Yeah, i didnt play them myself but iยดve read throug then. Anvilguard and Greywater Fastness are pretty cool setting you can get an actual feeling for, in contrast to much of the AoS artwork of people fighting in some nondescript enviroment

It's a decent system, but it lacks the thing that attracts people to WFRP, even that new TOWRPG seems to have had more success than Soulbound

It's rather slow release compared to their other Warhammer RPGs, and the Champions of Chaos book was announced years ago, but we only learned last month that we got any confirmation that it was being worked on.
actually their recent short adventure collection has some pretty cool locations that fully embrace the mythic level fantasy. Ancient hovering sky vaults, crashed kharadron sky cities, giant giga worms turned into ork fortresses and so on. If you have a setting of such rediculus epic scale and clashing gods, you might as well go all out.

There was some other stuff released in the meantime and Champion of Chaos is supposed to be bigger than other 3
Champion Of things, so it sounds more like the project bloated beyond the orginal scope

Also means the 40k games are doing better than Soulbound, even if most players don't like WanG and think Imperium Maledictum is a weaker game than Dark Heresy or the other older 40k RPGs
OP here, first of all thanks for the replies. In the end I got the rulebook amd the bestiary for 60โฌ, quite happy about it.
I love WFRP but sometimes I feel like playing something more heroic and less crunchy, hence the interest in Soulbound. I still don't totally dig the AOS style but the books are organized nicely and the "Champions of" series seems kinda neat. From what I've read, Champions of Chaos is in the making and that would be great

The IDK caster is part of the Soulbound order (guys getting jobs from high up or even the gods themself) and the guys they are fighting against might be one subfaction their goals are at odds at. If i recall correctly this particular artwork was related to a long lost underwater IDK enclave and their former owners are really pissy, with a 50/50 chance to ally or fight them. Looks like that party there got on their bad end

I recently got like ยฃ240 worth of Wrath and Glory books for like ยฃ80. It was great for me because I like to solo games and W&G is pretty straightforward.

Yeah, it's pretty simple. I remember the original publishers released a comic showcasing how the game worked. I think the W&G page on 1d6chan has it in the gallery.
