The Purple Shadow
Not quite Teehee Macaroni, but imo p. close.
The DM sent us down to the Underdark where we got tangled up in some matriarchy stuff.
One of our party- it might have been the asshole bard- gave one of the daughters of the Grand Matriarch a book in the vein of Zorro.
Thus the Purple Shadow was born.
Thus we had to babysit her, which was really problematic because I think the DM just gave her 20's in everything and was like "you have to bodyguard her"
so she's running around the Underdark with max dex and acrobatics parkour all over the place "fighting crime" which was basically her dragging us into combat and diplomatically awkward situations while laughing and backflipping out the nearest escape.

we leave the Underdark only for her to become a reoccurring thing- she followed us back to the surface and kept dragging us into situations, forcing us to drop everything, capture her, and then take her back to the Underdark.
Over and over and over again.

I always imagined them in my head giving off cheesy one liners about battling the forces of darkness, being the light in the shadows etc. Some fire/light based powers, with the ability to go nova by breaking their lanterns for a last hurrah. Good aligned Big Daddies kind of vibe. I hadn't got round to giving it deeper thought than that. Viewed them as constructs; whether they're ancient or recent I'd not decided. Lighthearted with the range for being serious when shit gets real.

I took the OC version that was created and turned them into a whole thing for my campaign. In my they are a never-ending force that hunts evil nonstop. They roam the lands and take out evil when they find it. I made a whole series of art based on it and some of the battles including making female versions and giant versions and some other variants. the players love them and have come across them a few times in the campaign so far and even helped a few of the Candles in fighting evil. Whoever created them I thank you as I find them to be a kickass creation and the holy warrior versions I run really spice up the game.

Orschat. Goblin mercenary warrior. Originally just an unnamed, unspectacular goblin captain who, through a series of lucky rolls (and bad luck on the PCs part) seemed unstoppable, forcing them to flee a battle with him in pursuit like the goddamn T-1000...nothing they did could touch him. He ended up becoming a lieutenant of the big bag, and a recurring threat (with name [stoled from L5R] and fighter levels) that would eventually kill one player, and maim another, before finally being slain near the end of the campaign.

*big bad

Another would be Luthic Zodd, half-orc, dread pirate of the Gunpowder Gauntlet. The running joke with this guy is that they had to kill him multiple times: the first time in a Deadmines-style raid on the underground sea cavern where his ship was moored: another when he was risen as a revenant with a grudge against the PCs; another as a zombie by a lich necromancer, and finally as a ghost.

Is a villain I run in the game I GM.

Nobody in the group even knew who this chick was until the party got to her. A city had a large disease break out with people dying (turned out to be dysentery cause the sewer broke and infected the water). A saint from a major religion in the setting had been in the area and went to the city to help. About a week later people stopped dying, but didn't heal or get better. They just stopped dying. And not just the sick people, but even like people who were stabbed, and they all kept feeling the pain. Then it started effecting livestock, so cut up chickens kept moving while being butchered kind of thing. Fucked up shit.
Deep under the sewer was a cavern she had found with an altar to an outer god similar to Nyarlathotep but instead of being dedicated to suffering it was a god of life. It leashed her to the altar and made it impossible for things to die in an ever growing sphere of influence. The party had been given a gift by someone known as the Chained Man, who was just some dude chained at the top of a mountain for thousands of years. The gift let them disrupt influence from the outer planes. Killing her was a really big relief.

It's been so many years I don't even remember his name, but he was a recurring data broker Devironian from a Star Wars game I was in. He was based on one of the GM's previous players (he does that, collects the PC sheets to recycle as NPCs later).
Fucker betrayed us more times than I could count but never when we had the power to do anything to stop him.
Until we finally caught him.
Felt so good to tear his horns of his body with my bare hands (I was a droid specializing in excessive strength) and then pummeling his face in.
Pic related is the closest I could get to him and the Sith Holocron he sold us without using any Star Wars language. Anything Star Wars kept turning him into Darth Maul.

I think my most hated NPC was "Kris". An androgenous Malkavian in a Vampire: the Masquerade game prone to pranks and impersonating people. No one knew Kris' gender, least of all Kris. Several players ran afoul of Kris' antics and hated the vampire with the fiery passion of a thousand suns, while a couple of the players found Kris absolute hysterical and did their best to protect the miscreant.
(It should be known that this was in the early 1990's before the trans / non-binary phenomenon exploded.)
The truth was only partially discovered. Kris had learned Vicissitude from a Tzimizce (sp?) who had gone completely mad and was absorbed into the Malkavians. Kris could be male or female or neither at their whim. The mystery of Kris' original gender was never solved.

After speeding to a canter the pair catch up to the centigor who turns to enter the forest. She appears to lead them randomly left and right, under a branch or past a rock. Then after a turn a path appears and the quiet forest noises change to what sounds like hundreds of animals just outside of view.
Being aware of the horse's limits, the centigor picks up speed which Rost can easily match. After just a few minutes the path ends ahead of them and a great plain opens ahead.

Like if I'm escorting a caravan through the desert and write that I keep an eye out for bandits and monsters, will it eventually trigger an encounter on its own or will nothing happen until I write "I spot several armed men coming out way" or something similar? Kinda sucks if it's the latter.

Mickey "Blue-Eyes" Monetta. I ran a campaign where all the PCs were members of a made up underground fighting competition called the S.C.R.A.P. League (Sword Coast Regional Association of Pugilists). Each player also created their own nemesis for the campaign. The youngest player went straight for a Snatch homage, and his nemesis was basically Brad Pitt's character from the movie. Mickey was as a bouncer at a brothel, who also fought in the League, and out of all the nemeses, he was encountered the most. I have never had more fun beating the shit out of my players than with this guy.

The other bandits quickly sensed that something was wrong and began to flee. But their escape was short-lived. they soon realized they were being encircled by two armed, humanoid goats, whose speed easily outmatched their own, effectively cutting off any route of retreat. What unsettled the trio even more was the sudden appearance of a man clad in dark iron armor, bearing a phoenix emblem, astride a powerful steed. Without hesitation, he dismounted and strode toward them, wielding a massive greatsword, who said laconically
>Release her.
As they looked closer, they realized he was an elf, but that did little to ease their nerves. His stance, his presence, everything about him signaled he meant business. It was clear that taking him down would require all three of them.

>Yara had never seen a Mortifact before. Designated Homo sapiens necroticus, they were an unstable, dangerous strain of abhuman, officially classified as a containment risk by the Ordo Sepulturum and, more often than not, kept under lock and auspex in deep research vaults. Even on the rare occasions one was deployed, it was under armed escort, shackled in blessed iron and shadowed by priests reciting litanies of restraint. The Mortifact’s flesh was a mottled green, slick and faintly pulsing, as if something obscene brewed beneath the skin; a slow, patient rot that whispered of Nurgle’s touch. Any sane soul would have stepped back, called for fire or prayer. But Yara thought the creature was beautiful. The two mutants moved together without thought, an embrace both desperate and inevitable. Somewhere above, unseen, an Inquisitorial servo-skull drifted past, optics irising wide, recording every forbidden second, cogitators ticking as it logged the trespass to the archive.

And so we resume the tale of the Techpriestess, continued from >>96245258

>While this grand conspiracy played itself out ten thousand lightyears away, Salafié led a charmed existence aboard the Rogue Trader's station, blissfully ignorant of the intrigues being carried out on her behalf. For she was born of the nobility, and so easily fell back into the routines of her youth that one could scarcely imagine that she was anything more than the Lord-Captain's pampered concubine.

>Each moment she was not mingling with the station's gentry, Salafié was posing for a portrait, or being measured by the tailors for yet another gown, or strolling the mercantile decks as she perused the finest wares. Days blurred into weeks of perfectly ordered leisure, until even the Priestess herself barely recalled the black deeds that had brought her here or the horrors she had only so recently left in her wake.

>Of course, all of this was carefully orchestrated by the Rogue Trader himself. For Cassius knew that there were only two things now that could derail his scheme to engineer the redemption of his dear Techpriestess, and the foremost of these threats was the Priestess herself. If she were to fall into one of her moods and commit some fantastical atrocity while her pardon remained in pendency, then all would be lost. But with Salafié kept as the willing prisoner of luxuries she could not resist, that matter was settled...

>Cassius now turned his attention to the other potential liability, the sole surviving witness of what had transpired when Salafié seized the Chaos cruiser: Lady Mirabella Solari. This called for a delicate touch, as he knew nothing of this woman but that her status among the Navis Nobilite placed her beyond the reach of threats or bribery. But an invitation to the station's opulent observation dome would no doubt help to make inroads in this quarter.

>What Cassius had expected of her, he could not say, but it was surely not what he saw when she answered his summons. Languid to the point of listlessness, Mira did not walk into the chamber but was carried, reclining limply across the bodies of a multitude of servitors that crawled and shambled beneath her, each with a finely-wrought silver mask grafted over what had been its face.

>"An inspiring view, is it not, Madame?" Cassius gestured to the armor-crystal dome above and the stars twinkling beyond.

>Mira said nothing, and scarcely seemed to move at all, idly regarding the Trader with heavily-lidded eyes from which dripped tears that glimmered with the same dark opalescence as the lens fitted into her forehead.

>"I am told you are Lady Mirabella Solari of the Navis houses."

>Mira inclined her head slightly, but remained silent.

>"I am also told that Magos Al-Faiz saved you from captivity among the heretics. Is it so?"

>"Was I saved?" Mira breathed the words in a singsong whisper, and in the silence that followed, Cassius had the feeling that the dark lens of her third eye was gazing upon his very soul. A faint, knowing smile played across Mira's lips as she continued, "I can say only that Salafié slew my captors and remade them as you see." Mira ran her pale fingers along the skull of a servitor...

>"I see." Cassius hesitated a moment, then approached the Navigatrix and knelt beside her, speaking in a conspiratorial tone. "If conversation does not interest you, I will not delay you long, but I must know whether you witnessed anything unusual about the Magos. Anything you might say if another were to ask you these same questions?"

>"I witnessed... I witnessed..." her voice trailed off into soft sighs as she lay back and writhed sinuously in the arms of the servitors, her hat falling unnoticed to the floor amidst movements at once appalling and alluring. The tears were gone from her eyes, Cassius noticed, bright eyes that flicked up expectantly to meet his. Eyes so pleasing to gaze into...

>Cassius blinked, and at once, he realized that his hand was on Mira's thigh. When had that happened? He drew back abruptly, muttering an apology. Mira laughed, half rising to follow him before collapsing back into the embrace of her cybernetic servants, seemingly overcome by the effort of it.

>"Perhaps another time, Lord Captain?" she purred weakly, "But for your question, I saw nothing of Salafié that you do not already know."

>He turned away, suddenly finding the way she moved against the metal things around her very hard to look upon. Had Cassius ever seen the lively, decorous young woman Mira had been before that one fateful journey through the Warp, her present state would have alarmed him in the extreme. But to Cassius, this was simply the strangeness of a Navigator, and if she were mad, then all the better. For though he had no doubt that some hideous secret existed between the Navigatrix and his Priestess, he neither needed nor wanted to learn it. It was enough for Cassius that the truth would ever go unspoken, and confident that Mira was in no condition to betray her secret, he hastened to set in motion the final step of his scheme.

Was a character that we as players enjoyed, but our characters hated him. We called him Street Wolf.

It was a Curse of Strahd campaign with a large group (8 players, way too many) and we had to fight a bunch of wolves. One of the wolf minis just happened to have a knife in its mouth and no matter what we did, we just couldn't hit the fucker. Not that the DM was fudging anything, we were just all rolling like shit against him. We were level 3 or so, so not like we had any particularly high bonuses to our attacks. After most of the wolves were dead, the rest, including the knife wolf, fled.

Later on, we're beset by more wolves, this time it's clear the knife wolf, now dubbed Street Wolf, was leading them. This time, we managed to land some hits but "your blows don't seem to be affecting him." He was now a werewolf and no one had any silvered weapons. Needless to say it was a fight to get him down to the point he ran.

We encountered him three more times before we finally lodged a silvered sword in his chest and tossed him over a cliff. Was the last time we saw him until we were facing Strahd himself for the final battle. The session ended with a battered-looking werewolf crashing down from the ceiling, wearing a thick leather glove and wielding a silver sword in that hand.

And then the group just fell apart and we never got to finish the fight.
So yeah, in the end, Street Wolf won.

Basically anything that needs super specificity or 90%+ consistency, cause a hand drawn artist could just bang out drafts and then shoop details pretty quickly. Or do you sometimes get given those drafts and you do the colors and such? Everything else I'd guess the prompt engineer might be magnitudes better just due to pure throughput.
Obviously you'd be doing pure local models, but do you use dedicated server space? How much prep work is done for a prompt vs retooling a prompt? Or is it just completely gut feel (experience) that directs you? What's the most annoying general thing to gen?
