Are you me? Last shadowrun game I was in, one of the players was trying to shoehorn in his dragon waifu.
As bad as that sounds, everyone else was worse. Another player wanted to play an AI, but never even bothered to learn the Matrix rules.
The GM never opened the core rulebook even once, and had no idea how to play at all. I ended up being the guy he asked whenever any rule came up.
But when I tried to explain the Matrix rules, he just gave up, and let the AI player kill everyone in a city block with a single die roll.

Very realistic Cyberpunk scene. Disarms can be done in a single roll on any adjacent character, no prerequisites. Other guy didn't know he was in a tabletop campaign.

I recognize the waifu. For what it's worth that's an actual mercenary that fights with a gun & riot shield. When I heard gacha I expected way worse.

On the subject of Shadowrun, does anyone else find it really hard to justify going on actual runs instead of just breaking into places and stealing shit for money? The pay is just so much better, and it's usually way easier.
