>erm ackshully he was saying
Fuck off, faggot. I'm saying he can't point to "Norse myth" that isn't compromised and you, apparently, have decided to suck his cock on this. You could try reading my posts instead of just his, but that's probably impossible for an illiterate bitch like you.

>Kek, I never said it was the whole norse mythology
Then where is the "whole" Norse mythology you insipid fucking faggot? You should be pointing at actually useful sources instead of wasting time naming random shit you heard of one time at a neopagan convention yet never bothered to read. Oh right, you can't. Because there aren't any such sources extant in the world. Beowulf is the closest we have left and it's still heavily compromised.
>every mythology and tradition is full of contradictions.
The contradictions are worsened because we have so little to draw upon.
>Yet the Edda is a part of norse mythology,
Which one? The Poetic Edda, collection of poems that lack context which was supposed to be provided by the oral tradition that they were based upon? Or the Prose Edda, which gives us a literal Q&A section about Norse myth, lacking all of the actual source material? Both are pitiful. That is the problem. You would know this if you had ever actually studied Norse myth at a real institution, rather than pretending you have, you insipid little pseudo-intellectual cunt.
>Your personal feud with it has no bearing on the scientific and general consensus.
The "scientific" consensus is that Norse mythology is a dead tradition because nearly all of it was preserved orally and we only retain a handful of fragmentary retellings, many of them heavily compromised by Christian authors including Beowulf, which is still the best preserved complete tradition we have of authentic Norse mythology, yet still has been heavily edited to suit Christian standards.
