>Want to make Battle master Fighter human with knight noble background
>Back story is that he was part of a elite shocktroops using Greatswords to dismantle enemy formations
>Very talented with the sword in fighting multiple enemies and dishing lots of damage in spite of his own safety
>Sent to adventure after saving the Duke from an assassin to earn honor in his name
>Leaning into Heavy armor master and Greatsword master feats
>Great weapon fighter style.
So which mauevers would be best to compliment said build both mechanics and lore?
I was leaning into precision for the obvious benefit of GWM, but what else would be well.

Have you tried even an attempt to be more helpful?

Riposte is more or less essential for some effectiveness as Battle Master. For AOE Sweeping attack is decent. Then take your pick from there: lunging for mobility, menacing for some crowd control and/or flavor, ECT. Avoid disarming because there's nothing stopping them from just picking their weapon back up and immediately attacking you again.

RAW, you could use an item interaction to pick up the weapon yourself or kick it away and force them to disentangle themselves from you to retrieve it.

I love rally. You have up to 4D8 and they can all be self-healing. Thats 18hp more at level 3, and you can use it to keep allies up too so your buffs wont drop
