Oddly enough, I tend to make most of my characters red-haired despite having brown hair myself.
The only character I made that had the same hair color as me shaved his hair.

I played a black archer barbarian (alternate class feature from unearthed arcana) back in like 2004 in a single game

played an arabic psionic warrior "assassin" in a psionics-only PF game back in 2013ish, only 2 or 3 sessions

never played a nonwhite nonhuman, because unless the subrace specifically exists they shouldnt exist

but Id never play a nonwhite now, since now I understand how different they are from us mentally and psychologically
