I know the next Mastery is based on the spiderman set, but IDC about capeshit so I'll probably skip it. What comes after that? Is it the Avatar? I also don't like it. I just want good old fashioned traditional fantasy theme with no pop-culture attachments.

Okay that was a very weird trophy run. Absolutely devastating 7-1 despite not seeing my bombs (Seriema didn't show up once) and always having terrible mana base in opening hand. How do you even classify this archetype? Tempo? I basically won because of sticky low power creatures and shitton of removal.
Dawnsire did surpisingly well despite being 5-mana-do-nothing, thanks to Monoist Sentry, I won 2 games with it. I want to hear your critic about the deck, as the curve here is terrible and go wide theme isn't very developed.
Still want to see how strong green is, but I happen do very well with all color pairs without green.

I had one game where the enemy had 3 Vondams, it was awful.
Also Seriema is very hit or miss, you were probably lucky not to draw it. As for the rest, it's exactly as you said, annoying creatures that demand a board wipe to be rid of combined with enough removal to get rid of the big blockers.
I'm confused as to why I can't find Dawnsire in the draft tables, but it's very much not there which is weird because everything else is there. Maybe it's so rare that nobody submitted a game with it.

Man I wish. I barely saw him despite the fact that he was P1P1 pick and forced me to go BW. Then I took Seriema just to increase the ability to get Vondam. I played him like 2 times, and managed to get him out early only in one game (got 3 swamps in opening hand, le classique de drafte). I also didn't proc his destruction ability once, but vigilance and menace are very annoying for opponent. His second ability kinda stops them from removing him as well.
I really wanted to try feared Perigree Beckoner + Embrace Oblivion + Vondam combo, but I picked something more versatile over the Embrace Oblivion.

I agree, because its indestructible ability is irrelevant, manacost is inconvinient and stats suck.

Susurian Voidborn basically consistently put my opponents in lethal range after board wipes and it was great.

It's a very flashy mythic rare so people in lower ranks tend to pick it despite it being not that great in general. Its first ability was generally easy to unlock because of Sentry and Scrapbot.

Also wanted to note that Insatiable Skittermaw did very well here because of abundance of removal and other ways to enable void. Decode Transmissions was kinda strong too, because 2 life mattered alot in death-from-thousand-cuts strategy and 2 cards for 3 mana is good too.

I'm looking to build a fearsome Simic deck atleast once because I only trophied in Ozrhov and Rakdos colors.

Just open packs for whatever set has the most cards you want and fill the rest out with wildcards. Raredraft when sets are new to avoid the draft lifers.

You can scrounge together a deck per set just from doing dailies and buying packs. More than that, you'll need to grind events. Constructed is slower but safer. Limited is faster and has a way better ceiling, but also riskier.

final fantasy limited was so fun compared to the last 3 quick draft sets on arena imo. Edge is fine, but Dragonstorm is imo one of the worst of all time, and Aetherdrift ain't very fun to me either.

only played limited for years - have loads of wildcards and thought its time to dabble in some standard.
made a landfall mono green and a lifegain white weenie deck from some online list since they barely needed any wildcards. updated them a bit after some games (like adding the eoe counter guy ouro..). landfall is ass/not fun to play imo, and just depends on a a big hydra or tifa combo which is kinda non interactive. Enjoyed lifegain weenies way more, seems super simple but Haliya, guided by light is such a fun card/draw engine and syncs really to get the "3 health card draw" in turn 2. Sheltered by ghosts just seems like a broken card, i'd play it 8x if I could.
Any fun and interactive deck rn but still competetive in standard you would recommend? doesnt have to be meta but after lifegain and landfall I assume its time to try smth removal heavy/interactive.
