The citadel water cup is actually quite nice. The super wide base makes it really stable so you can be pretty rigorous when cleaning your brushes and the ridges in side are nice - idk how effective they are but they give a nice tactile feeling. The only thing wrong with it is that it's a citadel product so it's probably way overpriced wherever you happen to get it from. 9/10 haven't drank the paintwater yet.

As complicated as entire cults left remaining after their plot has succeeded, or even rogue greater daemons wandering the ruins of a former Imperial world.

There should be a new phase between Movement and Shooting that entirely replaces the Psychic phase and has army-specific spells.
Generally speaking, this phase goes for flavourful buffs spread through 5 main disciplines.

>Psychic
>Ruinous
>Esotechnic
>Biosantic

Every army will have access to one or more of these.
Devout is for Imperial armies and the spells are related to Faith/Miracles. Sisters, Minostorum Priests, BT Chaplains
Psychic is general psychic phenomena, activated by Psykers of all kinds and is the most 'generic' of them. Sanctioned Psykers, Grey Knights, Librarians
Ruinous is Chaos sorcery usable by Chaos Marines.
Esotechnic is for tech-heavy factions (Tau, Crons, Admech), fluffed as using rare archeotech or experimental abilities.
Biosantic is for armies that have 'hive minds' or AI interference like Votaan, Crypteks, or Nids.

The spells function similarly to the 1k sons spells in terms of overcasting and whatnot. Generally Devout spells are weaker but have fewer drawbacks, Psychic spells are strong and 'generic', Ruinous spells are powerful but tend to require you to sacrifice chaff units, Biosantic falls apart without close-by units, and Esotechncics are limited by which models can use it.

Every army now gets 'something' extra they can do provided they bring the right model, and the armies that are supposed to specialize in a kind of magic get it very easily. The spell lists for each faction are unique, even if they have seperate theming. Orkz might just have pure Psychic stuff but they're all named and function differently to Space Marine psychics. Drukhari have 'rituals' to the muses that are renamed Devout spells.
This allows for more varied armies - Sisters aren't just 'dicehax', now they'd have a niche as the Devout-Heavy army. GK as pure Psychic. 1kSons as Ruinous + Psychic but avoiding the cost of Ruinous. And even Xenos get the equal attention cake.

Working on my Rogal Dorn Battle Tank at the moment. Turret at the moment as it's smaller (and my shitty 20 quid airbrush has karked it, so I need to paint yellow manually).
Forgot to put the 'light' in where that big gap is and cannot put it in properly unless I take the turret apart. Will think of what else to put there eventually.
