I'm conflicted over Untimeskipping Katya. Even without the cheating death thing (which isn't really much, in my opinion), you'd have an experienced Outsider who's about as strong as you with Empyreality, but your association would mean cutting diplomatic ties with both Malkuth and Paxxia's Realm. Terrible thing to have with the Ecumene looming over us.

Like fighting evil beings, stopping tyrants, healing people with certain magics, spying on evil cabals of wizards and planting a trail for a holy order of paladins to follow, etc.

1. 0^0
2. YMRD
3. The Keter
4 and 5. Nilmatrix/Zenia (interchangeable)

Everything after is headcanon and theorizing so idk. Paxxiaโ€™s probably up there, Evdokia could probably reach no 3 pretty quickly, as she has more potential than anyone including the outsider.

1. Charlotte
2. & 3. SRTR & YMRD
4. JNPL
5. Rhucuphre
6. Zenia
7. Nilmatrix
8. "One"
9. Katya

Assuming "the Elder Gods let her" theory is incorrect.

First 4 require no explanation.

Rhucuphre is a "Magician without parallel", one of the oldest beings in the world, a world ending threat, and has debatable influence on the deaths of Aat and Erginter and causing the current state of affairs.

At equal age, Zenia > Nilmatrix because SRTR is a bajillion times better at teaching everything than Charlotte and Zenia is nigh omnipotent if only limited by output as "the greatest universalist mage to have ever lived."

Considering she only costs 3 points she probably isn't some of the most powerful individual in the verse. Katya, Darina, Oko are probably all stronger than her at base, but she is more powerful than them in her deus ex machina moment it's similar to Dobrava encounter rigging are you going to rank her in the 4th place becouse she can kill all of the others bellow God tier in "betrayal most foul"?

>Ethereal Beauty, Everlasting Cognitive Speed, Memory Retention, Wisdom, Intelligence, Attentiveness, Spiritual Feel, Martial Instinct, Caster Intuition, Noble Inclination, All-Glimpse, Stigmata, Icon of Icons, Autoantecedence, Spirit Tap x3
I'm banking on a x3 Spirit Tap being broken enough to manifest any inborn gifts with enough knowledge about them so that they can be converted into a discipline through Tenyota's teachings, I only picked Icon of Icons and All-Glimpse in the case that most expensive gifts are the most difficult to manifests, and I plan to convert them into disciplines as soon as I can too (especially so that Zenya can benefit from All-Glimpse).

> Mentors: Eirina, Arsak, Jisilbert, Kashtanka, Leimeie, Tenyota, Mlada, Rhucuphre
Some are flavour picks (and adding numbers for Blazhko later), but Nezvana, Kashtanka, Leimete and Tenyota are absolute musts. Becoming an inborn gifts savants that can gift them to people (read Zenia) and then teach them how to convert them into disciplines he can then learn is the basis of the whole build.

> Companions: Zenia, Gunter Lilim (Blazhko, Dobrava, Nilmatrix)
I'm gonna assume Zenia won't be there in the toybox unless I confirm her existence by picking her. Picking Gunter with Dobrava and Nilmatrix as a first fuck you to Charlie, I'll not even gonna bother choosing the mentors for Blazhko (at least the toybox lets me avoid choosing deaths for all of them) but he has them and he's strong.

>Encounters: A Score Of Orcs, A Band Of Orcs, A Bridge, A Toll, A Troll
Not gonna do them anyway, might as well use the free companions slots for something.

Yup, fate amps are really strong, whatever is fated to happen will happen, that why Zenias guaranteed save is so strong, this is why Dobrava is so powerful, similarly why outsiders are so strong, cause they have their letters and encounters guaranteeing their survival, they are pretty much immortal while they haven't met their fated death.

>Dobrava Encounters: Shadow of God, By Design, Another Encounter I Don't Care About Unless I Find Something Broken
Congratulations Gunter, you now have an Empyrean Everlasting Dobrava! Have fun.

> Death: Theta
Plan is to enjoy my stay in the Toybox while training with and teaching Zenia with SRTR's assistance, making her an even more terrifying mage while I focus on a more martial build that relies on abusing any Inborn Gift discipline we can create and master in a hundred year time. Charlie won't know what hit her (literally, if Rhucuphre's teachings hold their weight), that is unless she hasn't already be defeated by Team B with monster Blazhko and Empyrean Everlasting Dobrava.

Now to be perfectly honest, I'm kind of worried that what Theta intends is "all your companion choices are actually voided" and in that case I have no true mean to assure Zenia's presence in the toybox. Now, maybe SRTR can just create a random shmuck I can gift and teach but I don't really know if she can or is willing to do that. But in that case I'll just switch to a daemonhost build so I can do that necessary first step by myself.

I think that people are generally undervaluing autoantecedence after tankista responded with a clear no on a few broken examples, like if spirit tap x3 could be made to give a permanent effect. I found an example he gave that could be used as a baseline, a Magician's Hands x3 that gives two spell slots in each hand plus allows you to store them indefinitely as a kind of Multiocular effect. That tells me Autoantecedence is functionally much greater than a simple x3, or maybe that the less a gift costs the greater a bonus you can get from it.

I'm going crazy trying to find a specific CYOA that seems to have vanished from the internet.
It was a build-your-waifu type about femdom, likely with femdom in the title, or maaaybe yandere (less likely though). One of the choices was about which "dominance" acts she practiced on you, and all of them used illustrations by the same artist, all of them black and white.
It's not Gentle Femdom (which by the way, has no femdom in it whatsoever, what the hell), and it wasn't nsfw.

>Cognitive Speed, Memory Retention, Wisdom, Intelligence, Attentiveness, Spiritual Feel, Martial Instinct, Caster Intuition, Noble Inclination, All-Glimpse, Stigmata, Spirit Tap x2, Letters Of The Damned, Daemonhost
Way less points than before, but enough to take all Mind and Sense perks, All-Glimpse cause discerning meaning of Letters will help with spawning Majin with the abilities I want, and I will first experiment on blank temporary templates through Spirit Tap. The Stigmata is mostly a way to ensure we'll have a way to communicate with SRTR once we've been released from the Toybox, it will be transformed into a discipline as well so that my Majin will benefit from it. Too bad I can't take icon of Icons, maybe I'll find a Letter with a similar effect.

> Mentors: Dei, Arsak, Nephinae, Jisilbert, Nezvana, Kashtanka, Leimeie, Mlada, Tenyota, Gewrgin
I've got two main goals with my picks: learning to manage a Majin population to ensure they will stay loyal to me and improve my template spawning abilities and Inborn Gift knowledge so that the Majin I'll create will all have valuable abilities that will synergize with each other when turned into disciplines. Gewrgin is mostly just there since he's cheap and so that we're even better prepared against Empyreans, I'll take into account that most of the information will be probably dated by the time we fight them though (also I'm picking Outer Tide, who knows if Charlie will even be the greatest threat I'll need to worry about by the time I'm released).

Be born in Stygia by immaculate conception, sorry mom, you'll have to raise me alone, the place seems to be ok with Majin though so it'll probably not be so bad.
I hate doing political stuff, so if the Outer Tide finds anyone that's not retarded, and doesn't want to kill me, i'll help whoever build a kingdom, spawn Majin waifus for them, and do other stuff as long as they're not completely incompetent.
Luckily, Keter knows how not to die to the runes, or so i hope, she also has By Design so she won't need to worry about her Death Rune. YMRD trait seems extremely useful for just about anything, plus having god at your side will help getting Keter of her ass.

>Death: Theta
Plan same as before, now focused on Majin Letters rather than every kind of Inborn Gift. I'll probably be spawning around one permanent Majin per year, probably more at first and less the closer we come to the deadline, so I have time to truly bond with each of them and become a small but terrifying force. Before being released from the toybox I'll give one last gift to my Majins and transform Daemonhost into a discipline we can all benefit from, and train them thoroughly so that their skill with it will only be slightly inferior when compared to a True Demon Lord. All with a direct connection with SRTR. I kind of expect her to be the reason for my downfall honestly.

Seek to become Hegemon of an anti-Ecumene alliance based in Doria but extending around the world to fight Charlotte. At the core of this is Kalliopa Aureole who โ€˜True Lovesโ€™ me and will give unity of the Empire and my kingdom in the war. Seek to lead a war to push back and destroy the Ecumene. Also Thoroughbreeding should give me powerful descendants to aid me in time should the war be protracted, as it well might.
Also have secondary goals of freeing SRTR from the toybox and reviving JNPL and working with YMRD, Iโ€™d say she owes me one anyway for helping Omega. Jisilberts info. should get this off to a strong start.

Companions (The master of my master is also my master, my companions companions are effectively also my companions)

Maou โ€“ Should be helpful with both her knowledge and magic and in helping to forge an anti-Ecumene alliance with Stygia and Dis.
Kashtankka of the Orthrung (companion) โ€“ Timeskip all her teachings allowing to use max. potential of my inborn gifts. She herself also will have good insight and abilities to fighting Ecumene.
The Keter โ€“ Should have a lot of knowledge about Charlotte and I can gain a lot from her failures to beat her.

Blazhko โ€“ (Kilyn of the Orthrung; Jisilbert; Jdan ordo-Dorian) โ€“ These mentors should help him to deal with magic and beomce a powerful anti-Ecumene hero.
Kilyn of the Orthrung โ€“ Share knowledge on Charlotteโ€™s injuries and weaknesses, use to develop moves against Charlotte, also see if she can give advice that Duโ€™um can use. Also seek to heal her and bring her into anti-Ecumene alliance.
Jisilbert โ€“ gain more insight into the canon of this world and key information on the Elder goddesses. Can help with their incorporation into the anti-Ecumene alliance and gaining their favour.

Jdan ordo-Dorian โ€“ Can use mentorship connection to help develop diplomatic alliance and bring Old Throne into anti-Ecumene alliance and get intelligence from future with time travelling ability. Major strategic advantage to know the future in a war.

Kalliopa Aureole โ€“ As future Empress who has โ€˜True Loveโ€™ on myself, we can marry and have a unified dynasty to merge the Empire and Exarchate and form the core of an anti-Ecumene alliance.
Omega โ€“ As Charlottesโ€™ daughter should have a lot of knowledge of her and the Ecumene. Through my connection with her might also be able to contact and get assistance from YMRD and get her in on the anti-Ecumene alliance.

Gunter Lilim (Ota; Duโ€™um; Oko Shtorma) โ€“ Can have a friendly rivalry with him as to who can contribute more to the anti-Ecumene alliance, rightful heir to the Qliphothian Tumen or the King of the Exarchate. He and his companions should be able to help defeat the Ecumene.
Ota โ€“ Strong powers to use against Ecumeme, even a threat to Charlotte herself.
Duโ€™um โ€“ Use her powers to try and kill any powerful suitable foes including Charlotte herself. Knowledge from other companions can help such as Eirin; Kilyn; Inga Yesod & Omega amongst others
Oko Shtorma โ€“ Heavy hitter in the war against the Ecumene

Dobrava (Hot Spot Troubles; A Calm and a Storm; Shadow of the God) โ€“ Perfect outcome in these encounters, beyond that, have her help out as best as sheโ€™s able.
Inga Yesod โ€“ Has a lot of knowledge, about how things worked and was 1 of 2 key sources to help Charlotte false ascent so should be useful in undoing her and maybe reviving JNPL and freeing SRTR. Will also raise Nilmatrix as Undead after her defeat.
Nilmatrix - With Dobravaโ€™s help, my perfect victory is predestined against Nilmatrix

The 3 stooges will be dead, it's written they'll die soon after the Emperor, nothing to do with me or her. It's after that, that Kalliopa Aureole will be made Empress, but I should have met her before that and she should love me and we can marry and our children will be heirs to both thrones. So not undermining the monarchy, and marrying between realms isn't that strange in real history and this gives the Empire a powerful ally in their war against the Ecumene. It was the Exarchate that was the most Pro-Charlotte of the Dorian realms to begin with.

As for Fate, well I don't assume it's nice, I think of it more mechanistically. As for things working as planned, well it's said no plan survives contact with the enemy, but you have a plan then dynamically respond to things working or not against your plan. As for what works or not, well only actually doing it would should that. So what changes and counters would be needed couldn't be judged unless seeing what they are. I guess simulating that is what mcyoa is about though.

Dobrava will meet and resolve her encounters before even meeting who she's been partnered with (either you or Gunther), so it's difficult to make sure you have a necromancer ready for her death, and for her to work against Nilmatrix it requires for them to be on Team Gunther, because if you choose Nilmatrix then you have to pick Shadow of God and it triggers the description "this event will occur at the last possible moment" stopping Dobrava from resolving it for you.

I grow tired of answering questions all day, and I am risking getting myself dragged into another QnA session for the rest of this thread.
But I will answer this.
I said it here before, as well, and no one complained in the thread.
When I said that I view Outer Reincarnation to be low fantasy-ish, it means not in terms of amounts of fantastical stuff out there, but general power scales.
Think about it reasonably and fairly. Most of the people in the world would count as Unnotable Ones. Most people do not have a lot of gifts, and even those that do have some do not suddenly become "Goku, Destroyer of Armies" - there are no gifts which make you tank or trade mountain destroying blows. You have to rely on gimmicks to fight other people who also rely on gimmicks.
You were presented people selected by the Outsider System and it skews your perception, but even most of them aren't someone who can go alone against entire armies.
Otherwise, the setting breaks apart. Armies must still matter. Firearms must still be a gamechanger.
Sure, there are things like flying ships and warmachina, but these things are still relatively uncommon, and they mutually counter each other.

Gunter straight ups gets 3 companions of any cost for free, and your paths will "constantly intersect", that's a lotta of people to help you, he's also your friendly rival, so he doesn't want you dead, just don't be a dick to him.
Blazhko gets 2 mentors for free so he can be a powerhouse probably, and Dobrava knows mathemagicks and gets you 3 encounters guaranteed solved with good rewards.

I have asked a similar question before in the previous version of outer reincarnation he has answered this about the question of 0^0 as a companion

"It could be done, yes, but itโ€™s also risky.

I am planning on making it clear that 00 wonโ€™t know which choices youโ€™ll decide on, so her being directly your Companion will let her guess them more easily. Since all she needs to mess with your fate is to avoid interrupting other already defined fates involving you, seeing these other fates get resolved right before her eyes will make it simple. Where otherwise you had a solid chance of avoiding contact with 00 if you give her no reason to engage in hostilities (and therefore no reason for her to actively affect your fate), now thereโ€™s no alternative to her getting involved with you.

This means that either you and her inevitably fight in the end โ€“ and this is worse than normal because sheโ€™s right next to you โ€“ or you actually manage to truly befriend her. This latter outcome could lead to any kind of resolution: some kind of redemption arc, or your defection to the Ecumene to fight the Elder Gods together even, or anything else I canโ€™t think of at the moment.

Are you a bad enough dude to use the causality techniques youโ€™ve untimeskipped-learned on their own original source to make her your Companion for reals?"

>For Buki how far can you stretch the interpretation of fated confrontation. Would a non violent confrontation like a verbal argument, a debate or even a game suffice for fulfilling the fate?

For the scenario where you have 00 as a Companion, you mean? That could be sufficient, but just by having Buki youโ€™re already lowering your odds of successfully getting along with her if she realizes that.

Adopted parents should cost much more, because they allow you to refund all points for your original father and mother selection while keeping gifts.
Jdan cost makes no sense, unless he hates you deeply for a certain reason.
Dragon King Most Divine Realm gives too much points with optimal language and location selection.
Overall low cost companions are underpowered because of high cost of additional slots. Basically cost of Spako is not 1 point but 4 points because you need a slot for her. Compare that to 9 cost of Keter or Omega, it's a not a huge margin.

Not Tank, but it looks like yes, and the Ecumene is agonizingly overstretched right now. She has spent the past century playing a single player map-painting thing game. And she has set herself up to be Persia moments before Alexander the Glory Hog runs a train on her brittle exterior army right into the interior.

Her position in Poluden still hasn't wiped out the Uruk and is dropped in priority with trying to drive the Dorians out of Tsoshu, her holdings in Mamet are coastal and like to be overrun by an actual effort from the interior, and her control over Tsoshu is likewise held together by naval dominance and active concentration. She has needed to win battles and hold land to get this far, but because she doesn't have any real opposition it has left her in a weirdly vulnerable position if we take stock of the quality of her holdings.

To defeat the Ecumene as an entity there are a few key strategies needed. Unironically copying the anti-Japanese WW2 model provides a starting point.
>Contest the Oceans to ensure her power base in the old homeland can't support the colonial ventures. Ideally through a combination of aerial, naval, and land based ventures
>Ensure that attention of the Ecumene is divided, forcing them to divert attention to all three of their continents along with the broader naval war, preventing force concentration and allowing an aggressive attacker to win chosen battles
>Overwhelm the intelligence gathering activities of the Ecumene while actively leading insurgent efforts, primarily in the outer regions of Tsoshu where anti-military efforts and ethnic grievances can be exacerbated.
>Avoid getting caught in 'decisive' battles and focus on the encircling of enemy positions, gutting supply lines, resource depots, ports, and the like while allowing a lack of fuel and hunger to do the real damage.

Sure, she could go out and try and crush something directly, and could probably do it. But each time that poses a risk. Even if it is a tiny risk she's already suffered personal defeats in places that she shouldn't have.

This is what Tank meant when he said there is a nominal logic underneath all of the Ecumene Mathamagics and Warmachina. "This world is fiction. We are the only things that are real within my sight. The rest are all disgusting lies. If this is so, then it doesn't matter what we do to others.

No matter how depraved or horrible our actions could be, I consider it all to be meaningless. In light of that, it is my obligation to drag this world through the mud and ruin the tale, whatever it might be.

There is only us, and even the narrative of fate is merely an illusion. It is up to me to prove to the storytellers that their works are worthless, to punish them for daring to make something like this.

And so, I shall inflict as much dread and suffering as I possibly can. I know they cannot avert their eyes. I shall tear out the heart of what they consider to be their marvel, for what they depict is beautiful cannot possibly be anything but abominable."

The only thing adoption guarantees is that each adopted parent has some sort of caregiver relationship with you, and that you learn their languages. It doesn't actually guarantee that the two adopted parents are together as a romantic couple (or that they stick together for long if they do form a couple).

I'd assume that Katya adopts you like an actual kid and Dirk shows up at your location because the All-Glimpse told him that's where he needed to be. They work together to raise you because they both have reasons to care about you, even if they also both know this is outsider system fuckery. Maybe they take the opportunity to talk about the past and work shit out, maybe they start hate-fucking, or maybe they decide to sleep in separate houses and only coordinate about your upbringing. >Explain
Her choices made through the Outsider System ended up with a hard life as a child and her parent's suffering. From this she sought revenge against the Elven race that put them through this thinking she was in the right. She succeeded but more things went wrong and she started blaming the gods instead. In her quest to take them down, her ascended locked her to this world when she has had enough of it and wants to go back home to earth. But she can't. She's a god now. She fucked up.

So she takes it out on the rest of this world with a goal of turning it into the earth she knew, takes it out on the outsiders, and ultimately wants to end everything along with herself. This would have been fine if [JPNL] was still around because then all those dead souls could reincarnate. But since she is "dead" they can't, so everyone would truly die. You can probably use disappearance-as-death for some letters -- "betraying" your friend by teleporting them to another planet where they're never seen again probably counts as Lyudi, for example -- but you can't just dodge their death entirely by trying to write them out of the story. They'll come back, and their letter will still be in effect until it's resolved.

That's not even really possible. Metaknowledge, maybe, if you grind incredibly hard, but chances are you'll just die and you are arguably still relying on your outsider privileges. Not to mention if you were smart or athletic or whatever on earth, you lose that.

As far as Earth skills go, they're basically useless. This is a world that operates on words and ideas, not physical laws. 0^0 has made a crude imitation of real physics, but it's not the same. And there are already muskets and, as it seems from the image of the second, semi-modern automatic rifles.
What exactly are you going to do with your Earth skills? Especially without fate or any help? Maybe if you are particularly charismatic and charming, but if you are you also probably aren't posting on /tg/

Inner Vision's big thing is letting you test new spells without risking actually casting them. It doesn't do anything to help you actually learn the new spell. Its usefulness depends on how often you're trying new spells, and without other gifts, you're probably not finding new spells very often.

Azure Wreath improves your self-buffing abilities and lets you get away with little sloppy while buffing yourself. It does help with learning magic, but only self-targeted magic, and it encourages bad habits simply by letting you get away with keeping them. On its own it's more than enough for a spellsword who just wants something like the demonhunt defense magic, but it probably makes real wizardry harder.

Kneeling twilight's effect on casting is basically a nerfed version of spiritual feel. It helps you go deeper in what you already know, but doesn't help with initial knowledge acquisition. Definitely useful, but it's still going to be hard starting out.

Taken together, you're encouraged become a lazy half-caster who uses their natural advantage on self-buffs along with their built-in error checker to get decent results without much effort. Kneeling twilight allows for some creative innovation on what you already learned, so you probably get frustratingly good with the magics that you have, but you're soft-locked out of anything that Azure Wreath isn't helping with because of the bad habits that Auzre Wreath encouraged. You're not a proper spellcaster, but you also didn't have to work very hard to get where you are, so maybe that's worth it to you.

As for my more concrete plans... Cure Ielziaseh and help her ascend. Hunt Rhucuphre. Maybe take over a country or create a new one with fellow Outsiders. In any case, an alliance of Outsiders is a must.

Why? You have a lot of Outsiders who didn't pick social gifts or went off doing their own things (example: Krinak is in the Underground, Liriel is going to Orthrung, etc).
Why try to ally at all?

The way I read it, you get a 100% power buff for each close friend, and less for non close friends. That's only O(2^n) scaling, at best, and close friends are hard to make.

You gotta scale harder than that if you want to kill a god.

I don't think it's really something that makes sense, her madness is exactly the process of ascending, living the most roles possible to grasp all meaning, it's just that she's trying to do that in a single life.

I don't think so. The race section says:
>If in an extremely specific scenario you're unable to pick any of them due to your previous choice, then choose any from those presented to you below. However, you must still fit the displayed requirements.
But none of the lost races are presented to you. In fact the "Other" category has the requirement "0^0 is dead".
