>Therykos. A feudal backwater. The voidship Annelid was sworn to docked here often, trading trinkets for sacks of grain and fresh wine. The place was dirt-simple. They had no ear for the Emperor’s voice, no inkling of the vast Imperium that spanned the stars above their smoke-choked skies. Here, peasants toiled the fields and served under noble aristocracies fortified behind primitive stone castles.

>When Annelid stepped among them, they gawped. Their heretical myths spoke of towering scions and half-giants born of heaven. She fit their stories too well. Her warped, mutated body, normally viewed with disgust, was taken for something holy. They saw divinity in the mistake of her making.

The tale of the Techpriestess continues from >>96461212

>As these heartwarming events transpired half a galaxy away, Inquisitor Dominic Corsini was screaming in incoherent rage. And though this was not an unusual state to find the Inquisitor in, his wrath was kindled as never before. Beneath his fists lay a crumpled missive from the High Lords of Terra rejecting his demand for the arrest and execution of the renegade Techpriestess SalafiΓ© Al-Faiz, nor would they even grant him an audience to make his case against her pardon! He had given everything in the Emperor's service, tirelessly hunting this heretic, yet now, in the very moment she revealed herself, justice was denied!

>Almost seventy years earlier, Inquisitor Corsini had been witness to an atrocity that proved but the first of many carried out by the Priestess across the fringes of the Segmentum Tempestus. In those days, he had been but a child, serving as a page in Governor's palace on Meridia Prime when SalafiΓ© had graced the planet with her presence.

>Though Dominic never knew what terrible offense had precipitated it, the Governor dispatched his personal guard to arrest SalafiΓ©, only to have them return to the palace as hideously shambling things of metal, while the Priestess herself strode the halls amidst her horde of mechanical thralls, cutting short the lives of men with the casual ease of a girl picking flowers. The slaughter continued for days as Dominic hid in the ventilation ducts, half starved, witnessing scenes of bloodshed that would haunt his dreams all the years of his life.

>When the Imperial Guard relief forces arrived weeks later, the Priestess was nowhere to be found, but the capital was in ruins, reduced to a vast excavation site seeking some unknown object that had lain far below. Every person Dominic had ever known, his family, his friends, all were lost. And on that day, the boy swore an oath to the God-Emperor that he would slay this accursed Priestess or die trying!

Having cringe in a weeaboo setting is like having grimdark in a 40k game, you're not just allowed to have it: it's required.
You might want to have a very carefree attitude towards worldbuilding and let the characters and action shine and carry the show. For instance in a super robot mecha game you wouldn't try to explain too hard why only Japan is under attack by alien kaijuu and is able to produce the correct amount of teenager pilots that can give humanity a fighting chance - your brain power goes to describing the fighting and subsequent devastation.

Andris pauses for a moment then rushes off with guard. She must have expected RΓΆst to follow her, but instead RΓΆst has run towards the market.
She spends a few minutes trying to find Corun then dashes to him. He's confused to see her when he's on duty as RΓΆst knows to not bother him during his job.

Hearing the desperation in her voice, together they hurry to the barracks.

Just filled in some local area since its TT anyway. Will be relevant to the Manslayers and Manhunters at minimum. I'm normally busy on weekends so mostly just do random images for the thread.

Yeah, I cheated with that one a bit.
I was supposed to be a tour of america, with the "the scroll was better" line when she got to the Statue of Liberty.
But when trying to gen a view of Glacier National Park, it spit out a Yosemite (which is a glacial canyon) and I changed plans to just tour California.
Might be tempted later to expand to more locales around America. But not right now.

Like every single repetition (looking up, view from below and other synonyms). The porcelain skin, mentioned three times and the skin is rosey. The mist. The reflective blood, which uses the same generic lighting from the left. The triangle composition. The trillion different reptitins of anime style. The "smile that builds a powerful dynamic of trust despite her otherworldly aura.". The mention of the single strands of hair being highlighted, which they aren't like the blood. And so on

I can't even see those specific terms, but it's a low angle scene, where is the problem? The porcelain skin complexion looking rosey might be because of the fire's lightening. Only thing I might really agree with is the lightening of the blood, especially in that variation.
>"smile that builds a powerful dynamic of trust despite her otherworldly aura."
That's definitely present for me.

I think you've not even tried to generate it without removing that nonsense, right? Actually that specific prompt gets blocked without it, so at least it does something, it confuses the filter. And I've tested in other prompts that those instructions have an impact, more or less subtle. Also, adding "A black raven sits on her shoulder." at the very end of the prompt does result in the raven appearing, so the model is actually parsing the whole stupidly long thing.

AI doesn't understand this.

>Line work
not there. I don't think you understand what linework is, either.

>sharp contrast
not there.

>background with lighter linework
not there. Again, you don't know what linework is if you keep asking for it in a digital anime style.

>deep forest greens and dark browns
not there. The trees are black because it's dark, and also you asked them to be blurred and less detailed.

>individual hair strands highlighted
not there. See above.

>glowing skin
not there. It's fireplace light, and it's being overwritten by the moonlight, so it only inconsistently appears on the hand.

>Anime sensibilities blended with semi-realistic depth
AI doesn't understand this.

not there.

>emotionally immersive
AI doesn't understand this.

I think you don't understand that a lot of digital art has manually drawn linework. And you should probably try something out in that particular model before saying that AI doesn't understand it. I get the vague impression that you're trolling, if you think that that kind of Gemini slop is better, if anything else because it matches what you type in the prompt box, all the more power to you. I'm going to keep prompting as I've learnt to do through trial and error.

>Inducted into the Schola Progenium as a war orphan, boy who would one day become Inquisitor Corsini dedicated himself to military drill, driven by the vow he had made to avenge the destruction of his home. And when an Inquisitor arrived a decade later seeking the last survivor of the "Technocalypse of Meridia Prime," the young man volunteered his service to the Inquisition without fear or hesitation.

>For two decades, Dominic served as an Inquisitorial acolyte, honing the skills of investigation and purgation under the tutelage of his new master. From world to world, they pursued SalafiΓ©, until during the infamous cleansing of Vhormanstadt Hive, Dominic lost both his master and his right eye as their position was overrun by biomechanical horrors.

>That he survived at all could only have been the Emperor's will at work, yet awakening in the medicae bay, Dominic rushed to a mirror and stared in abject horror at the glowing red cybernetic lens that gazed back at him from his own ruined eye socket. Some would say that he went mad that day, seeing in himself the very reflection of the heretek he hunted. And though he was granted the honor of succeeding his master to the rank of Inquisitor, he could no longer bear the gaze of his peers, henceforth hiding his face behind the pointed hood of a penitent as he slid ever further into puritanical fanaticism.

The two of you bickering aside, I've noticed recently that lately AI genned images are starting to show off their generation technique with this filter on them that really makes the whole think look like you're seeing it through static, is this caused by using certain engines or is there something else going on here?
