Romance doesn't belong in Tabletop

True. Nor does it belong in most sf/f fiction. Whether writing or roleplaying, romance is generally irrelevant to the story in toal. Players and writers who focus on it or insert it into their fiction are coombrains on some level.

People who can't write romance shouldn't bring it to their games.

Unless a specific group playing a specific game wants it, of course.

I'm a sucker for romance in stuff like that, but most of the time it's written baaadly, so baaadly.
Although it can be good even if a bit hammy as long as you manage to convey the feelings well

I don't have to force it. Fictional women have sex with me consensually.

I'm doing It right now. One of the players wants to marry his brother's fiance, he just challenge him to a duel, the rest of the group it's supporting him.
Go on and try to stop me, pleb.

Why not look at some games for sensibility?

Take Brandish for instance, it's a hardcore dungeon crawl adventure, but you get a little chat with your hot rival every floor or two.

This is coincidentally also the correct amount of romance for a ttrpg.
