There's not much more you can do for belph on top of what it already has, all you can add is a way to get rid of level 6-7 bodies and a clutch final attack.
Still loses hard to on deletions, but the added consistency makes it more bearable.

I run a Metaltyrano and a datamon in Machinedramon and I still het wiped every turn by de-digivolve effects. Should I increase my ratios of these cards or is there some other way I can prevent de-digivolve from happening?

I'm always confused on how to play against royal knight decks, generally speaking. Should I be rushing their security or trying to remove the knights? It gets annoying because they get a lot of good things from hitting their security, along with high DP mons, and it's not easy removing their cards from the field. And then there's Cool Boys and Omekamons. Maybe it's cause I'm a new player, but facing it is a headache.

Depends on your own deck, but removing bodies is usually my strategy. But there's definitely a lot of factors at play and you will have to adjust our plays accordingly

Jesmon GX couldn't unsuspend due to Kuwagamon being played
File Island and the single facedown source Analman added pushed Kimeramon's DP just over Omni X's making it unable to raid into it (Angemon inherit would have made me deck out if I got deleted)
So he swung with normal Omni, which I blocked
Then he swung with Omni X, hit File Island in security and I played the other Monochromon from trash to DeDigivolve Omni X and prevent its bullshit attack without suspending

Ruling question about puppets against omni x

I have two kaguyas, my opponent use the omni effect and choose kaguya a to stay so i have to delete the kaguya b can i trigger the level 5 effect to prevent of kaguya b from leaving the field and then i trigger either of the kaguya all turns effect to get ride of the omni effect or do i have to wait the omni to resolve all the effect?

I've come to the conclusion that this deck is just completely unfun to play against. I would honestly rather play against Nokia Omnimon and take a dice roll of either losing in 3 turns or winning. I just faced a RK deck on DCGO with my ver.1 DM deck, and I thought it was going really well, as I got ShinMonzaemon early and was removing all important sources for like 5 turns straight. But the variation I faced had constant defensive options with Odin's Breath and Revelation of Light. After like 30 minutes I lost because I ran out of resources to deal with a lone Omnimon X who had 4 of those option cards that let's it stay in the battle area. I really don't get if this guy got really lucky or it is an unwinnable matchup, because despite me thinking I was winning, my opponent had 4 security cards in the end. At least their Drasil had only had 1 RK in it because of an option card...

Works well with MadLeomon's end of attack inherit because it gives you both a level 5 and another Digimon to Digivolve.
But Grapleo is currently the only in-archetype piercing so Raid isn't super consistent

It is deck dependent. Some decks can stall you to hell, some decks can blitz you to death, some are midrange. The recent top 8 for instance can kill you all the way from turn 3 to whenever the fuck the feel like ending your life because theyre waiting to tutor/draw in the win con.

Leomon is very cheap but hasn't gotten support in a while.
Beelzemon should be affordable if you can find the starter deck at MSRP, but it is the SEC rare of next week's set (not sure how many will be run in the deck) so will creep up.
Tamers Terriermon is pretty mid, usually people run parts of it in a Willis Rapidmon deck. Rapidmon X is like a $20 card so immediately that would be most of your budget. Deck is also just okay.

Regardless you can just test on the fansim to learn the game and try the decks before committing to purchasing

You're probably getting mixed up with effects like Superior Mode not triggering Overflow, but that's because overflow says "when this CARD leaves the field", not "when this DIGIMON leaves the field".
A Digimon is a game entity that exists on the field.
A card is the physical piece of cardboard you can hold in your hand.
A Digimon is represented by the card at the top of the stack, which is typically a Digimon card. A Digimon card is just a card that says Digimon at the top of the card, regardless of location.

So I'm slowly starting to get the hang of this. I think my biggest problem is just an experience gap between me and other players. That and my deck isn't the best. I must admit though, I'm having a ton of fun despite losing a lot.

Also is ST20 worth picking up? I really like the Greymon line and I thought someone told me the two newest starters were worth it.

The two starters combine to make a deck that is pretty much competitive out of the box. You can upgrade it with some cheap singles from BT21 but the secret rare Tai is pretty expensive
They're most worth it for the included promo scrambles that are staples in every colour (but ironically not used in the Adventure deck)

Honestly, pilots can make a huge difference with a deck too. A good example of this is EX9 machinedramon. Yes it's nice to proc its on-play and proc another cyborg that you tuck with that effect, but it is also potentially WAY stronger to proc it when attacking, for example.

It's a subtly smart ban. It killed rush Guilmon which enabled a lot of stuff, the Growlmon they hit was critically important to the engine and this makes the promo purple gigi egg a lot less usable which enabled some of the nasty recursion the engine had. Garuda X was critical for an interesting but stupidly strong Alphamon Ouryuken ACE deck and as >>96516885 points out, Garuda X was a ticking time bomb with how much it could do, especially with protoform making it usable in any deck with red and X-antibody forms. The bans hit most of the top decks ,and aside from how much the garuda X ban killed birds, which is really what you want in a ban list

Reduce your floodgate Terrier and increase the starter Terrier and Terrier X. I don't think you'll get to use the floodgate effect as much as those two
You can also add techs into the deck (Level 7s, non tribal ACEs, etc.), the obvious one is slapping MedievalGallant lol but that depends on how much you're willing to shell out if you were to build it irl (I don't run it in mine)
