That was me. I moved. There were complications. But I have good high-resolution images of all 16 pages (not a pdf with bookmarks, someone else will have to do that). Where should I upload them? Page #2 attached for proof. I can also upload the original scans (600 dpi .tifs, uncropped) if anyone wants to crop and clean them up better than I can, should be a ~50Meg zip.

I also have scans of the beta/playtest version of the never-released Bugtown rpg that was based on the comics of Matt Howarth and designed by James Wallis back in the early 1990s. It was similar to the Howarth "Bugtown/Amber" crossover comics in Amberzine #6/#8/#9, "Amber Raves of Pain". The original plan was to have the rules on the back cover of the gamebook, the rest was to be source material, fluff, and what (I believe) later became the 6-issue comic series "Bugtown" as an illustrated example of play and mini-campaign. 88 pages, ~170Meg zip, same type of scans as Hellrider #1.

Forgot to mention that Bugtown was supposed to be one of the Phage Press books that followed the never-released Rebma sourcebook and the original version of Shadow Knight (not the version that was eventually released). There was supposed to be a Tir-na Nog'th sourcebook in there somewhere as well. We got robbed, fa/tg/uys and ca/tg/irls.

Ah, sorry for the confusion, that was an upload code. By posting here & including the code, the checksums, and other info included in the uploaded nfo files, I was letting Owlnon know that the files they received were much less likely to be something malicious uploaded by a different anon abusing the URL. I assume they will still scan the uploads a variety of different ways before opening them.

The memorabilia/ephemera papers are mostly single-sided, with the other side usually being snailmail addresses and the occasional cartoon doodle. Rather than post them in the share thread or upload them to an archive somewhere (though I have no problem uploading an archive of images bigger than I can post to /tg/), I'll start a separate thread and make an announcement here. Then I'll just post all of the images in the thread. I won't be able to get started until this weekend, though.

A few questions:

What's the max size image I can post in a /tg/ thread?
Is .jpg ok, or is another filetype preferred? I usually scan to .tif & go from there, for example.
The art and text are standard black monochrome (from a 1990s laser printer and/or photocopier), but a lot of them are on colored paper; do I upload them in black & green, black & blue, etc., or convert the scans to standard black and white?

Nice. Ok, I have a ton of actual work shit I still need to do today, but you know what? I'll make a thread tonight and just start posting the raw scans to it, image by image. Hellrider #1, too. The oversized scan borders will still be there, some are a bit crooked and need some fine rotation before being converted to pdfs, but fuck it. I'll put the largest images I can online so interested parties can get a look at these apparently long-missing documents. I'm glad I can give something interesting back to a place that has provided me with so much.

Just a random thought, I know Willis and Howarth had issues over money and royalties, which is part of why the project fell apart, but ~30 years later and with crowdfunding having changed the industry. I wonder if they'd be willing to try this again, especially if fans reached out to them. Howarth's stuff is truly deranged and a lot of fun, especially for anyone who likes Moebius comics, traditional games with the look and feel of The Painted Wastelands, industrial music and culture, etc., but a lot of it is sadly out of print. I actually ordered directly from him a few years ago and grabbed a bunch of rarities (as well as completing my Post brothers and Savage Henry runs). I don't have a top of the line scanner, but I might be able to scan some of the weirder stuff. I'll see what I can do.
