You have 1% chance to pull this card. Assuming you have even 10 basic landfind cards in deck, that's more or less a 0.1% chance each game that you'll find this card and a land search card to use it with. You're also looking at needing at least 6 mana to pull it off, all to find a nonbasic you could find with anything like Crop Rotation or Archdruids Charm.

So to answer your question: yes it's a good card and you should include it in every green deck you have.

I moved these decks onto scryfall cause you guys pressured me to stop using tappedout.

What do you think? I know sensei's divining top is busted (I goldfish'd with it and it's super fun) but melek feels bad enough that I p much need it. I'm proxxying it but it would be cool to own an original Kamigawa printed copy.

I would especially appreciate help refining the Melek deck. I would like to focus the deck's win con on commander damage and big swings with unblockables/flyers and clearing the board with copied removal. But prowess weenies Assault strobe and monstrous rage are OOS at my LGS unfortunately so i might have to proxxy them like I did for ponder and sol ring. Also not sure if Thran dynamo or Swiftfoot boots are necessary or if they can be replaced with something better.

Let's talk about EveryDay EDH carry. What do anons carry their decks in? Do you use deck boxes at all or a tray system?
I use an old camera bag, it's just the right size for six deck boxes, then has pockets for a dice bag and token box. Front pouch holds dry erase markers for infinitokens.
For deck storage I have an old CD cabinet I got at a thrift store. it's the perfect depth for a deckbox and easy to get in and out of.

I would agree for the most part except with council's judgment they're gone for good whereas grasp of fate leaves the possibility of them coming back.
If you're good at politics you can remove more than one thing from a single player's board if you need to hate someone out of the game too. Funny enough turn order is quite impactful to the resolution of the card.
I'm not going to pretend like grasp isn't the better card to run in most situations but there is some dynamics that makes council more interesting.

This is something I'm starting to have familiarity with. I'm into Heroscape (finally got revived!) and the first fucking crossover in the reboot, the second crossover EVER is fucking G.I. Joe! Thankfully, the models look good and have decent rules, so I can't complain too much.

Council's Judgement gets around Ward/Hexproof and they can't get their stuff back. Every time I've played it it's been an absolute blowout

I thought you can just keep casting spells, which I just did. If that would be how the card actually works, it would be underworld breach levels of cracked

It really is. My friends are starting to really get into it too, though it will be a while before any but one actually gets units to face me, rather than draft from my collection. That's OK tho, it let's me set the power level of our local meta and I'm not to interested in it going overboard.

Who's your favorite general and what are your favorite units? My favorite generals are Vydar and Utgar. Still deciding on my favorite units, though I'm warming up to Evil Realin and Loveattack.

My daughter and I got into the original release while we were waiting for the new release to drop after seeing it at a convention.
We haven't got bored with the old stuff yet so were just chunking away games with Rise of the Valkyrie.
I let my daughter pick my army most times but I'd definitely put Ne-Gok-Sa and the Marro Warriors at the top of the list aside from the obviously busted Raelin

The cool thing about Grasp is that the opponents are somewhat discouraged to remove it to get their stuff back, because it gives the other two theirs back as well; that is if they even are in colors that can easily remove Enchantments. For the most part, the stuff is long enough gone to matter a lot - much like how picrel is just a very sweet spot removal piece.

Voting cards are certainly more fun to play and Councils Judgement is far from being bad
