All good advice. I am a bit pessimistic about all that though, since I have not really been living a life of recluse (except admittedly couple past years), I was active in student activities and hobby groups through college, did hang out with friends and their friends past it, and there were women in all of those. And I survived through all of it with my virginity intact without ever dating anyone. Even if someone was ever interested in me I would not know, I probably would not get it unless told bluntly anyways. I am pretty sure that just living normally and meeting people along the way is not going to lead into relationship for me, even if it leads into friends. I’m recently married. My wife has been running a dnd campaign with her friends for like 8 years. She helps me sculpt greenstuff and figure out paint schemes for my 40K minis. We do in fact have the sex and she’s 100 percent female. Of my play groups, I’d say it’s about 60/40 unfuckable neckbeards to functional adult men with families. The ones that really throw me are the trans women who still have girlfriends and wives who are okay with the change.

I’ve been running a long form traveller campaign for two years and play battletech and 40k fairly regularly with my friends. I have sex 5-6 times a week with my old (25) lady. NTA, but /fit/bro checking in. The single most important thing is to avoid drinking your calories. Eliminate soda, Starbucks, Mango Sabrina Refreshers from Dunkin Donuts and all of that shit. Even if it claims to have fruit in it, it's fucking poison and making you fat. After that, find out your calorie max for the day with an online TDEE calculator. It's not letting me post a link to one because spam (lol ironic) but go to your search engine of choice and type "TDEE calculator" and go to literally any of them. Count your calories and don't eat more than this. Next, eat your bodyweight in grams of protein per day. So if you're 180lb, eat 180g of protein per day. You'll notice that by trying to do this, you won't have much room for many other calories, and all of a sudden you'll start feeling fucking great. Finally, when you start working out, just remember that you're wearing your body from two weeks ago in the gym (i.e. it won't look any different for about 2 weeks). If you've never worked out before, it will unironically take 2 months to appear on your body, but you'll have a "holy shit" epiphany that will feel like Link pulling the Hookshot out of a treasure chest, music and all.
