Kinda.
Was playing Runequest; one of my players got a little too friendly with an Elven Queen; I rolled some dice, decided she liked him back.
This was not the worst result, but it would have been better to be ignored.
She dispatched a Vine-runner, a sort of woody ape-goblin thing, to act as his attendant, but as soon as he fell in battle it spirited his body off, never to be seen again.
Behind-the-screen canon is that he was magically resurrected, but is now the "permanent guest" of the Elven Queen.
They never found that out though; the battle was a TPK; my duo of Telmori wolf-men decided to leap out in front of a pair of horse-back raiders and hold them up; they got charge bonus damage in the face for their troubles; neither thought to adopt their magically invulnerable werewolf forms at the time, so they were hacked and trampled to death by apair of perfectly mundane Orlanthi cattle-lifters.
I offered them additional rune magic, but they scoffed at the idea of giving up permanent POW stat for spells.
A shame; one decent shield spell would have been the difference.
