Reading the control the chaos section again, it is rather ambiguous if your choices are impacted by how you weave fate around you and if it is indeed another universe you perhaps link yourself to.
And as your character is a hero/adventurer, it might indeed be harder to resist going for the theme and still be able to remain/call yourself a man of the people after altering destiny so.
Perhaps its all up to interpretation in the end?

I have considered perhaps revisiting my own build again and dumping some choices into the forbidden fruits, dimensional raids never sat well with me.

There can be good cyoas that barely get mentioned (like Demon Eyes) but if a cyoa gets so popular for so much time, it did something right. Maybe that something is not of my liking, like Outer Reincarnation, I don't like it nor care about it. But I can see why its popular, its simply not my cup of tea. And while everyone was talking only about it, I simply stopped coming here. I didn't whine nor tried to shitpost.

Top Conquerors and top agents like Soleac that had likely more than 10000000 years ahead of you. The way this places out, in my mind, is working my way up through the compound I woke up in, collecting my allies along the way. They were imprisoned as well and are mixed up in the chaos. We’ll bust out with the Golden Vessel upon reaching the treasure vault, with the caveat that I’ll find the Abandoned Beast elsewhere. I envision a small, black kitten in a seriously locked down cell. I also envision meeting Ajax first, rubbing about the lower levels, just as confused as I am. Lyra would be sulking in her cell, self-loathing until coaxed out. Alva would be on the higher levels, collecting an undead horde.

I usually don’t like taking two posts for my builds, but at the very least I want to expand on how the choice of a Lilu bloodline works well with many of my Blessings and Complications. I think Power of Friendship, Dreamwalker, Deviated Form, Finger-Licking Good, and Doomsayer all work together for an ancient bloodline that’s all about forming bonds, seduction in more than just a sexual sense, and, speaking of seduction, utilizing sex as a two-way RE refinement process that filters and purifies the energy back and forth like a dialysis machine. Amended my build a bit. I added quite a few complications, but I believe that the additional blessings are worth it.

Third Eye + Seventh Sense make it a lot easier for me to avoid trouble in the first place, Jade Beauty + Deceitful Trickster + Mastermind + Communication Expert means I can easily manipulate people and talk my way out of bad situations, and Totem of rebirth + Heaven-Blessed + Unbound Causality make me incredibly slippery when things get bad. I considered taking Lowly Junior, but Lonely + social blessings + disguises should give me plenty of false identities and covers to prevent big shots from showing up and killing me.
I've also swapped condensation array for market ticket. The Ticket is much more useful for a much longer time, and I can take full advantage of it with Merchant's Guile.
