Legos have too much identity as legos. Its hard to imagine it as my game and not as lego: my game

I keep thinking batman is going to show up or about yoda crushing his cock with a rock

I would like a gorillion dollars and also the super power from the old Lego cartoons where they can build something and then demonstrate it works; super fast. A PC has fallen in the water in Lego city? Not today, death. Not today.

Lego has become too grey and monotonous. I want weird set lines like bionicle and colorful, wacky settings like pirates, astronauts, and knights all existing in the same setting. I hate what lego has become.

When we were kids, me, my brother and my friend each had our own Lego kingdom, and we tried to make a wargame out of it at one point. The wargame was dogshit of course.

I recently went on a Lego nostalgia trip, and I would fucking love to play an OSR-style game with the aesthetics of the old Castle sets.

This is the superior version of your game. And I don't mean that as a dig. Every single item has been made superior when lego does a version of it.

Calling them "Legos" is the verbal equivalent of holding cutlery in fist stance.
Are any of the chinesium knock offs any good? There's some good guides for /tg/ mini builds online, but it would still cost a fortune to buy the bricks required.
Real shame they stopped targeting regular kids and went down the GW route of targeting manchildren with disposable cash.

Luckily classic Castle gets a bit of love in the higher end Adult market, but it's a pretty penny.

Lego Canon is BEST CANON!

>>96892818
>Are any of the chinesium knock offs any good?
Well yes and no...
Lego Quality took a bit of a hit entering into Chinese production, but that also means the Knock-offs are almost literally the same molds with the serial numbers filed off.

Mah nigga.

My brothers and I each collected one of the old space sets from that era. One had the Space Police, one had Ice Planet (pic), and I had Blacktron (at least I think that's what it was called. I don't think we ever tried to make a game with formalized rules though; we just did the typical kid thing of "I blast you with super beam" "nuh-uh, I block you with super shield" "nuh-uh".

To this day I still think Lego has yet to top the aesthetics of that era.

Would have probably been Blacktron II (AKA Blacktron Future Generation), White body with black arms and a great big green "B," right?

Lego tried to recapture the magic of Ice Planet 2002 with Nexo Knights, but it only lasted 2.5 of its three years...

And you can get those kinds of Mini-builds from Menards.

That looks shockingly similar to the "8-in-1 Aircraft Carrier" set I'm building right now, if it had the "BrIcK bLoCkS" branding I'd assume it was from the same line.

I'd be cautious though, it doesn't look like any of those ten mini-builds are more than a dozen pieces at most, so if it's over twelve bucks USD you'd probably get a better deal via Bricklink/Pick-a-Brick.
Can't tell if those are printed parts or just stickers, some of the details are on the combined model but others I can't find.
That's also an issue with these Combiner sets, you might end up with awkward mini-builds to fit pieces of the Combined set or vice-versa.

Yeah, the Mech Suit design they shove every Superhero and Star Wars character into these days originated from Nexo Knights second year.
They even put those Mech Suits into a larger Mech Suit.

Yeah, they were all Black with transparent Yellow and the Triforce as their symbol, opposite Futuron (The first Monorail guys) and later Space Police I.

I've been considering using LEGO for Mordheim, or other campaign-focused miniature skirmish games. The modularity makes WYSIWYG easily achievable despite constant equipment changes, and the cost isn't an issue for me as I already have massive bins of the stuff from my childhood.

I do have friends. Only not the type that would play tabletop with me. And also, the placenta guy is a good barometer to test out people. If their reaction to the guy is as kneejerk and visceral as your rejection of him, then i know you suck. But if they adore the guy and think hes some sort of genius or whatever i also dont want anything to do with them. Lastly, him killing euronymus and being a nazi are, in my book, redeeming factors. Those were pretty cool. Ironically when I found them in the stores I skipped the dragonborn as there were several. I wasn't a huge fan of the head sculpt. Turns out it's the most collected due to the unique armor. I have the Lady, Tasha, Szass, Strahd, couple elf bards and a couple halfling druids. Szass wound up being my favorite because, hell, who doesn't want a translucent red skull?

Back in the glorious pre-2025 days it was possible to make Bricks and Pieces orders where you could purchase all kinds of minifig parts (mostly non-licensed). I army built from Nexo Knights despite not buying any of their sets but a few I found on clearance. But then came the tariffs and Lego has severely limited the number of pieces available in B&P even as prices have risen. Shit sucks all around, man. I don't give a shit about /pol/itics until it takes a massive shit on my hobbies and collecting.
