c20 features a 5dot ability to turn into monsters and even mix parts of monsters if you want but it's worded in a way that technically makes the ability not work

because you see you are meant to recreate the monster bits by using successes to buy traits but the traits are stated nowhere in the book (for example it tells you to buy a strenght trait but not how many dots that would be per success nor how much a fire breath would cost) and neither are the monsters the power refers to stated in the book and it also does not give refer you to any other book in fact the only thing the c20 corebook says is that you -probably- can't use the bygone bestiary (and even if there are no guidelines how many successes you would need for each monster because again the traits the power refer to just don't exist) because bygone dragons are different and more powerful than dreaming recreations of dragons

My character's band had a successful gig but the whole time at this Halloween festival there were odd angry flare ups between people (including our Theurge and the winner of a dog show) that didn't make sense until we went deeper than basic Penumbral Senses. Turns out there's a big Bane called a Dissonant Gestalt (new to 5E AFAIK https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Dissonant_Gestalt ) dumping motes of negative spiritual energy over the festival goers.

There's also an interloping pack of Garou from the neighboring sept that we have to decide if we're going to ask for help since they're violating our territory.

The Skysingers change is stupid. Fianna is a cool name, Skysingers just isn't. And their choices for the three NA tribes are bad for the simple fact that they're not memorable or cool. I've been casually following the project for a bit, I'll read it when it comes out but I don't feel like I'll like it. Splitting the Nation, in what feels to me a separation of "leftwing" and "rightwing" tribes, kills a major draw to the setting in that all these disparate and radically opposed groups had to work together. I read one of the writer's takes on the Bone Gnawers, that they see them as people who would organize union protests, and I just don't know if they get what's interesting about the Garou and the tribes. The answer to W5's "the fight is lost, now die in a non-disruptive manner" isn't activist wolves.

I think authors suck because they went out their way with arbitrary reasons for why playing as member of hunter organization was bad and wrong way to play (even though hunters hunted went out its way to flesh out big hunter organizations as what little advantage hunters have over beasties is numbers, and even imbued hunters had larger organization in Hunter-net), now they wrote way to play org hunter but not really, because orgs are all bad!
while new systems were cool, it didn't really offered anything new if you already had 2nd inquisition from V5, or Hunters hunted from V20 or even Hunters the Vigil.
Speaking of Hunter the Vigil it felt kinda bad for me, as some hunter orgs in H5 felt like they really really wanted to rehash Chairon group (which is funny as Chairon was already in sense playable Pentex, with its endowments were basically playable Famori lite, but still tried to lift more content from Hunter the Vigil.

A huge hulking gargoyle bodyguard dude & a petite Tremere witch. The witch has the latent Tzimisce blood merit that let's them have access to fleshcraft. The gargoyle has been modified to be hollow inside & his bones molded to be an exoskeleton. In combat she climbs inside him to be protected & uses metal powers/sorceries while he fights. He will have the huge size merit too. Of course, you guys would probably ask the obvious, maybe yes, they have sex like that too

Sidenote would it be weird for a gargoyle to learn koldun powers? It seems fitting for them so they could be better sentinels.

very to absolutely because blood sorceries can not be learned through diablery so you need to find one of the few dozens of kolduns that exists (yes the number is really that low) and have them agree to teach you and it's canon that the (camarilla) tremere know nothing at all about how koldunism works even in the final nights as it is the one blood sorcery they never managed to copy

She was a full on Setite cultist of the Hall of Jörmungandr, who embraced her during an overdose so she could be diablerized. I was very taken with Esperanza's lineage when I began to think up Poe's sire. All in all, Poe's sire is rather fond of him. Not just from the loyalty but the iron will she saw during the hazing. Eventually though, something from the Abyss caused the Queen to through several motions that amounted to settling her affairs. Some such about going home and how it might be several decades or more before she returns.
He vowed to keep the harbors running for her safe return but as the decades stretch on his worries eat at him. Causing him to delve into Abyssal mysteries to either find her trail or a manner in which he could reach her. Poe hasn't found one yet.

1e was following the same design template as VtR, with Contracts having 1-5 dot powers and so on. In 2E they took it in a different direction, with primary Contracts sorted into separate distinct powers under the Regalia, and each Seeming having one they get by default (Fairest have the Crown, Darklings have the Mirror, etc.) and you get to choose a second. Contracts are also either Common or Royal tier for Regalia and Court contracts. They also all have a Loophole that lets you avoid the Glamour cost, as well as Seeming-specific bonus effects.

Pledges have been significantly weakened and narrowed, which may or may not be appealing to you. HtVanon here, just trying to hash out a future plot point and I could use a hand.

One of my PCs, Duncan (a young old-money sort) was hospitalised for a week, but he was kept there far longer because a slasher, named Delilah, poisoned him to keep him in hospital. She used her charms and leveraged her wealth to have him kept in a private ward where she doted on him, under her misbelief that Duncan is just like her (she knows that he brained another slasher in the street). I've brushed over quite what happened in the full month that he was practically her prisoner, but it's being revealed piecemeal whenever he is suitable triggered.

My current plan is that Delilah has quite an infatuation with li'l Duncan, she's already taken a bit of a maternal role in their previous interactions, lightly chiding him, indulging him a bit etc. Duncan is a bit of a mothers boy, and during this month I'm thinking that Delilah decides that any misgivings he might have about his mother are enough to warrant her death, and that Duncan should be the one to pull the trigger. It'll set him free, allow him to live his best life (with Delilah as his new mother).

She's not the smartest person, she's gotten very far in life with just her charisma and looks, so it'd be fitting for there to be some clear flaw in her masterplan. But the flaw being "What if Duncan says no?" is a bit weak, I feel like the decision needs to be forced, thus the "X or Y, but not both" decision. But I don't know what to put in for Y. I did think about some Saw-like trap that endangers both her and Duncan, if he doesn't kill his mum. Then I can introduce some literal mechanical flaw in her plan that could be exploited. But then that feels a bit contrived?

What could I put in to make it all feel a bit more organic?

There's also the dilema of what can the rest of the party be doing while this is happening, but I'm sure something else will crop up, they're busy people.

If she just loves him I'd expect something more like presenting his mother's corpse. If you want to make it more organic perhaps add a line in to your player that he hasn't heard from his mother in a while and then the next session incorporate Delilah talking about her family.
It's a pretty interesting plot though if you want to incorporate an intelligence based flaw maybe have her drop a lot of hints as to where his mother might be to let him do an early rescue and then force her to physically confront him

So Duncan's mother has left town several months ago, she moved across the country for a fresh start in life. I figure that during his Misery-month, Duncan disclosed this and Delilah has travelled there to kidnap her and bring her back. The absence is what's allowed Duncan to escape the hospital.

An idea just suggested to me by my lovely and wonderful girlfriend. Rather than a plan that endangers Duncan or Delilah, both options endanger his mother but in different ways. Duncan is given two choices.

Both would have some means of disrupting the plan, once I decide and codify it a bit I can put a flaw in the method. I do like this option because it's absolutely monstrous, very edgy and it also stacks the deck in Delilahs favour since she'll win Duncan's heart both ways (obviouisly). She sees him as basically a closeted Slasher, and she wants to set him free.

Hey there Delilah has kidnapped the mother & wrapped her in bandages. No way to really tell who is under there, mouth gag so they cant talk. Delilah asks Duncan to kill this "random" person. W5 should have actually played into the "Apocalypse happened" angle, and said that all the former Garou died in one last battle. The new Garou are completely excised from what came before, not because oral traditions suck and there's no way any Garou can remember literally 10 years beforehand, but because everyone that could have told them were gone. It wouldn't have been a good setting, but it would've made sense.
