I think we overestimated the disposable income the Age of Sigmar fanbase had available. They had less money than we thought. The uh, the particular demographic we associated with Age of Sigmar has a lot of outgoing expenses. I don't know too much about this *exactly* but uh... hormones, surgical debt, preventative... there's this preventative medicine you can take for AIDS now... all of these things are quite expensive. And Age of Sigmar was overrepresented among the transgender community. It was the most popular wargame among the transgender community since its inception, we had the stats on that.

Well [laughs] we lost a lot of money. But ultimately I do think it was a blessing in disguise. And that led to the biggest ever launch of what is now our biggest *ever* game in 2025.

Not really. CoS is effectively an all new army range while Seraphon is just a refresh that uses half old models without any issues. Not surprising at all that CoS is getting reinforcements to bring them up to a decent standard, especially given that they are also the designated human army and central to the setting.

You're playing nighthaunt, all the models are 99% the same thing. You should be able to easily kitbash a proxy by using one of the generic sword wielding ghosts and giving him a staff and voila, wizard. You don't even need the sword one, either. You could just go on ebay, find someone selling some of the bits you need for $5 and make it yourself. Nighthaunt is the easiest faction to kitbash your units for and even if you don't and you use a random other model as a proxy, the person your playing against probably won't be able to tell the difference.
