Kinfolk can have Renown and even in Kinfolk book (both 2e and W20) has Background that confers you some dots in Renown. There's a whole chart of Kinfolk Renowns, but Garou Nation almost doesn't confer Renown to Kinfolk and the minimun slip is enough of a excuse for Garou to strip away those tiny Renown dots your Kinfolk got with ten times the effort Garou gets Renown.

However, I think the garou being monogamous has more to do with the fact that they usually take after the customs of whichever region they’re living in at the time, and most of the tribes (especially the more traditionalist ones) are from Europe, which is mostly monogamous societies (with varying degrees of acceptance towards side affairs or concubines) even before christianity got big there

Yes, it's a World Of Darkness. But generally the opposition is the Darkness(tm) and you're usually playing as something that, while touched by it, is not overtly, entirely evil. That's why Humanity 0 vampires, barring circumstances, revert to the ST, going all the way back.
And I know that the EVERYTHING IS FUCKED, HAHA is a sort of keystone to the WoD's end-times fixation, grown out of what it became, but I still feel it's more the pragmatic avenue to deal with the shit rather than to accept or become the shit.

In my mind, I prefer Garou being a mix for reasons of:
1. They still have preferences on what type of romantic relationship they wanna engage with;
2. Fera DNA, which is recessive, must be spread as much as they can and so they go on multiple relationships. Normaly one-night stands because as by the book majority of kinfolk are still stray. Lineages of kinfolk families within Garou Nation are rare.
So Garou (and Fera in general) can be non-monogamous without any difficulty. They can have a partner and still fool around from time to time, or simply have multiple partners to saciate their needs (which is the basis of any relationship). Children of Gaia and Black Furies are good examples for that.
Even Gurahl who have a "breeding rite" for finding a partner is just based on "my DNA and my partner's DNA are the best combination to produce the best child and possible future Gurahl", without any real love involved.

Lilith has the same issue Caine does where her response to trauma is to slink off somewhere and sulk for thousands of years, rather than actively doing something. So all her potential followers just end up useless even if they're obsessed with her, or useful but scheming behind her back. I'm running a game on an improvised system with heavy WoD setting/fluff considerations, with the players getting "Isekai'd" into a place in the Umbra cultivated specifically to send Sleepers, give them the experience of magic and how it can work, potentially Awaken them in the process, then at the end of the "story" as its presented, give them a recruitment bid into the Traditions to help improve their numbers.

The base notion is "Magic has been waning in this fantastical world lately for some reason, you outsiders have been brought here to restore it to prominence," but I'm having a bit of trouble trying to figure out what sort of places to build up around the other spheres besides Prime (Main Antagonist has been establishing a pseudo technocratic paradigm using Prime to diminish Magic as a whole where he can reach, otherwise reforming the world into mundanity.)

I've already got the notion of a former major Trade Hub as a place for where the lack of Correspondence magic has diminished the quality of life and circumstances.

Not gonna bother to try and recall everything I took from recent media, but one that sticks out to me is I adapted the hand that lets you get possessed from 'Talk to Me' (decent horror movie) as the focus object of a Spectre Cult.
And for a Demon game, I adapted the type of demon from Smile and It Follows which propagates itself through some method to further hosts and doesn't quite manage to completely possess people.

There's also the situation with the fruit of knowledge, did adam and eve even need to eat the fruit in the first place for that knowledge? Yes, Theft of Vitae only takes blood &,does no overt damage, but it leaves you weak as a mortal & me with all your delicious vitae. You now frenzy. I then use Blood Rage & force you to spend vitae you don't have, & THAT does aggrivated. Or I just let my ghoul handle you since your not much of a threat anymore. No boosted attributes, no healing, no disciplines that cost blood.
