>Pokepla skipped Kyogre for Mega Fug
Legends Z-A influence?
>Still waiting for Select Garchomp single
>No USA Tyrantrum Epic release
>>11448419Jazz Garchomp single isn't happening for the US. Just stop lying to yourself.
>>11448793Same for Entei/Flygon in Canada. What a disaster from this line.
>>11448802distribution is a disaster and has just gotten worse over time. But thankfully the horrible more recent figures are easier to find in stores!
>>11448410 (OP)We gettin Blokees Venusaur and Blastoise?
>>11448414Perhaps but they'll probably still make Kyogre eventually. I have a feeling they'll make a Deoxys too with how it's related to Rayquaza and everything.
why did they stop making d arts figures
>>11448922Because Nintendo wanted to abruptly pivot after Blaziken didnโt do super well, probably.
>>11448410 (OP)What the fuck is that picture from OP?
>Ali Sprigatito crushed in the mail
Guess Choice doesn't always mean better.
>>11448923What RE-MENT set is that
>>11448923>Because NintendoNintendo didn't make those. Bandai did.But sales were bad (no surprise since they did Mega instead of regular Blaziken) and then the large Pikachu nobody wanted killed the line.
Mega-Evolutions are one of those products that generally sell well. It's the 1/12 format that's not in great demand and that's mainly responsible for this drop.
Any other range has shown that it can survive worse than this.
>>11448972In fact, the merchandising is managed by The Pokemon Company, which is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creature Inc.
The Pokemon Compagny gives rights to various companies such as Bandai, Tomy, etc. The Pokemon Compagny gives rights to various companies such as Bandai, Tomy, etc. to produce Pokemon items, which generally have to follow current events (in particular the anime, the games and the instructions given to them).
It has to be said that some of the people here aren't very bright.
>>11448972So retarded that you're just as wrong?
>>11449110Christ, just visit the pokemon website, you dumdum.
Anyone who's been in the fandom for a while knows this.
>>11448970I'm glad we got Mega Blaziken. I blame Tomy USA for not supplementing it with a regular Blaziken, or even vice versa
Opinions? Tox is one of my fav mons
>>11449392Oversized, but the only articulated one. It does what's expected, but not the pose on the box. I prefer the Battle Action one for scale.
>>11448948Seems I got refunded for it.
Now I got a Sprig with a large scar on its face.
>>11448956The tea set are pokemon centre minis, not re-ment I think. I got them off suruga-ya some time ago
>>11448970My bad, I conflated Nintender too much with TPC who are very autistic about what merch gets made. I really liked that Blaziken honestly but the giant pikachu was truly a choice.
>>11449392Don't. The articulation doesn't really work and the arms are the most limited. Plus its massive next to all the other figures which is dumb.
>>11449647It's not stupid, Jazwares doesn't care about scales because it's not a scaled line. Also, a lot of consumers don't seem to care about scale.
>>11448819I've not seen anything in a long time up North.
>>11449672>not a scaled line>scaled for battleThey're scaling something.
>>11449672they pretend this is a collectors line but don't scale anything with eachother in the line, don't make articulation points that work, and half the time the base has defects and won't attach to the figure either. This line is run by a bunch of idiots. There's a reason why nobody reviews this line and they don't sell.
People on discord found the next select 6" too. Armarouge. So the next wave might be that, Noivern and Gallade
>>11449683Whereas there are almost no 4"5s with any scale (a good proportion are close to 1/20 or have nothing to do with it at all).
In Epic, Solgaleo, Lunala and Gyarados are explicitly close to 1/20. Lugia has no scale, Skeledirge is too big, Tyrantrum a bit small.
Select has countless aberrations, including Lucario, Toxicitry, Cinderace, Gallade, Zerarora, Ceruledge and Greninja.
Even 3 โs like Kabutops, Gastly and Haunter don't feel so good. Even the smallest Pokรฉmon such as Ninjask, Blitzle, Tyrunt (I'm too lazy to look them all up) are clearly inadequate.
And yet I've only dealt with the big ones, without taking into account the inaccurate approximations, which are much more discreet.
>>11449690Don't think I'll get any of those 3, unless Noivern's somehow really good.
Got the plamo for Armarouge and blokees might get to it too, and Select Gallade just looks atrocious.
>>11449715I'm the same. Those next 3 all look bad for various reasons. Armarouge will be too tall for my other stuff just like Ceruledge was. Blokees will probably make one and we have other options for it too. Noivern didn't have any joints in the legs which kills my interest in it. And Gallde just looks so fucking ugly and is superrrrr tall.
>>11449690This guy looks so off without his armor parts. Regardless of how these 3 next ones looks I wasn't too interested in the pokemon selection this round so hopefully some ones I like next round. The Hoenn starters, Blastoise and Feraligatr are high on my list. I think Feraligatr has a good shot with ZA now.
>>11448922>>11448970The D-Arts/Figuarts stuff never seemed to do well, even the original starters and Mewtwo sat discounted on Amiami for a long time back when they were released, before eventually becoming more sought after on the aftermarket. You're also forgetting they also tried doing Ash and Team Rocket, before pivoting to the giant Pikachu years later. They were clearly experimenting to see what would sell and the answer seems to have been nothing.
Goodsmile had the same problem with the Nendoroids and Figmas. Their just doesn't seem to be a huge market for an actual adult collectable line.
Honestly if you are strictly collecting for the scale and don't like scale world you are just wasting your money buying jazwares horrid shit. As of right now I just decided to ditch any scaling and just go with colllecting the best articulated toys I can find quality wise, basically reducing the scope to blokees and old imports. If Jazwares ever decides to make another figure as good as flygon then I'd buy that but all their most recent toys look like shit
>>11450263This isn't 1999 anymore. Back in the first moncolle and hasbro age, we didn't always have a choice. We wasted money on no-scale toys because it was all they had. Sometimes things were rare just because.
>>11450159>>11450263>>11450283>Their just doesn't seem to be a huge market for an actual adult collectable line.Maybe Pokรฉmon fans want actual real Pokรฉmon to hug and prefer plushies for this reason duh

>TheirDid you mean "There" ? learn the difference and speak properly for once in your life
>>11450159i thought teh figma line was mishandled when it came to character selection. The first couple did well enough for them to do more and then it died. I would have liked to have seen Misty, Cynthia, Blue/Green, Ethan/Gold.
>>11450617Lillie and Raihan were mistakes
>>11450753Just Raihan. To even shelfwarm in the US as a PC-exclusive.
>>11450617A long lasting line from figma is a bit of an uphill battle to begin with, they usually make a few then stop. Compared to say Yugioh they made 4 where as Pokemon got 6. Just wish the selection was better with Red being the only old character.
Figma is a dead end for pokemon figures, they are way too expensive for what they are. Pokemon right now is in a better spot for toys, Im sure that new sh figuarts would sell well if they do popular characters instead of shilling stuff from the newer games
>>11450772No, we should've gotten big hair Rirrie-chan instead
>>11450263It tells the truth about Poorwares products
>>11450772TPC were probably banking on his fujo popularity, but to do that you would also need to make the guy they ship him with, and also deal with the fact fujos donโt often think of Figma when they want merch of their faves and market to them specifically.
>>11452152Maybe Jazwares will make one since they have Phanpy coming soon
>>11452152The ones that got 2 forms were pretty lucky.
>>11448419Same
Well for the second one
>>11448414Fug is probably the second most shilled legendary after Mewtwo. They'd probably like to shill Arceus even more judging by Legends Arceus, but it's hard to just cram him into everything without ruining the mystique and making people realize it's just a llama stuck in a hula hoop, so Fug gets the spot. A cool dragon remains a cool dragon no matter how overexposed it is.
>>11452152Someone at Game Freak clearly agrees. He's not one of my favorites but he's an iconic Johtomon and it's nice to see him get the glow up. Both his paradox pals have cool designs.
>>11449690>>11449691please please please be a Garchomp wave too
>>11452849can't unsee the booba
Been playing pocket and having fun with the Buzzole deck from the latest set. Hope it gets some love from the figure people in the near future. Maybe someone working in Japan or at Jazwares became an UB enjoyer from pocket.
>>11453598One of the greatest and toy-friendly designs for a Select or Epic too. Guzzlord would also work
>>11448419>>11448802Metagross over here bros.... I refused to get that three pack in target that was more expensive and also significantly shittier.
>>11450263the Selects started out so much better. Charizard, Rayquaza, the Birds was an awesome start. Then it just went to shit. I liked Tyranitar more than most people, hes the last one I got. Flygon seems to have been good, but just didn't have interest in him. I think the consensus is that the winged/flying characters are significantly better than the others.
>>11453722But Metagross actually looks great in sparkle deco. Only thing im mad about is that I bought regular Beldum and Metang for nothing
>>11453598the guy who makes the checklists is a big Buzzwole fan and always requesting it on the discord. I think it would be a fun figure if they made it big enough. Like Rillaboom epic sized bit with longer legs.
>>11453722>the Selects started out so much better. Charizard, Rayquaza, the Birds was an awesome start. Then it just went to shit. The line is so bad now. Every single figure aside from maybe Mega Charizard has been really bad. Its like they don't even try. Whoever is working on all the recent figures needs to leave and never come back to this line
>>11453851Oh that's cool didn't know that. Hopefully it does get made one day, it's not like the most unreasonable ask. We're at a point where Tyrantrum and Golurk tier popularity mons are getting in.
>>11453855They really remind me of OLD Jazwares. Sideways elbows for everyone, but even with one guy getting frontways elbows, they still arent on swivels.
>>11453907Pretty much. These recent figures and those old jazzwares ones from many years back feel like they are made by people who don't understand articulation at all.
>>11453855The Mega Charizard isn't great. He has obvious marks on the plastic (face and belly).
>>11454139the seams? any hollowed out figure parts will have a seam. The direction the seam is in is what allows the joints in there to work.
Blokees replacement parts update.
The parts Gundamit sent me arrived today.
They shipped me both arms for Meowscarada and Ceruledge. That's one way to make sure you get the right one.
>>11453598I wouldn't say no to more UBs ! I could do with a Pheromosa, Guzzlord, Kartana and Stakataka.
>>11454139he also has that huge hole on his belly. That makes me uncomfortable
>>11454146In fact, the head is not hollow and has some unattractive marks that have no justification whatsoever. Selling it, on the other hand, is, even if I think the mark could have been placed elsewhere.
I didn't mention it, but I'm having trouble with its wings. I'd have preferred it to be the same soft material as the shape-keeping tail. Because the wing joints are really obnoxious from an aesthetic point of view and don't really allow for anything interesting.
And Charizard X hardly ever folds its wings when it flies.
It has a good scale and interesting articulations. But in other respects, it's not very well designed. It could have been better.

>>11454174Kinda sad they didn't do all of them. Pheromosa being a stick might've looked a little off in this line but the rest would've been fine. Moncolle didn't do them all either.
>>11454510Yeah, unfortunately there's been some let-up with the 7th generation.
As for Pheromosa, I can imagine her with her hair covering the whole figure. Then they sculpt the body over the shape of the hair, a bit like Celesteela with her neck
>>11453507Like a lil bikini
>>11453855Gollisopod was great
Flygon was great
Tyranitar is Good
Samurrot is Good
Deoxys is good
It really is hit or miss.
Got the keepley? ash greninja finally. Now I wish I got Cinderace too. It isn't perfect but it's good enough honestly
>>11448927Lord Fug visiting his friend Abareru-kun on Pokenchi.
>>11454938Golisopod is only so so. Joints at the base of the shoulders and elbows should have been done different so they had better range. They don't understand which types of joints to use as usual.
Samurott and Ttar are very limited in range too. Ttar can't really help it tho due to his design. Flygon and Deoxys are the only pretty good ones on your list

This Komala plush is singlehandedly one of my favorite stuffed toys of all time. I'm not particularly into stuffed toys because I'm more than picky about these things, but the execution of this one is more than exceptional. Its a great size, so you won't be losing it in your blankets, and it's soft enough to actually cuddle. It's shaped like it wants to be held. It's a perfect plush to be a sleeping companion, and the cheery on top is that it's literally sleep-themed. absolutely delightful.
>>11455737>UKTyrantrum all over again
>>11456519Duh. You knew it would happen. The epics haven't hit retail in the states since Rillaboom like 3 years ago.
They deserve the master license at this point
>>11448802havenโt seen mega zard or cinderace here either. more figures weโll miss out on. fuck jazwares and their shitty distribution.
>>11450617cynthia and dawn wouldโve sold well but i guess they were forced to make sword and shield characters nobody cares about
>>11457398Guesses for L wave 2? Blastoise, Cinderace, Lucario, and Armarouge is my guess. I wonder what the holdup is.
>>11457565Safe guesses. Mewtwo is also one that could be subbed for any of those 4.
>>11457053tell me that smegma is jazwares please
>>11457607I'd expect Mewtwo when we get an S Mew, but then again, we still don't have Froakie and Charcadet wasn't in wave 1. I wonder if we might get XLs at some point.
>>11457828>Bandai Kids.eewww
>>11457398How big is the Squirtle/Bulbasaur next to the Figma figurines?
>>11460234They're same height as these.
Slowpoke as Psyduck.
>>11448414>stop by literally just to see if the kyogre kit is being made yet>see first postkyobros not like this...
>>11457565Ash-Greninja. Apparently they still love that form over there. Source is Keepley and "various" bootleg mobile games
>>11460697I was under the impression Ash-Greninja was sorta getting buried from a larger franchise perspective but I guess the China side is different. Like how they got rid of the form is SV and that shot in the anime where it got replaced by the regular form.
Going on off a tangent but I think the idea is the mega Greninja that's gonna be in ZA is basically gonna replace it. We know there was a Z version that got shelved and the anime did a Z arc. The intention was probably to use mega Greninja that was going to be in Z for Ash's story line but the game got shelved. So the ran the same story but with an anime exclusive Ash form. But now with ZA the actual mega is gona take the spotlight and the Ash form they'll juss stop using it.
>>11448410 (OP)- Blokees: Non-scale action figures (assembly required)
I just want they making model kit for the pokegirls
>jizzware
Gross, donโt understand how anyone can buy their garbage. Japanese, Chinese, or bust
>>11462053I like it when you talk in the language of facts. Based
>>11462053I mean where I could find a golisopod that is not a mini figure with awful sculpt or a magnemite that is not and outdated tomy figure worth $40 + shipping or a damn gachapon from a obscure rement set. Jazwares has plenty of figures that imports don't care to make or reissue
>>11462147It's true that we don't talk enough about Charizard Select's horrible sculpture. It's so ugly.
You're going to use Golisopod as an example, which is one of the few things that stands out. And let's not forget that Japanese products offer infinitely more Pokemon.
Of course shipping costs are high, it's like that everywhere. If I want to buy a Jazwares product from the USA, not living in that country, I'm going to get ruined too. That's absolutely not an argument
Above all, Jazwares is unable to offer proper distribution of its products in the country. Who wants to pay $100 for a Tyrantrum with obvious manufacturing defects, inferior materials and poorly managed articulation potential? And when Jazwares reissues, it's always the same crap
>>11462173The moncolle line hardly updates with anything good after their gen starts. A lot of small pokemon that benefit from it just don't get released. This is also their mass retail line compared to the others
TT Arts is only sometimes better
Rement exists, but then you have to buy the displays they're glued to
Bandai Kids can be useful if the design works, and it very rarely works
What they all have in common is that they don't do bigger toys for the bigger boys, and various smaller mons rarely get anything despite small size being a focus
>>11462210Who cares about your 1/12 scale. It's just a utopia
>>11462362Never even mentioned 1/12. Big mons should still have Big toys, and vice versa
>>11462371Just three d print them it's 2025
>>114623743D printing is "PC gaming but for toys". You have to spend like $3000 just to work on something to get what you want
>>11462380You can get good resin printers these days for under $175. You can get an entire printing setup including all other supplies for under $275 and begin printing using free modeling software. Many people do it. Im not sure why there aren't people in the Pokemon space who are doing it
>>11462388>Im not sure why there aren't people in the Pokemon space who are doing itbecause you have to spend like $3000 just to work on something to get what you want
>>11462388>>11462390I've watched Jaiden animations, pokefags just want plushies and video games
>>11462390Oh yeah, look at all those options that are $3000
>>11462404You're not mentioning the ink and paint we'll need from all the bad sculpts and material
>>11462431>inkIt's called resin, dummy. Again, not expensive. Paints? You can even use the $1 per bottle paints from the craft store if you thin them enough and seal it afterwards, if you really don't want to buy the nicer model paints that are $4 per bottle.
>>11462371You involved him indirectly with your stories of little Pokรฉmon in little figurines. Which you often use in 1/12 scale.
And no, I don't want to have 10 figures and run out of space.
>>11462437There, now you mentioned resin, which is fragile.
>>11462458What the hell do you think a resin printer prints with? Many are not fragile anyway, but you are so dead set on believing whatever you want to believe, you'll never accept the truth.
>>11462388>Im not sure why there aren't people in the Pokemon space who are doing itThere are a few sellers on AliExpress who sell printed figures. They are mostly filament prints although they do have some pretty tight tolerances so the layer lines aren't too noticeable.
3d printed stuff never look like legit toys, they always have a bootleg-ish feeling to them. I want TOYS not handicraft projects with untested longevity
>>11462053I too demand my products be fragile and overpriced as only slanteyes can make them!
>>11462526Me too. Some artists are talented, but having a 3d printed figure that was hand painted is never going to be the same as a figure that a toy company made. It'll always look a bit out of place together.
>>11462467So you're telling me that there isn't really a better material. Maybe if /toy/ actually bothered to show said toys, you'd actually have a truth to tell. Where's 3D print general anyway? Where are all the makers, and just as much where are all the consoomers that once roamed BST? Nowhere, because 3D printing is still an overpriced joke
>>11457565>Blastoise>>11457607>MewtwoI hope, throw in Venusaur and I'm good.

>>11462691>unless my search is brokenYours is broken. But I'm Europe, so maybe they're still blocking US.
>>11462745You have to tell that to the morons who always feel obliged to denigrate other people's publications, as soon as it's Scale World, Bandai Kids or Moncolle that don't fit into their 1/12 niche criteria.
Is there anyone around selling mini pokeballs in bulk? Like around figma Red's size, not the tiny ones Selene/Gloria/etc come with.

Not sure about Keepley but maybe you'd be interested in this sofubi. It's listed at 15cm.
>>11463636The official sizes never made sense desu. Even the anime lacks consistency.
>>11463659Yeah I dont care about pokedex sizes I go by vibes. Mewtwo is humanoid so he should smaller than a dragon or a turtle monster
>>11462949fuck that, they need to complete gen 2 and 4 gym leaders and give us something from gen 5, it's dry af for gen 5 fans
Wave two of the small ones and the quality of the plastic and the printing feels like it's improving already. This Slowpoke tho I'd consider the blandest of them all until now just because it's on a eternal sit position and cannot move the mouth at all, very little articulation with this one and has a repeated effect piece (amnesia) but even with that the figure has a great look and feel to it. If only they had put an alternative piece for making the classic pose in four legs

I find the size of Pokรฉmon Home and Scale World inconsistent for Rayquaza. Why is Onix, who is slightly taller than him in the dex, just giant, while Rayquaza is not? Even Gyarados, who is slightly smaller than him in the dex, is much bigger, even though he's like a snake.
I think the size of the ORAS Pokedex is much more representative of reality.
In my opinion, this is one of the few Pokรฉmon in the Scale World range that failed to convey dimensions properly.
I'd recommend Plamo or Select Rayquaza for 1/20 scale.
size
md5: 9de4c8897ae845d25ed4f7ef4d11b20e
๐
The Home size is right it just looks small cause he's curled. At 7m length he's exactly the height of 2 Groudon stacked on top of each other. Using the image of the straight Rayquaza and stacking 2 Home Groudon next to it shows the Rayquaza from Home is the same size when you match the size of the heads, segments etc. Sometimes it's hard to mentally visualize how long something really is when it isn't straight.
New pokemon figures announced by TT, look neat. Shellformers of the paldea starters into their final forms and pichu into pikachu only 1980 yen, may get all 4.

>>11470886Reminds me of the digivolving digimon toys. Wonder if it's a one and done or they plan on doing more.
>>11470885>>11470937disgusting. the digivolvers aged like milk too, and i thought the industry learned from that. But If it weren't for the fact that we have good toys already, id be angry.

So basically Final Forms folded inside Starter Kinder Eggs, gotcha.
>>11470502No, it's not correct. Just compare an Onix figure to Rayquaza. It's not just a case of being inward-looking.
You've got one that's gigantic in terms of its limbs, such as its head, and the other that's undersized, even though they're supposed to be close in size, while measuring each other like snakes. So even if Onix positioned himself like Rayqauza, it wouldn't work, precisely because Rayqauza is undersized.
Groudon is 3.5m tall when he's standing up straight, not when he's bent over
>>11471017I bet you would call any toy bad just because is "nOt sCAlEd >:((" digivolving spirits have always been a great toy, the most modern ones were great too
>>11471147>digivolving spirits have always been a great toy, the most modern ones were great tooHead wings are bad and outdated toy design. I only loved FatMetalGreymon because we had no choice til Amplified came out. The only mons that benefitted from either version were Diaboro, AtlurKabuteri and Digmon because they retain their regular designs without off-putting kibble
Love Blokees Bulbasaur, great matte finish, articulation gets you some fun poses, also for people obsessed with 1:12 scale it is pretty much the gigantic frog he's supposed to be
>>11471130They blurred it during transformation. That's just suspicious
>>11472179I like how he says the pokemon names tho
>>11472179I think they just wanted to obscure the part where the shell gets put to the side. That or they don't want people examining the transformation process and want to keep it as something you experience when you try it yourself.
Has everyone gotten their Blokees replacement parts in?

>>11463153I just have it for collection I got it 11 years ago on amiami for 20 bucks, the best on is easily blokees
Moncolle used to be the coolest toyline ever. They used to be gloss-coated and had a good selection of the little guys. Now it's just terrible and forgets what generation it's on
>>11475439Mega's because of Z-A, other because anime/SV.
>>11475439I got the Tatsugiri and liked how they gave us all 3 in 1. But yea wish there would be more new releases in general.
Here's June's checklist update. Another month of hardly anything Jazwares related happening.
June releases were only:
-Carry Case Battle Ruins Playset being in stock at Meijer's site and in stores
-Summer Holiday 2-pack wave in stock at some US Gamestops. This wave may be just two packs instead of the usual three. (Pikachu/Marill and Charmander/Carvanha)
>>11475439>Moncollewhere can I buy these?
>>11475844type into google, hit enter, boom.
>>11475849thank you chat gpt but I need human interaction
>>11475862You'll only find them in Japanese stores or maybe some small model shops.
>>11475884that's disappointing, thx
>>11475888Just buy them online. Why is that such an issue?
>>11475894don't wanna buy from scalpers
>>11475895Buy direct from a retailer then. Why are you so neurotic?
>>11475895You cant get them from hlj or amiami tho
>>11476012Holy fuck. What next? It can't be delivered by an airplane with a specific color? Just buy the fucking things from one of the multiple trusted sites that sell Moncolles. Both those sites do carry Moncolles btw
>>11475844You can find some in specialized shops. Those who sell japanese/anime figures or mangas. I managed to get some Scale world, moncolle, and some other brands (chocolate egg and capsule toys) that scale well with SW. They're just sometimes hard to find and not well known.
>>11477047>You can find some in specialized shopsThis nutcase doesn't want to use google to see what shops local to them carry the figures, "needs human interaction", yet is somehow okay buying from HLJ or Amiami
