Great pick, it's my favorite line so this makes me a bit of a shill.
I impulse bought Romankey Algar the dragon dude. It should arrive tomorrow, gonna do a photo with some Mythic Legions skellies to check if they fit together.

I wish for their reissue with fixed ankles, same with the main cast.
>>11450123
Thanks, from all the lines i got, this is my favorite. Not many people collect those so I like to share my display. I plan to expand it when I finish renovating my hobby room. I love classic Metal Slug designs so much.

>Wonder if they are planning General Morden or O'Neill in the future.
On December 6, 2023 Tunshi have teased O'Neill on their instagram. Hope the line sells well and continues, and wont be killed by the mecha and the camel. Those are really niche in already quite niche line, many will skip those, which makes me worried. As for now we have no photos of prototypes of what's coming next.

The Anya and Becky S.H.Figuarts. Barnes and Noble had one 30% off and all the meme faces sold me on them. I wish more figures came with this many.

Mine came with stains on her arms, seemingly from the dye in her clothing. Also her hips are horribly loose.

Close to zero range. You can only do minimal adjustments, It's a bummer because rest of the body has great articulation. Any dynamic pose requires a stand really. Later figs like Ralf and Clark have great ankles, Leona good. So they acknowledge the problem and try to mitigate it.

The individual Unkval from Sexyice, the moment I saw his articulation video I immediately paid in full in Gundamit. The bastard cost me 91 dollars and I was lucky the shipping was free.
He has arrived but I will be some time until I get him in my hands, oh well.

I had to keep myself from buying these after the mantis since I don't really have a place for them but that new bug man with the kick ass battle damage accessories is really tempting me.

Oh yeah, Manticora looks promising and the articulation will be great too. But the color is lacking, and I personally don't really care much for effect pieces. Still though, it'd be a great purchase if you have the money for it.

Props to the anon who pointed out Sentinel Changerion was on sale at Amazon last year for $75. I never watched(or heard of) the toku series before, but the design hooked me and while I didn't jump immediately, I kept an eye on until I buckled when one was left.
It's a very cool figure, the design embodies 90's toy trends in a perfect way(armor, chrome, transparent plastic, reminds me of my favorite toku and Beast Wars toys growing up). It got me to watch the show and it's cool, I'm a sucker for "unworthy" people getting powers,

This sucks, I hate when it happens, especially on expensive figures like this. Now I got 23 figures from them and only QC issues I had were broken accessories, hamfisted into the box, including a broken claw in the base. Two shirt buttons fell off. All those issues were with Rebel Soldiers.

It looks kinda weird with Mythic Legions as their proportions are more cartoony with bigger heads and stuff. Here he's lanky, more in far eastern style. Overall figure looks great and has quite nice artcualtion, but the ankles...

...are quite limited and actually fragile. I'm careful with my stuff, but here, I managed to break it almost right after taking it out from the box...
Anonymous No.11451928 [Report]
>>11451924
... I would be really pissed about this, but Romankey included spare parts in the box. 2 ankle pegs and 2 wrist pegs. So I managed to fix it in few minutes. Looks cool, like dragon form from Dark Souls, just needs extra care when it comes for handling.

>How much did these fuckers costs?
Never thought about that. I came quite late to the party so had to pay a lot of late tax. Had to buy from BBTS and ship them to EU, pay import taxes and ass-blasting shipping. I would'nt be surprised if I paid like 140 bucks per figure on average, including those 73 dollar prisoners. Now I'm up to date, buy stuff on premiere on Gundamit, so pricing doesn't hurt anymore.

Is it true you have to heat up her wrists and hands before swapping them? I've been doing it without heating them up and their fine. I don't see anything wrong with the joint.

Do you heat the hands when they're on the peg or off?
And I how do I loosen the thigh swivels? I think mine's ankles are in different directions but it may just be me.

>Do you heat the hands when they're on the peg or off?
Both. I extemd the arm and use hairdryer on hands that are already installed and ones i want to switch to.

Thigh swivels don't have that much range really. If they rotate and then get blocked then that's all they can do. I bought blank bodies for spares and to check how they work to not break them like I did with Algar.

>Is this really what the figures look like or is it a headswap?
Those are blank bodies made by Tunshi Studio and sold as Jet Studio for some reason. Those are the exact same bodies used in Metal Slug line. Same materials, same finsish. You can get one for spares or to make some customs. One costs 29.99. They have no heads, so you gotta put the ones you already have.
>>11460530
From my experience, I feel like there are more figs that require heating up than those that don't. Dragonborn Algar required heating his head to swap for example. Worst offender so far is Mythic Legions. All figs I got from them are really really stiff or just straight stuck, so I have to heat the joints before I can move them for the first time. But I mostly collect stuff from small companies. Only truly big one I have is Dragon Ball line from SHF, those don't require heating up.

I don't think so, on my setup she has that peg slighly exposed. It's brown so it blends nicely.
