Random but anyone else find Figma packaging to be kind of annoying? Like there is so much tape and plastic covers. Just feels like excess unnecessary waste. I also don't like how the accessories ziploc and stand are taped to the back of the plastic tray. I think some older boxes had a slot for those within the tray which was better.

A friend a mine went to Japan . There are released figma still in stores like but listed as PREOWNED . Amiami and mandarake jacks up the price alot of their figures and some of them has Security tags or locked up in a clear glass cabinet . Some of the newer releases arent even available at store ever since GSC changed their policy to make it PO Based orders , though my friend did see some Gendou Ikari figures when he went there

I got Other M suit 1st release because at the time it was the only super poseable action figure of her even if I didn't play Other M, for ZSS, I reasoned she is close enough to the Zero Missions ZSS and can be displayed with other Nintendo figures for a smash display, Prime version though, I didn't buy the first time as I didn't play the Prime series, I got her on the 1st reissue when Metroid Dread trailer was shown and I was itching for Metroid merch and she is the closest to the Super Metroid Varia suit so I got all 3 during their own initial prices

What I am trying to say(english isn't my native tongue) is that you can probably sell them at anytime you want in the future incase you don't want them anymore, prices now for the reissues has increased yes but its due to the economy we have now, they can release a figma prime 4 version but there is no guarantee it will happen, look at Zelda BotW, no figmoes and they went straight to its sequel

So you can get them now at their cheapest possible price or wait till they sell out again and be at the mercy again of high aftermarket price incase you really do want them

[spoiler]They are race called High Entia, who kinda like Elves (long lived, culturally advanced, uncaring about what happens outside of their domains). But the twist is that, unbeknownst they are actually living weapons created by the games final villain as they have a gene that turns them into mind reading dragon-like creatures called Telethia when the villain gives the signal. He uses them to wipe out all life in their world every few centuries so life doesn´t evolve to a point when they can escape him. This only affect pure-blooded High Entia though, those are product of crossbreeding with humas (like Eunie, the one who has the figma) don´t turn into Telethia, and those are the only High Entia left by the time Xenoblade 3 happens as all but one pure High Entie were wiped out during the climax of the first Xenoblade[/spoiler]

tried the hot water trick but didn't work
decided to forcibly pull it out and saw that it was stuck because the rim was caked with paint which was what's holding it in place

I just checked my Marcille bowl and it wiggles a little but seems to be stuck with paint too. Maybe I’ll try getting them separated some day. Guess these guys didn't have the best QC. I kind of disliked Marcille at first with how loose the joints on my copy were but I hit it with some kiki and now it's good and I actually like her a lot and she and Laios look great on display.

Heat up and you should be able to remove them off the joint. Knee is clipped on I think, which looks off from the back. So prolly fixable too.

thanks gonna try it, also had some issues with my Marcille where both her left arm and leg just popped out of their joints, but thats a combination of shaving off a bit of excess material on the shoulder joint (the one that pegs into her chest) and thickening the hip ball joint, still man the QC on these seems to be all over the place.

I was considering buying a 1/7 scale from them but I realized they'd be so slow and I've only bought from them once and it was in stock and I wasn't super impressed with their packaging so I'm going with a local seller instead since I can just do a small deposit, they pack super well and they actually show the proper eu release date.

GSCEU rant aside, my Laios is otherwise fine, theres some minor armor scruffs thats honestly nothing worth fussing over, it gives him character, and thankfully all his joints are fine, its just the kneepad and leg thats wonky, but I do hope Chilchuck and Senshi don't have that, I dread imagining getting a senshi with a scuffed eye.
