The people who do purchasing for retail are fucking stupid. Between Walmart continuing to order solid cases of Sonic and US Walmarts apparently ordering a truckload of Sega Wave 1 per store, the US never got any waves past the first. Not to mention all the Walmart exclusive lines like the Sonic with Spring and SEGA lines just got a price bump a few dollars higher.

I think the solid cases is US retail only. Walmart Target do it for various toylines including Jakks Sonic. The SEGA line just had a fuck ton of Wave 1 hit the US which prevented stores from getting anything more waves. I don't think Canada got as much Wave 1 so they've actually sold through all their stock.

Im kinda new to jakks pacific thanks to that DC crossover making me check the line and realize how many classic characters they made, it seems to me for the sake of scale the best is to get all my classic characters in 2.5 inches and then get the heavies, eggman, and modern characters in 4 inches, getting all the classic characters in 4 inches is tempting but i know sooner or later i’ll buy a modern character as part of a set, i hope they make the rest of the heavies im getting king later today
