.....I legit kinda hate it when they make huge 1:18 vehicles that only fit a single figure. I mean, I do love the Tie Interceptor, but as a toy it's an awful item as it's just so huge with so little actual play potential.

They need to do more stuff like the Imp Assault Tank or Troop Transport, that are big but can actually interact with multiple figures.

I'd definitely like to see something like a transport again. Like even though we don't have figures for it (yet), that bluish-green one that was used in Andor for the riot troopers on Ghorman would be a nice one to get just to load with whatever. I would even get a couple just to repaint one into a civilian version.

Probably the SHF but the Black Series one of fine too.

Are you talking about Delta Squad from Republic Commando? Not sure what you're asking here exactly. The Urban Combat armor is from Battlefront 2 (2017)

Also, as we're correcting things, I assume you meant to call me "Sweety", as calling me "sweaty" would imply I am perspiring a lot....which I am currently not as I have A/C in my house!

>>11463672
I know air based vehicles are huge in real life, but I always preferred my non-transport ships to be smaller as they're way easier to swoosh about. Even G.I. Joe jets and such like the Ghost Hawks and Firebats are more fun to play with then Sky Strykers, though the latter is far more impressive. Star Wars being Sci-Fi doesn't have to deal with realism though so smaller star fighters would work just fine while larger ships should be bombers and transports so they could fit multiple figures. Even something like the old ARC-170 Starfighter was cool because even though it's a large Starfighter, it had room for three figures giving it far more play value over something like the E-wing, which is similarly large but only fits one character. But I guess more fans care about "movie accuracy" rather then "fun toy features" these days, but I'll always be a "fun toy" first collector.

>>11463786
I'll be honest, I'll take those super simple, cheapo boxes over complex super plastic junk any day. I buy most stuff online and I don't keep the boxes, so outside of some exclusive/rare figures and sets, I really don't care what the box looks like. So the quicker...and quieter...I can get into the box and get my figures out the better.

The Force in general was a mistake. They could've just portrayed the Jedi as outdated relic of the republic, who got run over by "modern" highly organized Imperial clone soldiers and artilleries, similar to how the Polish cavalry got run over by German tanks in WW2. Instead the Force is powercrept in every movie into this catch-all grand magic that only select few could use, and a Force user could turn a tide of galactic war against fleet of stardestroyers. The Force can now be used for telekinesis, Zoom call, healing, enhanced reflex, and the force ghosts ensure characters never die and can always affect the story, creating plotholes any timeline beyond ROTJ (e.g, why didnt new republic employ force ghost obi wan as head anti-imperial spy, he can literally teleport anywhere, walk through walls, and disappear)

And we’ll never know. But based on his activities since 2005, he was done with Star Wars, anyway. Despite the talk that there were sequel β€œtreatments” Disney rejected, I doubt he had really spent much time on those. But if he had done sequels, I’d trust his vision way more than Disney’s: one limpdick remake and two nonsense moving pictures that somehow cost billions to make and market (poorly).

The swivel forearms are nice but I wouldn't say it's the best one. There's no knee or ankle articulation and the head looks derpy. Also backpack isn't right because it's based on the clone wars design.

But yeah it seems like they often forget about having better molds. Like the TVC super battle droid didn't have ankle joints even though they had one with ankles in legacy collection

>>11464478
I mean yeah. No one besides Hasbro is making extensive Star Wars toy lines with niche character looks. No KOs because generally those are made using molds of Hasbro figures. What's the problem though, those black series Mauls are good.

I just got my 4 packs today. The legs are so much better than before. I hope they update the arms next. I don't even think they need to be fully articulated, I just want to achieve a two handed weapon grip which I would be fine with a swappable set of arms for that since the arms are really easy to pop off at the shoulder on the TVC mold.

I can't bring myself to spend a dime on more b1s until the arms are functional, this trend of incremental changes is the single worst thing currently happening in TVC in my opinion, price shit is bad obviously but with how determined they are to keep ship-of-theseusing the scout trooper it feels like I'm not gonna see one I like more than the '06 release until at least a decade from now, and that's more unforgivable for me than anything else.

>>11464646
I totally agree, which is partially why I only bought two of these packs. I desperately needed some battle droids that can actually stand up because all the other ones I have besides my original TPM figures are the red Genndy Wars versions from when Walmart was selling them for like $5 a pop and the Gaming Greats release when that was going for cheap too. I was just getting sick of never being able to pose droids in any way besides lying dead on the ground. I'd fully welcome an all new B-1 along with new B-2's and Droidekas as well. It feels like CIS forces are very underrepresented in TVC with all new figures. Same with the Rebel Alliance.

Sideshow had a line of statues years ago called Mythos that depicted characters in off-screen scenarios. The Obi-Wan one was meant to be him between trilogies, with a desert wanderer look and an Alec Guinness-style head and carrying his Clone Wars gear with him. Since then that specific look has been called Mythos Obi-Wan, and they've gone on to do other stuff with that look. The costume even made it into the Obi-Wan show, it's what he wears at the very end.

Also a box of Young Jedi CCG which when I found out what some of them were worth made me seek out a box of the Decipher Inc CCG. The place is a bit of a gold mine if you find the right thing. I also got The Black Series Mandalorian and Boba Fett which Im keeping boxed. I actually brought more SW stuff this year than I have my entire life and I think it comes down using AI to playing an RPG and finding good scores.

Though this may change now that they renewed because Star Wars is not nearly as valuable as it was when they originally signed with Disney and then reupped it a few years ago. People are speculating that's why there was a big push to get new versions of the ANH mains out since the team wasn't sure if they were going to have the license still by the 50th anniversary in 2027.

I think the biggest issue with Vader figures proportion wise is the shoulder armour, it always seems to go wonky. Hasbro should do what they did with the recent TVC figures and make the shoulder and torso fabric an overlay and have the outer parts come off that.
It'd probably help if they could figure out a way to not have the shoulders be so droopy on all their figures as well.

Found the new Epic World of Heroes or whatever Vader. I really like this guy, especially for $8. The updated articulation on these new waves really makes a difference, they remind me of the 2000s era figures I used to collect with my brother. The big sell for me was the saber, the electric effect is sick as fuck. I'm looking forward to what they do with this line now that they're putting more effort in.
>>11473662
Yeah, mine's perfectly fine so I think you just got a scuffed copy. Like the other Anon said, try dipping it in boiled water for a bit or blasting it with a hairdryer to try to loosen it up. Also heads up, the new bazooka they come with is pretty much sculpted to where it'll pretty much only fit into his hands with the bigger back handle in his left hand, with it leaning on that left shoulder when you have him hold it two-handed.

I also took off the BoBF boba's skirt piece (from the target exclusive TVC), and replaced it with a better custom, I can try that in too, if you wanna see it.

I think I'd rather the next project be something smaller like a special wave of figures that don't have a good chance at being tooled up on the mainline. But since Mr. Stevie is going to SDCC this year, I'm assuming there's going to be some kind of special announcement for Star Wars.

Hasbro should try paper playsets again.

They did the Kessel one for Solo

A deluxe Black Series Lumiya, with masked and unmasked heads and full proper Lightwhip. I'd like that.

Yeah, I know, but given the current state of things, I wouldn't doubt the Hasbro heads going hmmm, let's do that again.

And then watch the Hasbro Hype team go 'hey guys, look! look! you want this right? huh? huh?"

I can't speak for other anons, but I personally just really like the movie and would hate for other anons to never give it a chance purely because the company that did the trailer were shit at their job. Even if they pirate it or wait for streaming, just give it a chance is all I'm saying.

I dunno. We gave them a lot of grief for including a cardboard door and window in the Nevarro Cantina. And since then they've given us nothing but functioning plastic doors in the playsets so they learned their lesson I think.

Prime Day deals kinda suck for Star Wars toys this year. The Shriek-Hawk set is at a good price but it's not really enough of a discount to make me get a second set.

Prime is just a scam to siphon more money out of people and give them less than they think they're getting. Apparently some large % of the US fell for it.

I hate being a zoomer and liking star wars figures. You used to get so many clones/stormtrooper/battledroids for fairly cheap and now everything is super expensive even for the basic stuff.
