Toy Biz Juggernaut has the best head sculpt in terms of unmasked head, in case you want to display him alongside the rest of the X-Men plus his helmet is removable. But he has short legs and his hands are gimpy as fuck as far as being stuck in a half-fist format

BAF Juggernaut, Colossus two-pack, and Gamerverse Juggernaut all have the same short leg issue and only the two-pack version has an unmasked alternate head though it's a Brand New Day/The Gauntlet style beaten up unmasked head from when Juggernaut got his ass kicked by Captain Universe. However the Gamerverse will have some extra fists and punch effect pieces.

Diamond Select Juggernaut is the only Juggernaut that has proper proportions limb-wise. It's got a pretty decent unmasked head though it's more dark brown hair-wise than red-red like the Toy Biz version and it's an alternate head deal; no removable mask like Toy Biz's.

TLDR: Diamond Select > Toy Biz > Two Pack > Gamerverse=BAF.

Got her from GameStop yesterday for $22. She's really nice, has an amazing ball jointed a -joint with no regular waste cut and looks seamless. It also lets her lean back really far though I think she should be able to lean forward more because that's how she's standing in most poses in mvc2. Great double joints, can get in some really good squatting poses if you wiggle her feet a bit.

My complaints are her bone blades are very soft, made it the same material as her backbones so they won't break. Her wrists tilt palm down instead of the rifle-holding joint that would allow her to bring the blade against her elbow like in the game. There's a little bit of a gap behind your head because of the double joint, also her hairstyle is missing the widow's peak from the game. Everything else about marrow is spectacular I wish they had done psylocke like this.

The cuffs are floating so glue them down if you like to swap hands a lot as you could lose them. You'll love the bone wash colors and the bones on her underboob glide across her stomach. The Mafex isn't based on 97, it's based on the comics, specifically the Jim Lee era. I don't think this SHF is going to necessarily be better or worse, it's just going to depend on which art style you prefer. Well that's certainly cool, but....well not for me and not for everyone. The gaps, weird cuts, and internal hinge joints are visually jarring. Hey if you're used to them or a fan of them you're eating good, MvC in Mafex/CT/Figarts/etc! And if they make a Sentinel those gaps and joint style won't matter at all. Japanese toy companies can make a figure for their demographic, less confined by safety and market rules. Hasbro has to market their figures to action figure isles (kids and adults) while Mafex/Figuarts show up in the collectibles/electronics dept (just adults). It's technically non-scale and ever since the first Figuarts came out which was Kamen Rider the First it had usually been set at 140mm being the average head height which slowly morphed into 145mm. There's been exceptions yes and ever since Kamen Rider Saber most Figuarts got sized up to 150mm (making it true 6 inch funnily enough) but no matter what they are not to scale with Marvel Legends or even G.I. Joe. Funnily enough Star Wars is on the smaller end and is comparable in scale to Figuarts.

Hasbro does re-releases occasionally. For example the symbiote wave Carnage and Magik. But the re-releases aren't typically big, wide distributions as far as I can tell. While they do actually do reissues from time to time, 97 Wolverine and Rogue are hitting Targets again after almost two years, with the amount of figures they put out, with the amount of mold reuse they do, it's kind of hard to divert those resources when you are basically constantly pumping out new products. For the popular characters, they'll release new, slightly different versions every couple of years. Look at Tiger Stripe Wolverine, his most recent figure isn't even two years old before we're getting yet another all new version of Wolverine in that costume. Captain America has had even less time between his recent Secret Wars figure that came out like six months ago, if that, and the new one. If you're into some niche costume or something, yeah, you might have to wait a while before they update it, but with the most popular ones, they'll always be cranking new versions out to try and get people to quadruple dip.

Shit, depending on the type of release it is, it could find it's way into Target and Walmart. Bandai tends to put out main characters like Goku, Naruto, and Tanjiro at a lower price point, around $30ish, and release them in Target and Walmart. The idea is by drawing in customers with cheap main characters, they'll eventually want to fill out a collection or a team or something and will end up paying the more premium prices for secondary characters like Piccolo or Krillin.

If it's a P-Bandai release it'll be made to order, available at P-Bandai's US website, and won't sell out until the pre-order period closes, and then you'll never be able to get it again for MSRP unless they reissue it. MAX hulk is based on comics dildo, of course they'll make a more brighter green Hulk using the MAX form factor with a gamerverse head. It's nice that you think Hasbro would give you options like that, but in the real world Hasbro is gonna Hasbro and milk as much money as they can on new sculpts. MAX spidey form factor was made with the intention of making a gamerverse as well. It's why as soon as I saw rumors of MvC line I cancelled my MAX spidey order and going to wait for the gamerverse one. Don't care about the shitty PP head.
