Well, what are /toy/'s thoughts on Blokees? Will it have a global presence at retail? Seems to me like the best replacement for funko pops when it comes to pop culture merch. Like seeing how many licenses they got for the next few years, they will be strong so I wonder how will they work it out for international fans and customers.

Can you swap around transformers wave 7's cores and waists to older figures so they get the new articulation?

I like the ides of at least on model miniature plastic statues over say Funkos. Plus I liked it when applause used to make these types of things for every movie that came along and other franchises that rarely got figures. They're fun to put on a desk next to a computer.

Bought a couple a little while back on a whim at Walmart and was incredibly surprised. Very fun to mess around with and great details; the UV print for the decals are fantastic as well. I do wish they would put all the available ones on the main site though.

Figures with good articulation and decent plastic quality at a relatively cheap price point. I could see them blowing the fuck up if they actually get more shelf presence. What little we get on Walmart shelves here seem to sell pretty damn well already.
Hell I'd be tempted to grab a few of the Sesame Street kits even if I saw them in the wild.

I was an early adopter. I love them. The blokees guys really nailed the design of these guys. They feel like the perfect synthesis of hero factory and gunpla. Just like>>11465591 already noted, their success outside of china hinges on whether or not they can get distribution in American Walmarts/retailers.

They already licensed a ton of properties. Im glad to hear Megaman is coming down the pipeline, that said I still want to see Medabots. They could probably even nail Battle Beasts.

I got Sakura Miku and its quite good for the price, a lot of accesories, optional hands, a display stand, a diorama piece, 3 faceplates and other 3 that you must choose which decals to put on them. Articulation is decent, mostly the same amount a random figma would have.
My only gripe with is is the plastic being rubbery for most of the figure buy hey, if you don't want to pay the ridiculous prices for figma this one is great and as any of the blokees stuff, it feels like a toy that can be posed without any fear of it snaping

I got the iron man from the spidey and friends line, it's a great toy, decent articulation and I think suits the blokees esthetic perfectly. The fat cartoon feet make balancing it really easy.

Haven't tried their more complex model kits though.

Gacha characters would be nice too.

Exemple the EVA Chest piece is a dark blue/black is painted on that neon green plastic.

I think the transformers ones are really well made. They are obviously stylized but the sculpts are well done and they look like the source material. do these all use the same joints? I’m thinking these can be used to make MOCs by using parts from the other lines like a poor man’s xevoz for fun. the more lines we get the more options we have. If they expand into more IPs we will have even more parts and it will require little to no paint to make stuff that looks cool.

Don't care for the TF ones, but the Super Sentai set is hard to pass up. You get the main cast + 2 robos and a major villain all at once.

I bought a few of the little Defender boxes yesterday when I saw them real cheap. I liekd them enough that I bought a bunch of the Galaxy sized figures as well as the Action Edition Prime. I still have four Galaxy figures to open/build, but this is what I've put together so far. I really wanted a Grimlock and he was the first one I opened. Happy to have gotten a Prime and Megatron as well (I think it's the special version of Megatron because of the flail).
