I scan them with a basic home printer, I put them back upright and remove what doesn't have the cover via the basic photo viewer of Windows 10 and I insert them on an OpenOffice/LibreOffice page, it's practical because you can change the size in cm and mm
I did the same thing for SNES game boxes (I found full versions scanned on Pinterest, I just had to print them and fold them like the real ones) PS2, GBA, DS, Gamecube boxes... for that I printed the covers and small squares/rectangles with my 3D printer, for the size I just did actual size divided by 12
For the Gunpla boxes I found some models with all the sides scanned and I just shaped them via Paint so I only had to fold them

For me, the fact is that the Figma Frieren just isn't really an upgrade. I still need soft goods to pose her properly, the pigtails look weird, the hair fringe doesn't look good either, Zoltraak is a GSC shop exclusive, and the DX version just doesn't have anything that makes me go "this is core to the character." A mimic is a fine quirk piece, but where's the suitcase? Where's a real physical effect piece that isn't on a thin plastic sheet? Those things would've made me want to buy the Figma.
But there just isn't really anything tangibly setting it above the SHF. Nothing that makes me go "Oh yeah, I really need to pay 80-90 euros extra for another Frieren."
I'll still get Himmel and whatever other character they'll make that isn't Fern. Stark, or Ubel, or Serie.

In my case, it's mostly the faces other than the silly one. I bought the figuarts knowing that they didn't completely nail the looks, and that a figma would look better in that regard. But Max Factory was sleeping on the license when back in the day they would have inmediately announced the figmas when the show was still on air.
I don't regret getting the figuarts, but the figma head is just more accurate to the source material. My idea for now is using the Frieren and Fern figuarts as the present party and the figma Frieren and Himmel as the party of heroes from the past. For this series it makes sense to have two Frierens on display depending of what other characters she's displayed with.

My take is the SHF is more like what you see in the anime while Figma is almost like a stylized preposed statue if that makes sense even though obviously it's articulated. But with the oversaturated colors and the windswept hair and clothes, it just reminds me of one of those premium scale figures. That's not necessarily a knock toward it, I guess it just comes down to personal preference.

I have no idea about the Figuarts because I never bought it, but the Figma isn't arched back, as you can see in pic rel. Yes, you can close the space between stripes by leaning her upper torso forward, but you have to give her a granny hunch.
Also the middle black stripe on the Figma is thicker than the other two stripes.

In fact, in that very same pic you posted now it looks closer, and they're using the ab crunch there so leaving the mid torso joint like that and having the abs straight will look fine enough in a neutral pose.

Overall, I think I still like the likeness, sculpt/engineering and paint for the SHF more, but I'm tempted to get the Figma anyway. I think I can make room for two Frierens, and the Figma does come with a few extra things that are nice. No idea why they made the Zoltraak Effect a shop exclusive, though.
Personally, I wish Frieren had come with a smug face and a suitcase, and they added the kiss blowing hand and face for Frieren to Himmel or something.

Has anyone else had problems with Sakura Kinomoto (the OP 1 version) having her white parts get weirdly grubby for seemingly no reason? She's not sticky so I don't think it's plasticizer, and I've always taken good care of her so I don't think it's handling dirt. A wet-wipe seemed to clean it off after a bit of effort, which suggests it's not the paint itself discolouring. Very strange.
