Will this just be the Robot Base head mounted onto a Diaclone stand?
>>11474221>literally a capstone set this feels like the party is over, and I don't know WTF is going on over at TT. Half the new diaclone sets are boring half assed garbage like this, but then there is another team doing the TMs and D vehicles who has just been nailing it
>>11474003 (OP)The buck teeth do feel a little silly. I mean, I'll get it but eh.
Also, the concept seemed to be more like a VW bug style car, maybe one of the variants will be that.
Is Aliexpress still the best place to buy Diaclone KOs nowadays? Been looking for cheap pilots and this Lasercut hangar plate but the majority of the listings got taken down after the tariff scare.
>>11475359KO dianauts are scarce everywhere, their last run was more than a year ago. Look into the Sheik Mainland pilot kits posted last thread. (Still up)
That particular photo-etch plate+adhesive for GRB is very literally 1 guy on taobao ordering a small batch, for them and their friends' own use then selling the rest on the side. Long sold out, if ali has a listing it's not real.
>>11475359>Been looking for cheap pilotsyou want the Sheik Mainland 3MIN pilot set. I think the price averages out to about a dollar, maybe a dollar fifty per inchman. Compare that to official diaclone sets that average 10-15 dollars per inchman...
I think if you dig around, you can find some MFT inchmen on 2ndary sites for like 5-10 bucks a piece(highway robbery for gen1 dianaut KOs, but MFT Waruder pilots are worth every penny).
>>11475384>>11475418Is this a decent listing? "6 pieces" means six pilots for $15 right? Is the Grand Dion KO dead?
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLPeapl
>>11475423Yes they have 6 pilots per box. Specifically they have 2 styles and 3 of each style.
>$15No idea if that's the lowest price for you but their Chinese MSRP is 21RMB per box (so about 3.5yuan per head). Note that you have to buy the feet magnets elsewhere.
>Grand Dion KOThat company (not MFT) very quickly changed to KOing TMs after that teaser and now they are dead.
>>11475442Thanks, got a link for the magnets?
>>11475449Dunno, I don't use Ali. Mine are from Taobao and they have multiple factories willing to sell directly in low quantities (<3000pcs) so you don't really need a link.
If you're sourcing them, the dimensions needed are Diameter 1mm, Length 3mm pin magnets.
if you want inch men, you might also want to check out Starwars Micro Galaxy. Those have 1/64 pilots that work pretty well with 1/60 scale stuff like diaclone. they are nowhere near as good as real dianauts, but they come with cool little ships and stuff
Ordering this today. Hoping it's strong enough to pick up powersuit chambers.
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrfqOan
>>11475663kinda cool, but I can tell just by looking, it will have balance issues with raid chambers
>>11475657Thoughts on the lightyear stuff? The movie flopped so they can be found for cheap. The pilots are of a similar scale.
>>11474003 (OP)Which one, lads? Levinix or Iglight.
>>11476014I would only get the back levinix because his revolvers look better on black, but I don't like his purple plastic parts.
>>11476017Levinix looks better in olive and black imo
>>11476017There's also black and olive Iglight
>>11476005I liked it because finally I was able to afford a Vic Viper.
>>11474544my b-day is coming up, what's a good current intro level diaclone set for approx $100 please?
>>11476005Wasn't that hyped about the spaceships but the ground vehicle dual-pack was real good, and goes very well with several micro lines.
Also kinda sucks that ANOTHER microfigure line died with Mattel, though this is more due to the movie. They previously bought the rights to Bluebird but didn't do anything with Mighty Max and Manta Force.
>>11476547The KO of DA65 called POP1 or something.
Has anyone bought into the Q-Bine line of toys? I'm loving the design aspect of it (Cutesy Mech) but I really would like to know how well the suction cups hold up.
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0FG6ZC8BS/
Got to admit, the idea of a motorized walking 01 is kinda cool.
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0FG72KHZF/
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0FG6TRF7G/
Yeah it's the same head as GRB
>>11476814What's more interesting are the included Dianauts, the guns seem to be molded on them.
>>11476818That's weird, are you supposed to switch forearms? The description doesn't help.
>>11476547>>11476553POP01 is a pretty cool set. Might cost closer to $150 depending on your location. It is nice to have an Optimus, and I'd say it's worth every penny for the big trailer playset. But I gotta say I wasn't super impressed by the overall quality. Still worth every penny, but it's night and day compared to the quality of the official line.
Another good place to start would be Tactical Mover line. They're a bit like transformers, with extra bells and whistles. Sets should cost under 100, but some of the more recent ones look a bit bigger and more expensive.

ID on this 30 minute missions head?
>>11476926It's the sniper armor on a regular Alto head. It's way back from the very start of the line
>>11476926>>11476954Alto also has an option armor that just straight up turns it into a gundamn. He's a pretty nice little kit, maybe less fancy than the newer sets, but still good
>>11476895Nothing here about swappable arms either, only thing new is they are officially called "Armed Dianauts"
https://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/diaclone/product_details/da-116/
>>11475657MGS is closer to 1/72, Lightyear is larger than 1/60.
The best source of inchmen right now are the Sheik Mainland kits, I'd get on them if you haven't. Who knows when they'll stop making them, like what happened with RIHIO's.

>>11480601If I'm reading this right, this silver DIO is a lottery prize BUT only given to the single "LAST" participant in the lottery. wtf?
>>11480608this is a thing in japan too like ichiban kuji
>>11480608I still hope for a Dio 3.0 someday that matches this concept art. Dio 2.0 isnโt the worst figure but it doesnโt feel like a proper follow-up to the original.
>>11481546That would be fuckinf awesome.
I put in a preorder for Fickle Step, hope it ships soon. Iโll try to apply at least some of the decals to spice it up a bit.
Which one is taller? Portanova or Alto? I'm going to get one to use it as a limb donor for the 30 minute sisters. Which one looks better in your opinion?
>>11483021>>11483023They're both about the same height, and both quite a bit shorter than 30MS for what it's worth.
>>11483067I don't have a direct comparison shot, but the Rabiot here is about the same height as the Alto/Portanova, if not a little taller
>>11483021Portanova Space Type is probably still my favorite 30mm kit. Might be something to consider if you want leg options. I think a lot of the newer kits have better curves tho

It's a model kit, nippers required. for sale on the 11th
Are the rihio multi abyss modular?
So I'm looking to put together my first kitbash, using Laetitia as the base. Aside from scavenging/cannibalizing armor parts from other FA Girls, what kits are the most compatible with FA Girls? I know alot of other Koto kits can swap between each other, but I'm guessing some of the bigger kits like Hexa Gears and regular Frame Arms might have some size issues. I've also looked and there aren't any real M.S.G armor pieces outside of a few skirts, though the Metamorphose Unit Exarmor kit looks cool if it would fit well with a FA Girl. Any other suggestions on where to look?
>>11485050Yeah, very. Their new range were the last thread's OP

>>11484210 is for the 24th. 11th is early sales at an event.
30MF Azurea Holy Knight (event exclusive)
>>11483021>>11483485I second the space type, the legs are tall enough to work with 30MS.
Alto and Portanovas are really short, funny enough it's the Spinatia (not Spinatio), and Acerby that are tall enough to match 30MS. The 30MF line on the other hand is huge in comparison.
Either way you can kinda make it would better if you get a 30MS set with the leg adapters, they have a C-Clip for going 30MS thighs to 30MM shins.
>>11485050Are these a rebrand/bootleg of Pocket Titans or something. Was really hyped for Pocket Titans but they never saw widespread release locally.
I'm still mad how bad they bungled this release, they had the perfect toyline. Base/Diorama, Pilot, and Cool Mech in a single package.
>>11486727RIHIO predates Pocket Titans by around 1 year and lasted far longer. Whether it's a KO or EMCO commissioning RIHIO for designs we don't know.
>>11486728It might be worth checking out RIHIO back catalog instead. They expanded to vehicles and even alien beasts before going on hiatus 3 years ago.
>>11486614I wonder if this a true ice element core now. The Assassins had them in the promo images, then suddenly they were just water. Looks good though, these flashy colors like on the Liber Archer and this stand out.
asked this in the Busou Shinki/30MS thread, but is there any combination of parts shorter than picrel that has the same articulation? I know there are double sided clips but the swivel in the middle is important
>>11486600What's the idea with little unpainted guys, am I supposed to paint them or something? Is this a reference to some forgotten Chinese toyline?
>>11488328It's a reference to how the Japanese make erasers of various manga and toku characters, you don't actually use those erasers.
Toy Notch is releasing another Apollo in what seems to be a potential spinoff type series, Astrobotix? I watched that part of the TFCon panel but there wasn't really any news about the line itself. I assume They'll post something about it soon.
>>11476785I have these! the suction cups are ass and fall in like 30 seconds so i cant even display anything, the black ones weren't a thing when i bought them , maybe they improved them for the purple cups?
>>11476785honestly, this is the first I have heard about this line. And I think this is an insanely creative approach to a modular building system. But we all know suction cups suck... so...
>>11488646>cant even display anything,Maybe you could use a little bit of blu-tack or something, to hold it together more solidly than the suction cups can alone
>>11488657tempted to put some strong magnets in there and some kinda 3d printed dome peice to fill it up, wouldnt let you put stuff on the clear parts but at least it would work to make mechs
>>11488646Does washing them with soap or alcohol help? Maybe it's the mold release.
>>11488708there are a bunch of modular magnetic robots by generic chinese brands, might as well get those. 3D printing modular joints sounds like hell.
>>11477742I got some Sheik Mainland guys, but the plastic quality wasn't great and no matter how cautious I was, the ball joints end up developing stress marks when you assemble them
>>11488908What about breakage? I must have built at least 50 of them already, pretty much 100% have stressed ball joint sockets but zero breakage so far. I feel like a hot water bath to remove stress marks is mandatory.
>>11488362Neat, not the worst recolor of Apollo. If this is a new line, maybe they'll finally pack in that giant revolver that got pulled from Krivo
>>11489103I'd guess it may excuses to re-use various molds while outside of the main story (for those that follow the comics). Hope they don't shy away from completely new characters, like a new female with a completely unique head/look. Apollo here could have had more of a face mask and he'd practically feel like Snake-Eyes themed.
Atlas

๐
>>11489222Some kind of revision would definitely be more interesting than just a weapon pack in or recolor. I think Atlas is the last 'new' release left that they've shown off.
Don't know much about Beast Box, but I saw one called Dio lite on Amazon for 12. Is it any different from the original Dio, aside from stickers.
>>11490390not sure really. It's still labeled as BB01, meaning that it is the original Dio. I assume that the "lite" version means that they are cutting back on everything else. cheap blister packaging, no accessories or manuals or anything extra. It's just Dio on a card
>>11490390It's a tribute imitating the very first Dio release that came carded w/ stickers, but the Dio mold is still the current one, with 3mm holes, larger claws and some other minor changes i forgot.
>>11490064There is the "from the past events of the story" version of Atlas that they've show a prototype for. It re-uses some of Atlas, so I'd think they'll get this one out too.
>>11492694Thats pretty great looking, hopefully it'll eventually find its way to release. I missed out on the comics but theres a trade coming out towards the end of the year that I'm looking to get.
nothing new but they refreshed the layout
https://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/diaclone/
bros I think I was cucked by HLJ, I had the full armor option set on preorder and it just went on backorder without my order being filled
>>11494579Welcome to the club. HLJ hasn't fulfilled a single Bandai model kit pre-order for me in the last 5 years in a timely fashion. Obviously the pre-order was made when they went up or a few hours later but that doesn't seem to matter. It's well known now that HLJ is a backorder hell for most of the Bandai products. They will fulfill your order, but how long it will take is up in the air. I was lucky with the RG RX-78-2 2.0 as it took less than two months, but other kits took like 6 months in the worst case scenario. I would advise you to get it from another source if you want it in a timely fashion.
>>11494635at least the iglight did came through, so I'm doubly surprised as to why that went into backorder
so of course, as a punishment, I'm gonna hold out my order on my private warehouse for as long as I can until the armor comes back
>>11494579I still see the same FA Alto sitting for months at my nearby toy store, stop ordering from HLJ lmao
As if their hostile web design and barely usable filters weren't enough already
>>11494689Metal Slug ah kitbash
>>11494684sadly my local options don't have the most recent releases, or even any other kit that I'm looking for
>>11494691Not that guy but I'm actually gathering 30ML parts for a Metal Slug type tank big enough for a 30MS or 30MF. I have a top secret formula already for the treads that I figured out by accident.
>Random color Sheik Mainland pilots
>Got piss yellow and stress mark navy
T-thanks
>>11486927not sure if you've looked into MSG kits, but they actually have a couple joint sets, specifically for custom kit bashes. If you dig through all their bits, i'm sure you can put something together
>>11495312I keep getting piss yellow, cum white and mustard gold. Wouldn't mind the navy blue actually, I could use them as SWAT troopers.
>>11493990I hope it means the line will go on.
Also today I learned Tactical Movers can use Hotwheels Fingerboard
https://x.com/miyakoneko/status/1946924672127512834
This thing is pretty nifty, its a ton of fun moving cockpits and weapons around. It can definitely lift raid chambers but will need a special made pallet with a closed bottom and maybe even a 3mm peg to drive around with it without toppling. Despite being 1/64 the pedals are way too low so I'll probably fill the space in with a big magnet. Just ordered a POP 01 Convoy because it seems like they'll go really well together.
Fickle Step is a really solid figure/set. The simple conversion and adorable aesthetic make me miss the earlier days of BeastBox. Articulation is adequate (could be even better but Iโm satisfied) and nothing pops off during transformation.
Upcoming BeastBox reveals
>>11498719The first BeastBox horse wasnโt bad, but I never bought it because the proportions reminded me of a childโs drawing. Based on its silhouette the new one seems like a vast improvement.

>>11498719those red and blue combiners look really fucking promising for /mrg/ purposes
