>>11483897You can bend the knees forward:)
>>11483897>>11483925It's also Lego
So Rebrickable and others will have MOC/Rebuild ideas, plans and a parts list/instructions within a week lol
>>11483925what
>>11483926true, they added joints to Prime didn't they
lego mechs are really hard, the bricks are designed to support weight in ONE direction: downward, toward the studs. The entire point, you can much more easily separate them by pulling than dislodge by pushing, so you can take them apart and rebuild them all you want
you have to use a lot of wrap-around bracketing to get things to withstand forces in multiple directions, like if connected to a joint.
>>11483958>whatHave you never seen a G1 Soundwave? The knees can only go forward for transformation.
I emailed hasbro about my omega prime that was cracked and leaking lubricant and they said that it's on back order till 2025, which is nice that I got a response at all.
>>11483981huh, seems odd. but i didn't know that, no.
>>11483985Imagine if they told you that it's a feature and all copies are the same.

>>11484047it means he'll have a soundbox, fit with early-bayverse-toyline esque random lines spoken by some random intern that may vaguely sound like soundwave
>Haven't even gotten my Omega Prime
>Hasbro sending a replacement Prime free of charge
Guess I won't be getting that.
>>11484019Still would be a problem since they specifically had me ship mine back to them.
>kiiillllll..... mmmeeeee
>>11484139whoa! xenoplane. i like it.
if they did a crossover with a xenomorph robot mode (i'd love to see them explain it), what would the altmode be?
>>11484144The Nostromo, obviously.
>>11484147hmmm it's pretty angular but maybe
>>11484139The jet mode's landing gear being tucked in Superion's head/Silverbolt's hip skirts is a really clever bit of design.
>>11484058Eh, you can always change that sound brick with the Sorting Hat one so you can have Soundwave send you to Slytherin.
>>11484166The landing gear in the head seems to be trendy now, as Slingshot, Fireflight and Vortex have it too.
>>11484139Either you removed the Autobot logo or you flipped the picture.
Was powermaster Optimus Prime really the greatest hero of his time?
>>11484139First cool picture I've seen of this shit toy.
>>11484172No, that was Thunderclash. Mogged him so hard that 5 years later, Thunderclash was repainted to make Machine Wars Optimus.
>>11483873 (OP)And what about the MPG? Is it just a 2.0?
I also have a different opinion: If we want to see Headmaster Juniors with updated redesigns, do you think they will just redesign existing Cheapo Plastic Era toys to give them Headmaster sockets? I say Goshooter could be a retool of Chase.
>>11484184hyperdrive mogged thunderclash so hard that hasbro couldn't make a hyperdrive toy.
>>11484207Sounds more like Thunderclash mogged Hyperdrive out of existence.
>>11484172https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btWBJ4HvzoA The commercials may have about five frames a second but I honestly like the charm of the animation.
>>11483895I'm waiting on my commander preorder set to ship from U.S. Amazon, as I couldn't find the Canadian Amazon listing. However in the mean time I've found Scrapper, Bonecrusher and even Mixmaster, who is not supposed to even be out at Walmart in Canada.
So, similar to the springs on fire convoy, some people are posting that MPG Super Ginrai's springs on the back cannon and knees are damaging the figure due to being too strong.
I like Chop Shop's insect mode a lot more than I thought it would. I love that there's storage options for all three of his guns and that they make him look like a beetle-tank getting ready to scuttle into battle.
>>11484287yeah this guy definitely scanned a sentai vehicle and not a life form
>>11484295Ironic, considering he looks like a Sentai monster of the week in bot mode.
>>11484308cant disagree
i'm not quite sold on these guys to join my beast shelf, especially when I'm kinda runnig out of money because nobody wants to buy art from me anymore, but they do not suck.
>>11484312I mean, what are you drawing?
I CAN'T HELP IT CHARLIE
I JUST LOVE UNICRON TRILOGY SO MUCH
I LOVE UT
>>11484312Fair, I wasn't considering them until Venin got announced and I got them mostly to pose with him. And sorry that you're struggling with your art currently. Feels like there's never been a worse time to try and make a living through creative work.
So how tall is alchemist prime?
>>11484308They could pass for a 5 member super sentai team, they were originally heroes after all, back when they were the Beetras corps.
>>11484316like whatever, all the things. but unfortunately, I don't think people are aware of that, or they (rightly) assume that robots would be really expensive.
Yeah but they'd be really pretty damn good robut drawings...
(also want some of that furry money but I don't think people know I can draw that)
>>11484318too right. I guess I had a good run, if it ends here whatever, but I'm not ready for a real job again...
>>11484327The first rule of any artist is: Whore, whore, whore yourself out. Every social media platform on Earth, post art to It every single day. Every Discord you can find that will let you, post.
>>11484327Not like you advertise much, Altoraiser.
Man, Amazon this year has upped themselves and manage to have an even worse sale than last time, not even their exclusives are on sale.
>>11483915>Eurofag here too. I recieved Scrapper and Bonecrusher yesterday and really like them. Have all the others preordered, first time having a Devastator too.i can't wait
Having a giant devastator would be so much fun
>>11484330>social mediagross. they have made it very clear i'm not welcome, and I told them that from the start. none of my clients would ever be there. They'd be banned from it, most likely.
>>11484337is that like a riff on Actraiser?
>>11484144>>11484147>>11484165The Sulaco, it's longer, thinner and more rounded.
>>11484287>>11484295>>11484308Mood. The four Deluxe Insecticons being loaded with weapons and having wilder designs compared to the rank and file is basically because of taking designs from a stillborn Takatoku toyline called Beetras. Being too Sentai robot-coded doesn't help matters. Look at Barrage and Ransack too, if you will.
Is this guy ever going to go on sale again? How often do commander class go on sale? I really want him but not sure if he's worth the $90.
>>11484397>Look at Barrage and Ransack top, if you will.I won't, because I'll just get mad about how unobtainable Ransack is currently.
>>11484325>Beet Papil customShow me more, anon
>>11484405I think if you want him, you're probably better off just biting the bullet and paying full price. I have him and he's a good toy that's the worth the asking price. Maybe he'll go on sale somewhere, but to be real: with everything going on with the global economy right now, I think it highly unlikely that we're going to see significant discounts on toys or anything else.
I think SS Grimlock reissues are back up if anyone cares.
>>11484465I love mine and it's probably the best TF purchase I made last year. I just wish his sword wasn't so shitty, mine came in bent and I've tried every proposed fixing method, it will only stay straight for a while before slowly warping again.
>>11484276Yeah I keep seeing posts about Mixmaster all over the place in Ontario. I preordered mine from a store alongside Scrapper so I'm willing to wait instead of scouring my shithole prairie Walmarts.
>>11484317Energon combiners are weeeeird
I kinda like them despite it.
Which post-Prime Wars toys not designed to be Headmasters should get updated into Headmaster-compatible designs? Just an opinion and copium because I heard next year could release new Headmaster Junior toys.
>>11484405>>11484465>>11484499i managed to get my copy for $30 less than MSRP because Gamestop fucked up the preorder price when he was revealed on 10.27 in 2023, they corrected the price but i locked in my preorder at that price and they still honoured it.
I also was able to get a Overcharge for deluxe price.
Finally got the stand-ins for Leader-1 and Scooter. Gonna drop by the store for more vallejo and just completely ruin these toys. Groove might actually have less paint on him overall than PotP Optimus' crotch did.
>>11484499If it's any consolation, mine has the exact issue. I guess a temporary fix is better than it being bent sideways at all times, but it's definitely still annoying.
>>11484511You lucky bastard. Kudos for screwing GameStop out of money though.
>>11483915Where did you preorder others in Europe? im also a european anon
>>11484602Amazon.
>>11484354>Having a giant devastator would be so much funTrue. I'm getting all the combiners but Devastator has something special about him. Being the first just makes him really emblematic.

Anti-framefags, what are your thoughts on ss86 devastator?
>>11484744Too much unbroken green, waiting on a toy detail version
>>11484503This is prob my fav configuration for him
I'm hunting the early 3P stuff and man it's hard to find
I was messing with him and the Superion team last night and it spurred a 2 hour deep search trying to hunt the 3P Kits which did give me a gem in t he form of a Takara UW Devastator for sub $200 range

>>11484765So pretty much the same amount of unbroken green now that there's some crotch and arms sticker details but Mixmaster's drum isn't purple? The place with more detail due to stickers is the purple chest wings, that isn't breaking the green at all.
You're better just buying what's in stores now and then add some stickers yourself, they're bound to happen sooner than a repainted Devastator (designers already said there's no plans for a long while).
>>11484744I think he may be good but that back is a mess and some spots look kinda ehh
I'm sure with some "additions" and fixes we'll see him being held higher than UW tho currently UW with the 2 main kits is top tier
>>11484779Protip; untab the inside tank tread on each leg so he can stand more naturally, with his legs closer together
>>11484783I just bought Mecha Invasion Devastator, so personally I'm not in the biggest hurry for another

>>11484376there we go, that i could see. it even has that shit on the front that could be his back appendages.
>>11484397good ol Beetras.
>>11484405I feel like they knew we'd get sticker shocked so they underproduced this guy, I barely got him discounted, I think I got him for 75. Felt like an idiot. Goin broke now.
>>11484785That truck bed is way too low in the back.
I'm conflicted on if I want yet another batch of Constructicons. Some look better like Long Haul and Hook, some look worse Like Bonecrusher and Scavenger.
do we know when the next reveals are? I'm waiting on Monstructor
>>11484821SDCC and then Pulsecon and NYCC
I doubt there's too much need for a pulse stream for the rest of the year
>>11484742>tfw wish he'd lose his job if it weren't for the fact that it would mean he has more time to postAt least whatever girl he was bragging about is probably now safely out of his life, considering he was on /soc/ or other finding a fwb or other
>>11484742Who's Paul Poncet?
I wish star convoy had more 5mm ports to plug in more stuff for his base mode.
>>11484821Are we expecting a Monstructor? That's a combiner I might actually bother with.
>>11484899Evan teased that they are on the table but thatโs about it
already have the UW Menasor set but would you sat the legacy stunticon set is worth the money if I will probably just end up having it displayed as menasor for most of the time?
>>11484868it does seem like base modes ought to have as many ports as possible.. and it's not as if they'd even show in the other modes, right?
>>11484397Shame Hasbro can't just design good toys anymore without having to rely on accuracy randomly aligning with what their budget is capable of.
>>11484899dont get your hopes up because they said "his parts are already out there" and "he won't be dinosaurs" so he's probably a heavy Dinoking retool. Iirc the Gen Selects boxed set in leaked listings is about the cost of Dinoking.
Mostructor is my favorite combiner so this is really dire times for me, dreading how they manage to ruin him.
>>11484941I was kind of thinking last night that at some point i might downscale because I have all the CW figures and both full Menasor sets and I don't really play with them. I'm hoping to finish G2 Menasor but I'm increasingly feeling like it's not a good space investment to have two others.
>>11484744I'd love to see Predaking done similarly.
>>11484744They didn't learn from CW/UW and forgot to add ratchets to his shoulders, the short shins and double butt don't help either.
>>11484973>I was kind of thinking last night that at some point i might downscalebeen there a lot. also have most of the CW sets and yeah I don't really play with them because its a hassel to take them apart and transform, especially devastator, main reason I'd consider the Legacy Menasor is simply he looks a bit nicer and looks more solid, I am scared that my UW motormasters waist is gonna break one of these days
>>11484988They really should of made scrapper and mixmaster actual voyager sized.
>>11484988huh, that does look better
shouldn't his head be bigger too? for both the old toy and the old show?
>>11484744not anti-frame but like, yeah he is better in some aspects than the UW one, but not enough to make someone who already owns that be willing to swap.
also yeah no ratchets in the arms is insane
>>11484744Gravity Builder is still undefeated.
>>11484941He looks good with some kits
I'm eyeing this set because I have Legacy Off Road and Motormaster and it's actually cheaper to buy this set or a complete loose Legacy set than it is to hunt down the other like 3 Legacy bots
>>11484991>They really should of made scrapper and mixmaster actual voyager sized.Problem is that then they would look completely off as individual Contructicons and the team would look off, the same thing that happened with fat fuck CW Long Haul but too tall instead of too wide.
>>11484991>They really should of made scrapper and mixmaster actual voyager sized.Problem is that then they would look completely off when you display all six as individual Contructicons, the same thing that happened with fat fuck CW Long Haul but too tall instead of too wide.
>>11485031So what, the primary mode is Devastator, they included Longhauls trailer just for Devastator.
>>11485060>So what, the primary mode is Devastator, they included Longhauls trailer just for Devastator. No, they included Long Haul's trailer so Long Haul doesn't have to be an obese mofo this time around, meaning they also took into account how the individual robots looked together as a group.
>>11485031they have to be the exact size ratio to each other, huh?
>>11483892surely at this point the only warfare that could be reasonably considered 'modern' is like, drones. everything else is fuckin history.
>>11485093>they have to be the exact size ratio to each other, huh?I see what you're trying to do, but I never said that. The actual toys aren't even exactly the same size, but they clearly look close enough to look good. Something that can't be said of having four deluxe sized ones and two voyagers that tower over them.
>>11485072then they should've added even more cheat parts so the legs were the right size.
or fuck it, individual Devastator figure and six separate Constructions. I mean who cares, right?
>>11484868things about this base piss me off because they were easily avoidable. Like why aren't the rear ramps on the right side flat instead of tilted so you could actually park vehicles on them
>>11485112I was being honest, I genuinely don't know if that's a thing about them
I quite like teams with different sized guys, but if these guys are really meant to be the same, or a specific ratio to each other, in order to look like themselves, then yeah.
>>11484913>>11484973Ahhhh man, bummer.
I'm still so relatively new to how thing go with releases and just the lore in general, so I've been getting a feel for what kinds of releases I'd be after (barring minicons).
Love me the idea of combining robots, but most of the Transformers ones just don't gel with me. Monstructor definitely has my eyes so if he happens, I might be tempted anyways. Or if something like Abominus or Megatronia happen again.
>>11484973>Mostructor is my favorite combinerCan I genuinely ask why?
There's almost nothing to him both physically and in lore
>>11485135there's a lot of people who'd eat up a megatronia but I don't know if we'll be able to get one considering the way combiners are working now, as well as the Takara market shrinking so much. Abominus is my other favorite combiner and also the least likely to get made since he's a Decepticon that wasn't featured on the show much. Monstructor is only sneaking in because they could get out a Dinoking masquerading as Dinobots so they're squeezing one last repaint out of those guys. We don't know how bad it's going to be either because the brontosaurus guys from Volcanicus/Dinoking are up there in the worst Transformers I've ever seen.
>>11485140If anything I'd say the Takara market is growing
Compared to 4 or 5 years ago they're doing a lot of their own projects
>>11485140*sigh*
Guess this is what I get for liking the weirdos and not giving a shit about the usual suspects as far as Transformers go.
Oh well, I'll just hope for the best with Monstructor then. Core class would make him at least nice for space.
>>11485138I got Birdbrain's shell (along with Longtooth) at a yardsale as a kid and they were my favorite toys years before I knew they were Transformers. Plus in IDW he's got some awesome moments, and he's just got a generally pleasant color scheme with a clean design. I've always wanted a real one but he's super expensive and Slog and Bristleback have GPS, and the 3P one goes for even more (if it shows up at all on the secondary market.)
I've once or twice sat with a Beastructor in my ebay cart trying to weigh if I could drop a grand on a toy and not hate myself the next day.
>>11485122I thought maybe they are slanted so you can hold a car there and let it go and gravity will launch it down like how the OG toy used the motorized tracks to launch cars but maybe I am coping.
Also got in hearts of iron optimus and screamer

The pretenders have pretty fun bios for people who were pretty late and rarely got much love or attention after that
The detail is really nice with all the rivets and small parts showing gears and pistons. I kinda wish they where a size class up so you can see more detail and also have more engineering like having primes cab roof be fold away instead of partsform. OP also really needs a tender car to fill out his choo choo mode.
His head looks fantastic though and has a great ball joint to look around.
>>11485169I got these two like two weeks and still haven't opened them :(
>>11485179cow catcher skirt armor is pretty inspired
>>11485185life's really busy?
What's the deal with Twincast? Is he just Blaster in an upgraded body, or is he a completely separate character? I looked on the wiki and even asked chatgpt, and I can't get a straight answer.
>>11485188The first depiction was him after getting his shit kicked in and rebuilt in The Headmasters, but some things like the Dreamwave comics used Twintwist as a different person.
>>11485185They are fun little guys, not perfect though. Primes shoulders are odd and getting his legs lined up for alt mode is a pain.
Starscream is missing a waist swivel and wish he had hinges to fold his wings back and the panel hat is odd but accurate to the comic design
>>11485186They are both such neat designs so I needed prime to add to my OP collection. I should dig out my 3p ver of these characters and compare them.
>>11485187Back to back vacations (woe is me) and my play area has been overly messy
>>11485189So what would the more common depiction be? The former?
>>11485128>I was being honest, I genuinely don't know if that's a thing about themSorry if that's the case anon, I was under the impression that everybody here knew about how the Constructicons are supposed to look so I just read that as you ridiculing anyone who wants them to be the same size like we're super picky or something.
>>11485121>or fuck it, individual Devastator figure and six separate Constructions. I mean who cares, right? At this point I don't even know what you're trying to say.
>>11485196ahhh yeah, sometimes good things in life all kinda pile up. A luxurious problem.
>>11485211yeah that comes up a lot, I feel like I'm among the least knowledgeable about G1 in here. I keep thinking I know, but it turns out I missed something really important.
as for what that other anon is saying, I think he's talking obliquely about a 3P one where basically the entire Devy is a separate figure and you just plug in the individual constructicons.
It took me 16 years to find out that jetpower prime grows a beard.
>>11485255nice. good lil goatee. too bad his eyes look so stupid.. but that detail!
>>11485211I'm saying that if they're going to add that much cheat parts for the combined form because the individual figures can't be affected, why even bother with the facade. People just want posable figures that look good. Who cares if they can transform or combine or whatever. People want glorified Action Masters.
>>11485274Sometimes it's better to just go all in one way or the other, yeah. at least you'll be pleasing someone
on the other hand, I tend to be okay with transformers who found a happy medium. Particularly in the case of stuff that cheats, like, if you can kind of evoke the cheated model, but also make it work well as a toy, i'm happy. the Animated line, the new Beast Wars guys, some of the early movie guys...

I realize life has to be pretty swell before this can affect you, but.. it also has to be kind of rotten so you indulge yourself in toys instead. and then this happens.

The fuck is this face sculpt?
>>11485458Are all decepticons black in TFone? That's kinda based...
>>11485411>Figure of the Year.Hate the lack of defined waist, the excesive greebles, the hollow forears, the skinny shins and the dumb frankenstain shoes, both "jets" look wrong, either an oversized nosecone or a space brick with a random nosecone on it.
Blokees is good choice for Action Master.
>>11485458>How do you do, fellow Protoforms?
>>11485471wait did the movies use 'protoform' to mean young transformer? I forget, but we did see some in i wanna say the fourth movie...
>>11485424>goreposting on a blueboard
>>11485473I'm honestly not sure, I was just trying to make a Steve Buscemi reference. TFA makes a distinction between Protoforms and 'young bots' though. I actually watched Age of Extinction for the first time this week, but I can't speak to whether or not they went into that all. Besides Optimus blowing Kelsey Grammer the fuck away (which was hilarious), that movie has completely left my brain already.
>>11485193I sold Starscream, I only wanted Optimus.
And even then I find myself pretty underwhelmed with Optimus.
>>11484868Kind of a dumb plug, but whenever I imagine seeing Star Convoy's base mode, I would rather place the base mode for Super Ginrai's trailer in front (whether it's the old G1 toy, especially as Powermaster Optimus Prime, or the MPG version that is somehow CHUG-scaled as well as Masterpiece-scaled) as some form of fortress wall. Oh, and not many display the Ginrai Base with some Titan Masters, the same way your pic displayed Star Convoy with a few of these Titan Masters.
>>11485386We had two Rhinox figures and they still shafted us.
Honestly, the best looking of the Lego gang.
>>11485634>partsforming cassettesEwww
>>11485634>"Soundwave superior"His actual motto is too much for Lego I guess.
>>11485637Even thesonline cassettes needs their weapons to be removed, why would you expect ones made out of Lego to be better in that regard?
>>11485640I'm just spoiled by MP Laserbeak, ok?
>>11485637Even the mainline cassettes need their weapons to be removed, why would you expect ones made out of Lego to be better in that regard?
>>11485638Yeah I don't think "negroes inferior" was going to fly with modern audiences.
>Prime Megatron comes to admire human resiliency after Raphael survives his dark Energon poisoning
>Marvel Megatron spares Joey Slick's life after he shows some ball bearings and stands up to him
I enjoy TF media where Megatron occasionally gives humans props.
>>11485411how does he compare to the CW one?
>>11485489Again I think he needed to be size class up and I generally like smaller figures.
>>11485573I may need to dig out my G1 PM OP and try as I never got the TR ver. Titan masters are perfect for manning battle stations.
>>11485718That Unite Warriors one looks pretty good for something that doesnโt massively cheat the torso mode
>>11485702And since the Powermaster block is the same height as the one from the MPG, it is still valid height comparison with the Titan Masters, who might be supposedly shorter than 1987 Headmasters.
>>11485718Ugly ass mofo on the left
>>11485718My takeaway from all this shitposting is that there's not a single good combiner. Anyone who posts about them has shit taste and should die.

>>11486007>>11486014Meanwhile Stanley Tucci gets a total pass for resurrecting robo Hitler.
>>11485718I kinda like the UW one a bit more looks wise, idunno I did the proportions, but the new one does just look like hes a better toy, which he better because he is way more expensive.
>>11486029>Then use the right platic color to mold it.You obviously don't understand how color separation works. Or the added costs of mold separation and tooling.
If you make all vynil parts yellow just so the waist matches the cartoon you're going to get even more innacuracies in other places.
>>11486123surely because this is a team, they can be gang-molded to alleviate that
>>11485458I really hate it when transformers face sculpts have prominent lips. Robots having lips at all is weird and retarded.
>>11486139it's tough.. there's a real delicate balance. A lot of mecha classically have human faces, sentai helmets too, but.. you can't make them feel bulgey. it has to be a gradual taper.
>>11485385No, actually. It's from his original bio from 1989. Just the most crazy cosmic coincidence.
>>11486139Some transformers deserve lips. Like tracks. If tracks' headsculpt is not kissable it is a failure of design.
>>11486154hang on, this says it's corrosive TO rust. meaning if he comes into contact with rust, he will corrode it?
then again it also says 'monsterous' so maybe this person didn't have the best grasp of english. I mean the next sentence is a real clunko.
>>11486123>you don't understand how-No fuckwad, you don't understand.
No one cares about what a company spends. Ever. Not a single fuck is given that Hasbro might have to spend 1/100000000000th of a fucking cent to have the right colored plastic where it should be. Just do it, you worthless bean counting retarded cunts.
>>11486266I don't think anon was saying he is watching out for hasbro's bottom line
rather that he's giving you an explanation for why they don't. Because hasbro has raised cheapness to a new level.
>>11486272The only thing worse than retards not spending the cent is retards trying to defend it. Don't defend their retardation, put that energy to bitching at the company instead.
The worst thing for any fandom is morons trying to excuse or explain. Never do that, bitch to the company until it is done correctly.
>>11486273i think the company already feels that it has maxed out bitching, and has decided not to listen to anyone as a result? Idunno. I just think when you ask "why do things suck" and anon says "money" he is not necessarily supporting that stinginess. Just explaining it.

Protoforms in the movies are just the form a Cybertronian is in before they scan a altmode and can also be used to land on planets from outer space.

Playing with Gen Red Alert.
Decent enough toy though again, it riles me up, because Hasbro just refuses to give us minicons.
Fucks sake, sell em separately, repaint some of the micromasters, I don't care, throw us SOMETHING.
>>11486352oh that's right, thank you.
About time Amazon had a good deal. AOE Prime is going for 35.
>>11486354For me it's the repair bed being cut. All it needed was (one) hinge that the Armada toy already had ffs.
>>11486378I knew none of the extra gimmicks weren't making it. but given that the minicons were the main thing that defined Armada, you would think they would at least try to retain that.
>>11486468i'm hearing his theme in my head...
hangin out with friends? so lucky.
does every motel have that same art? I've seen it so many times.
>>11486484You can blame that on the failure of the Micromasters and Battlemasters during WFC making the higher ups hesitant to approve more small figures
>>11486488I bought them all.
>>11486468Is that a female in the background?
>>11486505Yes, anon, there tends to be a lot of those in this fandom
>>11486505There was like a half dozen of them
A whole herd
>>11486515god damn, I need to get to cons
>>11486354What's the point of minicons
No seriously, I never got the appeal of slapping a car onto the side of bigger car.
>>11486495>>11486488I bought them all too but they were probably expecting them to be big sellers as "pocket money toys" yet they were not nearly worth what they were priced. The Micromasters were fine themselves but the Battle Masters were pushing it and the fucking AIRLOCK things were a joke
>>11486570I like the ones that are specifically designed to interact with their big partner, like how Demolishor's can deploy from him or sit in his seat
>>11486575if hasbro weren't faggots they could have tripled down on air lock stuff and given us a wholly new spinoff micromaster line with more base molds. half-assing it killed it.
>>11486593i do not think bridgeformers were ever going to be a smash hit toy property anon
>>11486606niiice lightpiping
>>11486570think of minicons more like a different version of a powermaster or targetmaster. its just a way to add extra power to a cybertronian.
>>11486570>Wow these little robots can sit in a larger vehicle robot what's the point of this? Why does the skeleton robot come apart and turn into bone armour this is dumb!
>>11486669>Why do these perfectly good robots turn into vehicles anyway? they're robots, they don't get strained from walking like humans do. In fact, why even have giant robots in the first place? they're impractical and make zero sense.
>>11486570Mini-Cons are the logical conclusion to Headmasters, Targetmasters and Powermasters. Small little bots that a bigger bot slap on to gain a boost in overall power and stats. Or they can use the Mini-Con to form a new head to use as a disguise, sometimes the Mini-Con itself would transform into a head and combine with a body in order to stand and fight amongst the big bots. Or the big bots can slap a Mini-Con that transforms into a weapon giving them something to fight with and with so many Mini-Cons there's so many variations in said weapons.
>>11484744I like my CW Devy just fine, every time i go out i have to remind myself I have a larger superior version at home. And don't need an overpriced manlet.
