NECA's 18" scale Superman was revealed and is up for preorder. Hopefully we see more figures in this scale make a return.

Ben Cooper wave 8 was revealed and went up for order as well.

Possibly the most exciting news is that NECA will have a Tom Savini Jason at SDCC!

This of course begs the question as to whether they are now limited to doing concept art or game Jasons, or are the rest of the movie designs open to them? Can they do skins from the game based on the movie but marketed as a game figure? Loopholes?

It had the 2025 code above the upc, and the figure has hinged wrists (the original had ball pegs) and the new ball jointed hips. I'm wondering if we'll see the rest of the Jason figures get this treatment.

At the very least, I hope them being able to reissue these older, larger figures means they'll be able to go back and reissue some of the smaller ones and/or release some of the pre-Disney figures they were never able to do.

They did put the Ultimate Big Chap up for preorder around the same time as the 1/4 scale reissue, so I wouldn't rule that out.
As for new pre-Disney figures, I wouldn't hold my breath. It might happen, but they said they had Wolf in the works god knows how long ago. Maybe once Disney gets management that aren't trying to run shit into the ground.

Interesting one, they have a Ghouliana cloth figure with her "undead dog" Poppet up on the Neca store. Comes with a signed book, limited to 1000.

The figures should see a single release too, I think. I did wonder if they were doing more with this after that Toony Terror.

My Howling figure came from Target yesterday. This bastard is really gorgeous. Price is a bit steep but man the sculpt on the fur is great. Articulation is good and smooth, nice range in the neck and torso.

Legs are moostly solid but he 100% needs the stand to stay upright for any period of time. Heads and hands all swapped easily. Fell in love with the bloody open mouth so that's what I'll be using in the display.

Bro, those 1/4 scale figures are the 1.0 Predator bodies that have single hinge elbows, knees, and V-cut hips, and no ab articulation, no bicep articulation, etc.

The Jungle Hunter and City Hunter have both had total upgrades twice since those figures came out. To put that into perspective, the old blister carded figures completely overhauled the hips and knees for wave 4 of the original Predator line, and that was back in like 2012.

Watched the Dan and Blaine vid, nothing revealed that isn't on display. They did say there's more that will be shown off online in the coming weeks.

The Welcome to Derry line apparently has multiple figures that they can't show until the embargo lifts/show airs in October, so that will be at NYCC.

The Savini Jason will have light up eyes and more accessories than what's been shown.
