Sure, they're stuck in clearance limbo for years, but as soon as stock dries up, the aftermarket prices shoot up. Look at the retro F4 wave. Reed was like $14 on multiple sites for literally years, but then his stock finally cleared out a few months ago and now he's going to $30-$40.

It's the NECA Street Scene Diorama. Has three levels. The backdrop is modular so you can put the doors and windows wherever you like, and it has a backdrop for the top level that can be reversed for either a daytime or night time scene. You can get it at bbts and probably Amazon. Got it a few years ago from my brother, it's honestly one of the better parts of my collection. I've been tempted to get a second one to extend out the display too.

Yeah. They've done several variants of it but the only other dios they've done are all very TMNT specific. I know the Street Scene was originally bundled with the Movie Turts when they were an SDCC exclusive, but then the recolored it as a more generic scene for the single release. I'm glad to have it but I would like some variety. It works well enough for super heroes and other characters in a modern setting, but I really should get something more sci fi oriented too for my Star Wars and other sci-fi franchises.

Only the SDCC stock will sell out. The GI Joe exclusives have been announced as going up for pre-order at Pulse, BBTS, and all the other usual places on 8/1, after the SDCC stock sells out. This is what they did last year with MLs, Death's Head was sold at the con and on Pulse afterwards, but after it sold out, a week or two later, it went up for pre-order at places like BBTS and released there later. I think I got my Death's Head in September or October, or something like that, when the show is at the end of this month. So I wouldn't stress too much about it.

Pretty good overall, but very annoying that she doesn't come with a right fist or left grip hand. Neutral head is fine, hair is not. Tempted to either swap the hair between the heads or grab the 3-pack head and swap the hair with that one. Will wait to see what the single carded one looks like. Also, the painted skin on the torso and pelvis needed another coat. Thanos is fine, not sure why they keep leaving out boot rotation on characters that have boots though

This new hulk looks fucking awesome, bros. I love his sculpt work (I think mezco should maybe drop the cloth work and just do plastic sculpts, IMO). Judging by the way his shoulders are, I think he'll be able to do his thunderclap pretty well.

Mafex 185 is kind of an exception here. It was a stripped down release compared to the previous release and then it was reissued enough times that stores accumulated enough stock to discount it further. Your average Mafex figure is at least $20 more than 185, even more for big characters. Bane was $90 I wanna say.

You're forcing this comparison to try and make Hasbro look like an inferior product, which it is. You're not highlighting anything everyone doesn't already know. You're not being clever and you're not being insightful. You're literally shouting the toy equivalent of saying fire if really hot.
