>>11498763
Oooh, thanks for the heads up. I knew that they had updated the site, but hadn't tried signing in yet. I just did the transfer, you punch in the email you used on the old site and they send you a verification code to complete the transfer. Worked without issue and I can see all my old orders from before the update.

I still need to order the Z'Gok E, but apparently there was a coupon for free shipping on Gundam stuff just before they updated the site and I'm a little annoyed I missed it, haha.

I've been buying all the sentinel SRW stuff. Soulgain's not my favorite design but its definitely the most fun one to pose so far since its not covered in pointy bits you have to worry about scraping each other.

I'm just hoping they announce an Alteisen and Weissritter at some point, they seem only interested in doing the supers despite the reals being some of the more popular designs too.

The SRC Alteisen and Weissritter are relatively in scale and look pretty nice with the Riobot offerings. But yeah if you're looking for a nice big version of those two then I get you. I think they've been doing some of the real robots from SRW in the Metal Robot Spirits line but my finger hasnt really been on the pulse of that stuff.

I have it and think it’s a good figure all around in my opinion. It has good to decent articulation, has a modest selection of accessories without feeling like it’s missing anything important, good premium finish/paint apps, even comes with a display stand/base.

It does have a few faults though. Some areas of articulation can be a tad lacking, for instance the head can’t tilt up and down very much. There’s also a risk of paint chipping/rubbing in certain areas. It’s good to be very gentle and cautious with it when posing. Diecast joints may wear out over time, and the composite shield booster is a tad too heavy for one arm to hold it at certain angles without additional support. And of course, the price.

I love it, but I’m biased towards AoZ designs and this one is actually my favorite. Ultimately it’s up to you if it’s worth it, but I haven’t been disappointed with it.

That being said…
Where’s our next AoZ MRD, Bandai? I need more.

Both my Robot Spirits Epyon and GU Epyon finally arrived and as expected the Robot Spirits is great, but I'm glad I kept my order for the GU after hearing people's thoughts here, since it turned out better than I expected. While the Robot Spirits obviously fits in perfectly with my previous stuff, I do like the size of this guy which is kinda what I've been looking for in terms of a big chunky version of the design, and the robust build makes it more fun to mess around with due to less moving small parts. So I went back and hunted down the GU Tallgeese too, just to have them displayed together.

Depending on how you plan to attach the Hrududu wing binders, it should work out. The head will be fine, and I know for a fact the Haze’n-thlay shares a good 85% of the Hazel as its base. I might try to mess with mine now to check just how compatible they are.

Feeling pretty chuffed, I just managed to grab a Guntank MP at what feels like a ridiculously cheap price, shipping included, thanks to conversion rates from my country's currency to yen. Very nice stuff indeed, that guy's been on my wishlist forever. In the meantime, I've got some silly questions and shit, namely:

>I can understand not making an ANIME Zock but why not an ANIME Guncannon MP?
Do they just not show up in 0080 enough? I know their apprearance was very brief but God damn.

>Is there a snowball's chance in hell of a rerelease for the AEUG GM II in any form?
I'm not crazy about the ballute system add-ons but I would prefer it over the EFF GM II if it's at all doable, ideally there'd just be a plain recolor. If I have to I am willing to just take the EFF GM II, still.

The blue one is heavier with everything attached but yeah it doesn't look like it will be an issue. Highly recommend a VF0 besides being a solid figure, the F14 Tomcat the VF0 was designed after has a legendary style.

That's basically every figure stand, it'll be fine as long as you don't overtighten the screw if it gets loose and hamhand it, they're more than durable enough.

Yes, that's what I was trying to say. I had written that I would prefer to get an AEUG GM II, although I was not interested in the ballute system add-ons, and that it'd be my preferred choice. I also wrote that if that was not possible, I'd just settle for the EFF GM II, which I know is available now. Sorry if my writing was not clear.

OK this is not ok. Not even all the SAP armor is attached and it leans because of the included stand attachment. All of the figures weight is being supported by this small U shaped connector that connects to the stand. Its fine without the armor but this just looks like it's waiting to snap. I am using the right attachment. The other is for batroid and one for gerwalk.
Anonymous No.11517339

Its not exactly falling off the stand but these bandai stages are probably not really enough for the heavier loaded up figures. I know this is normal for HI metal Rs but I have to angle the stand a certain way to eliminate lean and its very wobbly just due to the weight all being supported by a very small point. Just my opinion but this could be done better. Won't stop me from buying them its not a huge complaint.

So I took down my Wing Gundam for the first time in forever only to notice that certain parts of him have started to yellow. Mainly his legs and the white trim on his shield. I'm majorly bummed. Especially since he was never in any direct sunlight. It's just really weird how his shoulders and head are fine but his lower half is slightly yellowed now. Sucks. Guess this gives me the excuse to finally put together the MG I've had for a few years.

DESU all of the Metal Build Code Geass products end up having something loose or broken about them right out of the box. It's something about their design and the addition of diecast. Learned that the hard way with the Guren Type-08. Should have just gotten the model kit instead.

Yeah, I bought a preowned Metal Build Guren Seiten, advertised as good condition. The normal arm's balljoint cup was split, and the Radiation Wave Unit claw hand's balljoint cup was also split as well. Of course that meant they fell off the moment you so much as thought about posing them.

There's a reason why you see the Code Geass metal builds frequently put up on YJA and ebay, and it's not just because they're popular. Which is a crying shame because the designs are just so good.
