You're overestimating cookies and underestimating fans of actual comics. This look is often considered her definitive look by many. That alone made it highly desired. Then throw on the fact that the last time they did her in this costume it was as a part of con exclusive 5 pack that was extremely elusive and expensive on the aftermarket. I'm sure there's some coomers out there that are after this, but there are plenty of better options than Marvel fuckin Legends for coomerbait. Not many other options if you want a classic Emma Frost for your X-Men collection. Plus coomers don't deserve anything good.

the SDCC one wins by a mile due to the cleavage alone, Emma has to be the only character in Marvel that is defined by a cleavage more than anything, even more than her bob cut.
Luckily these weeks some braindead fucks will sell the SDCC one for cheap, time to collect these and build ultimate Emmas with new limbs to sell for $200 later.

Pigfaced? Retro Rogue unironically has a chubbier cheeks and a puffed out face. The only reason people wanted it is because of her suit hugging her boobs not because of that awful face. You're coping real hard with this one.

So called my 4 local stores. 3 said they had 0. 1 said they had 4 but the guy subtly hinted to me that he bought them all the day before ("It says we have 4 but someone may have bought them all yesterday"). I went anyway and sure enough 0.

In store is just not a good way to ever get figures in the modern era because you're competing against people who have made it their profession to be there when the store opens near daily around big releases and grab anything of value. I've been to Targets, Walmarts and comic shops many times and have only once ever found a figure I went there to get.

Lesson: If you don't get the preorder, major chance you just won't get the figure.

This '97 figure has best face of any Emma figure ever, and it comes with two of them. At the price, it outclasses the Hellfire boxset one in every way except the cleavage, which wasn't even that good anyway, her tits weren't big enough.

Literal who's jank review of a just arrived toy. Madame Masque has the outfit that only appeared in Bendis Iron Man, which seems like a weird decision instead of her 20th century mostly blue looks or her 21st one that she's even been wearing as recent as All-New Venom, but it also is the last time she had a real appearance in Iron Man, so maybe that was their reason why. She seems to have about the same range of mobility as other female Marvel Legends I have, but her torso seems to have more back movement and practically no forward while others seemed a bit more balanced there. By default she wears her normal masque. They went with the modern Iron Man glowing eyes look instead of having her eyes visible. The way mine printed, it almost seems like there is a faint impression of an eye on her right, but I don't think that is intentional since there is no pupil and the left isn't like that. The hair being sculped open means her head doesn't feel like fighting to turn unlike some others I have. While there is a belt, it doesn't have a gun holster. She has a rather lithe figure.

The "intended" head in use. The hair as expected gets in the way of mobility. While I get what the idea was behind it, having half of the facial covering being transparent feels like missing the point, and that applies to the toy version. It seems to have printed okay at least. Given the story it comes from, magical effects seem correct to use.

If we're getting technical Mephisto is based on Mephistopheles, a demon from German folklore. He isn't the outright devil, just a demon. I never understood why everyone refers to the comic character as the devil when he has clearly stated himself to be just a demon.

Looking to get into Legends but really want to be picky with what I buy. Is the Maximum line a good place to enter? Only 2 available figures and I will pick up future characters as they come out.

Hulk and Spider-man both interest me and both are $50 from Amazon. My LCS has Spider-man for $70 which seems too much.

I've read that Deadpool and Wolverine are the two rumored characters coming down the pipeline.

They're pricey sure, but not a bad place to start if you want deluxe versions of big name characters. They come with pretty much everything you'd want, and whole I personally may not like the Hulk heads, that's subjective. Someone else may like them, although I admit I don't think I've found anyone that does. Hulk is a tougher pill to swallow, but Spidey certainly isn't terrible. This is a terrible suggestion. While I actually do really like that particular figure, even by himself he's going for $40-$45 on the second hand market. At that point, spend the extra $10 and get the Maximum release. I find it ,ind boggling that you'll say the Maximum is overpriced and then in the very same post recommend a figure that comes with significantly less, and is on an older mold, but is only $5 cheaper.

There are no stock alerts. Target's website shows nothing but out of stock and popfindr shows 0 everywhere. Target intentionally blacked out the stock because they don't want people coming in constantly and telling employees to look in the back due to the numbers they saw on the internet when those numbers are never accurate and stores actually never know how many they have on hand at any given time.

Then you either didn't get any yet or they're already gone. I follow a local toy guy on IG who goes around and reports new stock showing up at various stores in my city. He just found a store freshly stocked. Be patient. If your town never received stock it's likely it hasn't hit stores yet. Look at Savage Land Charles. He didn't hit stores until a month or so after his supposed release date.

>Target intentionally blacked out the stock because they don't want people coming in constantly and telling employees to look in the back due to the numbers they saw on the internet when those numbers are never accurate and stores actually never know how many they have on hand at any given time.
As someone who worked at a Target once upon a time, I can assure you Marvel Legends exclusives are far from the most desired item they sell. Their staff is not getting harassed about this two pack nearly as much as they do for video game consoles upon release, or God forbid, Pokemon cards. It isn't a huge deal for them to answer the phone and plug a DPCI number into their handheld to see if they have any items on hand. I literally did it all the time when I worked there and I usually worked the electronics and toy sections. No one cared.

I was around for the Tickle Me Elmo meltdown, the Wii launch, and other such crazes. Marvel Legends are nowhere near that bad.

They've already hit my area and are gone, a target employee told me they had some but they sold out immediately. The website has never budged from this; I have a script that refreshes it for changes and alerts me if any happen. I've never seen a case where a figure doesn't show the shipping/pickup/delivery options at all ever since release except this one, which is why I say they're blacking it out.

They did something similar (not the exact same) with McFarlane's "in store" exclusive red Cyborg Superman after a few weeks of the options showing inaccurate numbers of how many figures they had that were in his case pack, not how many were actually there of him. They then zeroed him out at all locations. They didn't do this for any other figure that was part of the case pack, only him because the rest werent high demand, it doesn't make sense unless it was deliberate to avoid people rushing to stores and bothering employees.

>As someone who worked at a Target once upon a time, I can assure you Marvel Legends exclusives are far from the most desired item they sell. Their staff is not getting harassed about this two pack nearly as much as they do for video game consoles upon release, or God forbid, Pokemon cards.

>I've never seen a case where a figure doesn't show the shipping/pickup/delivery options at all ever since release except this one, which is why I say they're blacking it out
I have. I have a similar script that I use to check for stock refreshes and Targets site just sucks. Like I said, when I got my Rulk reissue, I went to one store that said they had it and the employee said they never did. Then I went to another store on a whim, on my way home despite the website saying it didn't have any, only to have an employee get one out of the back for me. She said they had four of them or something.

>They did something similar (not the exact same) with McFarlane's "in store" exclusive red Cyborg Superman after a few weeks of the options showing inaccurate numbers of how many figures they had that were in his case pack
Not everything is some conspiracy. These websites are just coded by jeets and are therefore, complete ass. You're overthinking things.

Yeah don't even bother with that page. Usually an item's page on the website will show options for pickup, delivery and shipping. Even if they're all out of stock those three options will still show and you'll still have the option of seeing what stores carry it even if they're out of stock. When they just do a big "out of stock" notice with no other options available, for whatever reason that's all it will ever show. The same thing happened with the Professor X even after stores kept getting tons of them. Even now the Professor X page shows its clearance price but still just says out of stock.

It's the same reason a grocery store does a big sale on soda to draw people in who will buy other things while there. It isn't a conspiracy. This is taught to even low level peon store managers. Usually on the bottom of the feet, so for any female characters that wear heels or wedges, it's put on the thigh instead.

Nice quints. He certainly looks good, but I really hate that they didn't give him a diaphragm joint if they were gonna sculpt a new torso anyway. Guess they're saving that for the Maximum release.

This is my only gripe. They shoulda made Dragonman the size of Giant-Man Haslab and the Giant-man the size of this Dragonman. Annoyingly backwards.
Otherwise looks great.

Little man and big man. This actually triggers some deep autism in me that these are in the same line. I don't like it.

Can I file them off with a 10.000 sanding sponge or does the plastic don't handle that well?

I don't see why not, might result in a different finish though.

I don't have any problem with this, he's clearly meant to be crouching all the time just like in the game, look how weird he is when standing. They did the same for Psylocke, her big ass depicts her in-game lordosis accurately.

Now, my question is, how they're gonna do picrel? His proportions are weird in any position, the figure will look like some early ToyBiz monstrosity.

He's definitely not as bad as Logan, but still looks off. It might be just because of the lack of scales on him though. Cap looks close enough that it isn't a big deal. Wolvie, not so much.

My issue isn't the height, it's the rest of his scaling being too large. His hands, feet, and head are just too big imo. As long as he's shorter than everyone else, the height is fine for me, but I can't unsee his oversized hands and giant head.

Yup. I cancelled my pre-order. I was already on the fence about this one since I already have 97 Wolverine who is pretty much perfect imo, I don't need this. If I didn't already have Silver Samurai I would be more about this set, but as it stands, it just aint worth it to me.
