I don't have many seamless figures and thus I can't quite compare, so take my opinion for what it's worth:

I expected the boobs and hips/thighs to be large based on photos, but their size becomes even more apparent in person.
Her body is harder and more frictionless than I expected. I only had a random 1/12 TBLeague and a 1/6 Playtoy Chun Li, and those two feel much like each other; Mai feels different to both in that sense.
I think her face is less expressive than the prototype. Sure, it was a neutral face from the start, but there seemed to be a hint of a suggestive expression, and the end product has none of that; she may even look 1% depressed, though eyeball position seems to play a part. Face may also be a shade darker than the body?
The instructions warn against undressing her. Belt has velcro and is easily removable, but the dress is sewn closed and not designed to be removable (good luck squeezing those massive tits or hips through?). The manual also warns that socks are hard to put on correctly because of the way the toe is sewn and advices not to take them off.
She's got 100% smooth tits and crotch, not even the slightest hint of nipple bump.
Dress is nice, with fine threads and seams, and clean patterns. The ribbon thing in the back is stuffed, with foam, I guess. The tail is very long.
She can stand on her own pretty well on standing poses, though the ankles have limited range forward.
She's 28,5cm tall, which technically puts her at ~1/5,8 scale, close enough to 1/6.

I'm usually of the mindset that Eastern/import designed figures are usually more attractive or coom-worthy, but anyone else notice how good face printing has gotten lately on Western/domestic ones? They've been making such pretty looking female faces. It's hard to capture in photos sometimes, but in-hand they look really good. Body wise there's still the usual weird articulation cuts here and there, mold flashing, and paint hiccups, but these girls have nice curves and Evil Lynn in particular is nice and big and sexy.

3d scanners are pretty good these days. smaller pieces obv are going to give you resolution issues but even that'll depend on your specific scanner.
I'm pretty sure that's how some of these customs are getting made anyway, scan the original part, model nips, resin print the new part.

Look at revopoint and creality for mini scanners, you should measure a faceplate and figure out what amount of accuracy you need.

Turntables are helpful even if its just a lazy susan from the kitchen table.

For 3d printers you can do fdm (anycubic, elegoo, creality) the ones with the filament roll and do more cleanup on it, or you can find a high res resin printer (i have elegoo saturn 4 ultra) where cleanup is not so intense but that shit is cancer so you need to wear a lot of PPE plus you have to use a wash/cure station before you can touch with bare hands, and when running you need to enclose printer (grow tent is good for this) and be filtering and venting the air out a window.

Maybe a small FDM printer for prototyping? For your final you could just use a resin print service so you don't need to breathe and touch the liquid cancer. I've heard you can actually do injection mold printing with an FDM printer, so might be worth looking into that too.

We've already had a few people say to avoid using sealant from a pot because it warped the plastic.
Spray sealant caused bubble effects.
Warm soapy water does nothing.
Rubbing the parts with a clean cloth + cleaning solution or alcohol peels off the thin layer of black paint revealing the grey underneath.

If your ok with the gun being grey and not leaving black smears over the figure then use a lite alcohol solution and rub the parts lightly till the 1st layer peels off

Finally got my mummy boobs. Added uncensored pics to booru.
My set seems to be fine for rhe most part no issue getting it attached. Color is a bit lighter than rhe torso but in most lights dont notice it too much. I suppose the smaller areolas are also just something to deal with. I still over all like the set

I have a suspicion that because it's GSC, it's uncured UV paint/coating sludge mixture. You could try hitting it with UV light and see if that stops it from transferring onto shit? But yeah if not you should strip it.

Got one more thing to point out that I pointed out when I was checking with my copy:

The shoulder clearances in the old upper torso were wide enough to allow for the arms to swing like a pseudo-butterfly joint, and to prevent breakage from hamhanding it forward or back. This clearance was gappy and needed some o-rings to cover it.

Figureworkshop's version instead has a simple socket all the way down. Secure though it is, there's a real risk of it leading to hamhanding accidents in the future, so I had to raise this potential issue to figureworks as well.
I think one solution is to develop a catchment around the socket to allow for the shoulder to move more widely without risking snapping and getting trapped inside.

I would think they'd need to go re cast just feet and guns for her and send them out, not just send the same exact thing they sent to everyone the first time. The guns should have been solid black plastic from the start, and they should have known about the high heels not being strong enough to stay straight. I think they're aware of it. Hopefully they fix it.

It's an issue with ALL the guns.
There all black or grey moulded. Then some retard at the factory decided to spray all the gun pieces with a thin poor layer of black which is what's causing the issue. If they didnt add that we wouldn't have this problem.

It's been mentioned on a few other boards. It's either 2 or 3 days but if you leave her standing on her own her heels WILL curl inwards/outwards depending on what pose you put her in.
Her heels are so shit that they cannot take the weight of the figure itself and will bend with 2-3 days if you display her without the base.

I have my figures in glass/wood cabinets and have all my girl figures together without bases because they take up additional room.
