Like what happened with Bring Arts Elena, Bring Arts Zack, Reno and Tseng got an early release or should I say they just arrived in time for their previous release date of July 30th, SE delayed the 3 to August 2nd according to their online store(JP)

Not really interested with Play Arts' scale, even years ago when I bought the AC, Game and CC Play Arts from FFVII, I only bought them because they are the only articulated figures of the series so these Bring Arts being 1/12/figma/Mafex/SHF ish scale is a dream come true line for me

From what I remember, PAKs and PAS aren't really 1/6 scale or Hot Toys scale, they are more like in a weird 1/8 ish scale, the old Play Arts atleast the game and CC versions of FFVII are around 1/10 ish and AC was kinda like 1/11 ish scale

Posechad fixed his Zack's bangs hanging lower, its perfect now

From what I read, the adhesive wasn't that strong

Still, collectors aren't supposed to do it as SE is charging premium for this line

I think what's throwing me off is that his goggles needs to be pulled down a little so it won't make his forehead too big, Bring Arts Cid has this problem unless you really jam in the top of his head unto the face

If I need to guess on which FFseries will get the Bring Arts treatment, I will bet its gonna be from post SNES FF era like FF8, FF10, FF12, FFXIII, etc as those FF lines have detailed character arts they can base the figures off from

Pre PS FF series does have Amano designs, yes but the sprites designs of the characters you see in the games vastly look different

Also it might be just me but I feel Amano's works doesn't translate well to poseable figure format

I really do wish SE makes a v2 of Cloud even if only bundled with a Chocobo with a smiling face like the og character art before they go do another FF series, he badly needs Zack's shoulder and hips tech to do better 2 handed poses with the Buster Sword

Cid has giraffe neck problems like Aerith has if you don't collapse/angle the neck joint right so most pics I see has him taller than Vincent, doesn't help that Cid is wearing a scarf to obscure his neck so its hard to notice if its posed right or wrong

Does anyone have Bring Arts Barret and the original FF7 Play Arts figures? I know they're slightly different scales, but I'm wondering if he might still look okay with my collection if I keep his legs together and stand him up straight? Always felt like he was missing from the squad.

On a side note, there's a 1/12 Noctis figure on aliexpress. It's meh as fuck, and it has soft goods with paint bleed, but it is still a fairly good 1/12 Noctis despite it all. I'm probably skipping it, though.

Looks like he doesn’t have ankle articulation, kind of like the Bring Arts figures, at least from what I can see in the pictures. That was really my only must have for getting it. He looks cool and all, but only having two faceplates instead of at least three, especially one with closed eyes, just doesn’t cut it. Plus, it seems like he’ll pose just as poorly as the Bring Arts, though probably not as awkward since you won’t have to keep messing with the hip joint. So, yeah, that makes it not worth it for me. It works, but bring arts are generally a bit lankier/smaller than figma, so it'll just look like they have tiny heads (dq/twewy/ff7) or huge heads (mana/ff9) on a figma body.

Unlike Bring Arts, PAKs are notorious for the final mass produced figure's faces being vastly different compared from the promo pics, that said this is a new line called Play Arts SHIN so that "may not apply" but just to be sure, wait till other fans/collectors get their copies first before you plunge, thats what I did before committing to the Bring Arts VII line, I waited for the final released product and made Tifa my catalyst, she turned out great so SE got my money...

Personally, I have not swapped heads yet between Bring Arts and figma figures, But from what I have seen, the pegs fit

Can't comment of the other Bring Arts line but for the VII series, they are on the smaller scale and they scale well with the older figma scale before they up their sizes

For the Bring Arts FF series, they have done VII, IX, XI, XIV and XVI

VII is the oldest SE has tackled so far, we haver not seen yet any SNES and Famicom era FF Bring Arts

It gets occasional baubles in Japan, but usually just the kid of dinky, collectible stuff they churn out for every entry to promote the pixel remasters or the franchise in general.

Outside of stuff like that, it's kind of weird how little merchandising there is for ANY entry, 1-6, in spite of the huge popularity of some of those games.

We didn't. It was just a rumor. And even then, an irrelevant one, because you're not going to convince me they made the Bring Arts toys and released them two years ago to hype people up for a game that wasn't coming out until 2025.

And if that was the case, there's no reason I shouldn't expect FFV to get Bring Arts figures in order to hype a project that isn't going to be officially anounced for another two years. But making toys to hype a video game definitely seems like a case of the tail wagging the dog.

Yeah, PAKs are notorious for having great looking promo pics and then the faces of the final mass released figures looks way different, this is the SHIN line though so maybe that might not happen, still much better to wait for others first to get their copies seemed the best way to go
