Neca has done some really impressive monster figures in the past. The king was their Lord of the Rings Balrog figure, which I don't have, although I love their 24" long Godzilla. I don't know what retailers would have shelf space for a 7" scale shark but that would be amazing.

The GI Joe Classified line has had some great animal figures, so far. Obviously Timber and the various other dogs in the line are great, although Crocmaster's crocodile is one of the best croc toys I've seen.

Got Jakks Knuckles in today. He's probably one of the weaker Sonic figures from them IMO, his arms are heavily limited and his head is effectively immobile. Still a fun little toy for £10 though, and I've got Sonic coming in soon so I'll have Team Sonic and Team Dark complete. And Cream and a dark Chao by themselves.

If anyone knows how i can get one of these, please let me know. From what I could find it's a garage kit from a con that seemingly sold out. Don't really give a shit about my hero but I have loved this character since her first appearance.

The big difference between The Bad Guys and Zootopia is that Zootopia had the advantage of coming out in 2016, before the unholy trinity of streaming, SJWs and covid poisoned the movie theater box office. The first Zootopia came from the peak of mega-blockbusters that made over a billion dollars each (before even adjusting for inflation), and the first Bad Guys was one of the first major animated movies to release after Covid ended. It did a respectable 400 million or so at the box office but that was over the course of several months, and just like the the sequel it did not open at the #1 spot which is a shame. Universal Studios still hasn't come around to doing simultaneous global releases on movies, either.

Without making any quality predictions I think Zootopia 2 will open at #1 and will cross the profit threshold fairly quickly, but that will mostly be because the first movie was a smash it. The Bad Guys 2 is building on a much smaller audience, many of whom probably saw the first movie on a streaming service and weren't going to go to the theater for the sequel even though it's an all around upgrade over the first movie. It's not fair but that's what the movie industry is like right now, even Pixar is struggling to get families back into the movie theaters instead of streaming.

Zootopia has incredible characters and a great story, on top of some wonderful animation and a world you can dig in to. There's no Jakks Sonic thread up at the moment, so this thread will have to do. Sonic figure collection thus far (excluding Dark Chao who's apparently been abducted by corner gnomes) along with vidya. Technically Sonic Advance 3 is my wife's and I do have Mega Collection for Gamecube, but the disc for that is borked beyond recovery so I left it out.
NGL I really like these little guys. They could be better for sure but for what they are they're fun, and infinitely better than the shit Jazwares gave us.

If it's any consolation, now is definitely the time to start collecting furry girls as they're starting to actually be a thing now. There's KEYAKI hobby, Ladotoys of course (they have a cat up for sale now if you haven't seen), and Aoshima's Kemopla model kits are still making the rounds here and there as can be seen upthread. Snail shell has their tiger girl, and they showed of a fox chick ages ago, though we've heard nothing about her since. Maestro union has a leopard girl they showed off a long time ago as well, hopefully they get to her soon.
So yeah we have some options, and more should be just around the corner! I'm just starting my collection in earnest as well.

He has a lighting effect? All I remember him coming with is his sword, some fire breath piece, and a fire effect that clips onto his neck. Otherwise it's exactly the same mold, no electronics added.
