I've got them all except Zarak the gobbo dude, and yeah, they are nice. Elkhorn is the most impressive. The amount of accessories he comes with is insane. Grimsword is probably the least impressive. Warduke and Strongheart are both pretty good, but come with less stuff than Elkhorn.

Also forgot to mention, the 50th anniversary versions in your pic are cheaper, but come with less accessories and alt hands. Elkhorn especially feels lacking compared to his Ultimate version. I don't own any of those ones.

I still haven't even opened my HISS Tank and my backlog of Classified figures just grows by the day. I don't even wanna mention the boxes of various 1:18 stuff I haven't opened yet due to lack of space. Buying that dragon is probably the worst best thing I've ever done.

Silver Knight LBs are starting to ship out to people now, being just a single figure these guys should move pretty quickly. But I'd still expect a week or so before getting them as they're still shipping out the first round of Test Shots and the next round will go up for sale this weekend.

Oh those guys looks great, I'll be getting way more of them then I did the Roman figures. It helps I'm currently mid Conan kick and could use some stand ins for Aesir pigs and Vanir dogs for Conan to battle.

You guys reckon boss fight figures are well made enough to justify an inflated UK price? They are about $60 here and I'm finding it difficult to pull the trigger, they give me the impression of like better executed hasbros, am I off the mark on that? I really suffer badly from the opportunity cost of spending money on stuff, instead of saving for "possible" upcoming figures that I may want more or are better value, do any of you struggle with that? Like I find it so hard to buy a cheaper figure, because I just think to myself that is X pounds I could say to put towards some dream figure that might be around the corner. Such a loser.

Which ones? The Skeletons? No. I love their boney dudes, but there is no way they are worth twice American retail, especially when they are so light weight that I can get two shipped to Australia for $9 from BBTS.
Red Sonja and some of those Court of the Dead ones are close to $60 on BBTS. I think the cheapest CotD is $45.

Pretty much. Red Sonja is the only non skellie I've handled, and it felt like a Marvel Legend but slightly better. Also remember they aren't produced in anything close to the quantities that Hasbro shit is, which will drive up the price per figure, so a direct comparison with Hascrap isn't really fair value wise.

I'm with >>11531157, Boss Fight's stuff *is* very nice, but it's not twice the price nice. I waffled for a long time just to pay the $40 they're asking for some of their upcoming figures, so I'd never suggest someone pay $60+ for em.

Again, they're actually *really* nice generic figures, well made, solid joints, good sculpts, lots of gear...but they're still fairly cheap feeling and looking. Comparing them to Hasbro's stuff isn't far off, they're fairly comparable to some of the better Marvel Legends figures though not quite up to snuff when compared to Classified's output.

As for spending habits, I honestly feel I do the opposite, where I'll buy lots of cheaper crap figures instead of saving up for single, bigger, better offerings. My latest example of this is the McFarlane Ciri I just got from Amazon for like $8 bucks. She's not a bad figure, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for her. But I should have just ignored her to help pay for so many other things I already have on pre-order.

So shipping for the AS6 Storehorsemen preoders is officially finished, so street date for the AS6 Retailer stuff got moved up to today. BBTS already charged me for my Gorthokk (once someone pointed out Shadow Orcs were the Legion version of Uruk Hai, I needed to build a squad of em) so if you bought them outside of the 4H official shop, they should start shipping soon. Or if you want to buy them from standard retailers, they should be up as in stock as of now.

Yea, international issues are always rough to deal with. It's one of the reasons I cut back so much on JP figures, shipping prices just made em not worth it most of the time. I mean, I remember international shipping being a huge problem with collection twenty years ago, but today is honestly pretty absurd what some people have to deal with.

Still, if you can find McFarlane Ciri for cheap with not awful shipping, she's surprisingly decent.

Well I fucking hate myself even more. Had my Conan posed and accidentally caught his leg when reaching for something, he fell forward onto his face and dented his nose. It's incredible how I ruin fucking everything.

You might have been a bit overdramatic, but sometimes it hurts when you break a figure and you need to vent a bit. Fuck, the last figures I broke (MOTU Origins glowie Skeleton Warrior. Both of them. Same fucking knee on both) literally haunted my thoughts for weeks and made me paranoid to open any figures until earlier this week.
I'd be having a great day, and then the randomly intrusive thought of "YOU SNAPPED THEIR KNEES YOU FUCKING HAMHANDS" would pop into my head and bring me down. Maybe venting would have prevented that.

My issue with the Skeleton Warriors is that it has long sold out. I'm sure BBTS would have replaced it if I had opened it when I first got it instead of putting it in my "rainy day" pile to open later, and I'd feel like an asshole contacting them months later about it. I've got a second one that I am going to be super careful and preemptively give shock oil and a hot bath. I'll either Frankenfix them or leave them as battle damaged amputee horrors.
Fun fact: both Skeletons had the hollow pin issue that the Legions Poxxus wave was notorious for. And I have now officially broken double the amount of Origins figures compared to Mythic Legions, because I only ever hamfisted one shield.

After seeing the Jersey Devil loadout, I just checked the contents of the gnoll/hyena guy from Reign of the Beasts because it's a recent non-human figure, and he doesn't appear to have vertical wrist hinges. I've got three of it preordered and I supposedly can't cancel. I guess I'll have to headcanon that, as animal hybrids, they are terrible wielders.

I guess so. I'm not remotely a whale, but I'm a regular customer in the store where I preordered them and they'd probably agree to refund me to store credit if nothing else, but whatever. I will headcanon that their human-animal paws have clumsy wrists and that's it.
The whole problem is retarded, though. Looking at pics, it appears that even the flagship figure in the wave, the lion god dude, may still lack the vertical wrist hinge that allows to handle weapons.
I can't wrap my head around how these dudes keep making such a noob mistake after decades of specific work on weapon wielding characters. He-Man's iconic power-up pose has him raise his sword up, for crying out loud!
