Several Metal Build/GFF Metal Composite figures still available on US P-Bandai.

GFF MC Wing Gundam Zero Rebellion:

MB 1.5(EYES) Gundam:
https://p-bandai.com/us/item/F2743601001

GFF MC Char's Zaku II, High Mobility Type:
https://p-bandai.com/us/item/F2802030001

I read that the Zaku II that Char pilots during Gundam Origin is a High Mobility Type but with the extra verniers stripped off, is that accurate? A good looking Zaku all the same, glad to see it includes the anti-ship rifle. Passing as I already have Char's standard Zaku II and a Black Tri-Star HM Type, but a nice option for those who missed out.

Settled for this pose, at least until his black brother arrives. Which might take forever since there's been no update since his annoucement. I wanted to include the manta ray but it won't hold properly unless the bigger support pole is used, which was already in use by the ninja. There's support to put it parallel with the ground on the base but it wouldn't be nice as I placed him on a high shelf

I don't think I can even take it out, there's nothing thin enough lying around for me to even try prying it out
Was wondering if I could glue the rest of the broken peg back on and then pull it out after it dries but it's easy to imagine how that will go wrong

Fuck sorry to hear that. While it does suck is the figure damaged?
I rarely keep my MB in any sort of stressful angle due to the fear of that happening.
Anonymous No.11539514 >>11539529 >>11539555
>>11539510
superglue something to the peg to pull it out, or if you have a dremel, drill a tiny hole, stick some kind of metal in there and pull it out.

You can sand it down and reattach it using the glue.
Anonymous No.11539529
>>11539511
No the rest is fine
Well at least this particular MB isn't that rare or expensive and it isn't one of those figures that are complete ass at balancing on their own like the CCS Cybuster

>>11539514
The superglue isn't working and even if I buy a drill to get it out I'm not really seeing any replacements or substitutes for this particular piece

Maybe my OCD will win out and get me to buy a replacement for the entire thing or get the QanT Full Saber instead. Wonder if anyone locally would be willing to buy this MB. Though I recently splurged for a camera...
Anonymous No.11539534 >>11539555
>>11539492
Unbend a paperclip, heat it up with a lighter or something and jam it into the broken piece, wait for it to cool down and you'll be able to pull it out, then trim down the paperclip and you can repair the stand with the clip for added strength since superglue alone won't hold it.
Anonymous No.11539548 >>11539555
>>11539510
you can definitely dremel it out but I don't think I would trust any fix for the stand anons here are suggesting, MBs are way too heavy it could snap right off and go tumbling off your shelf

Thanks for the suggestions bros. I think I'm just gonna resign here and wait until this either stops bugging me or pushes me to get a replacement.
Annoyingly enough I don't think even a drill + metal rod substitute would work in this specific scenario

As long as it isnt damaged youre fine. It REALLY sucks but nothing you can do about it. I just wish these base connectors were made of better material since i always felt like it puts a shitton of stress onto that small peg.
Anonymous No.11542005 >>11542414
>>11536757
There's no part for it, you can just screw the rod directly into the part you put where the handle is stored. The small metal rod won't hold it very well

I just used the plastic adapter for the small manta base, it holds surprisingly well, but being plastic I am afraid it will weaken over time

>plastic adapter for the small manta base
That's what I meant. You should use the bigger rod to hold the manta ray, the thinner one will likely go down with time because of the weight. Not that it can't happen with the big one but it feels sturdier. You can unscrew the adapter meant for the ninja that is on the big rod out of the box
What do you think of it overall ?

I think the figure is great, althought the Moshow mechas I have are bigger, cheaper and I feel I get a lot more for my money.
In any case, it's a solid figure, good articulation and the joints feel sturdy (the magnets on his feet feel very weak though). The light up gimmick is cool, even if I'm never foing to use it, and the manta touch activation really impressed me, first time I see it in a toy.

Got steel haze ortus today. The unpainted blue parts don't look as bad in person as they do on promo pics. The unpainted white parts look slightly worse though.
