Not the anon you're answering to, but really ? Some of my favorite figures are Kamen Rider Figuarts and I have never watched a single episode of any show apart from the old Saban Black RX and Shin Kamen Rider (which I didn't really enjoy). Does that mean that I will never watch a Kamen Rider series ? No, but I can enjoy them for what they are, and their awesome design. Fuck Zeztz's design though.

Not having neck articulation is really bad, and the chest looks werid with how low the cut is. Fucking unbelieveble the cheaper RAF has better porportion and articulation, I might get both, repaint the RAF and put the SHF head on the RAF body.

I feel you. Besides bujin sword, I bought metal cluster hopper and espada with no knowledge of the shows. I mulled over it with metal cluster and espada originally but I stopped caring after a certain point and just went off of cool design.
I should mention though that I did cancel my zets PO today because the figure itself doesnt look that great as a toy after seeing more pics of it. Design cant carry a toy THAT far for me.

Nah, you're wrong. Geats's line was called Revolve Change Figure (RCF), Gotchard's line was Souchaku Henshin, and Gavv's line is Kamen Rider Action Figure which is continuing with Zeztz. There's no "RAF."

Yeah, as someone buying into the hype for Zeztz, I'm a little letdown with the articulation choices myself. I get wanting to maintain the overall silhouette as much as possible, but there had to be a better way to handle the neck and foot articulation.
I still may get it later down the road, but I'm definitely not in a hurry now.

I'm kinda grateful many people think Gotchard sucks (They are wrong though in my world). It makes the second-hand Figuarts affordable as heck.

That's very ymmv, Japanese secondhand stores vary wildly in prices between each other. Some stores still sell Geats figuarts for twice the price they currently go for, there's a reason no one picks those up.

People on jp twitter haven't been too happy about this, some saying they'll quit collecting and a lot of folks upset at the price. It's understandable though, some people don't collect Yu-do's and some don't collect Minipla so this set is a hard sell for completionist. At least when they did it in Zenkaiger it was a side character.

Livin in Japan and I wanted to get the SHFSS Gokai Red and I think I might of been given a bootleg from Amazon. (pardon the no hands)

I checked with youtubers at the time who got them and they seem similar enough, and checking my legit SHFSS, the seals seem to be right. but I also notice he doesnt have the red caps on his heel joints, just an open area. and the soft rubber red parts are a desaturated purplish red.

This doesn't have a bootleg atm but part of the reason I sold mine was because of some of those issues you have here, the paint chips off if rubbed against the rubber torso for too long, this same problem exists on SHF Kamen Rider Vice, his chin and rubber scarf can melt into each other. The multiple shades of red are because it's using a mixture of different plastics and rubbers molded in red, if they painted them to match it would have looked better but also would have chipped. From what I remember there is no red cap, it supposed to be like that for the articulaion. That being said I think you got someone's return and swap, they returned it to amazon for a refund or for a new one, send it back if you can and buy it elsewhere.

when was the last time Bandai released a "complete DX set" of something? the last I can think is like, the Zyuden Batteries.

Would love a complete set of Gochizou, without paying scalper prices. I've been able to get most of them from the stores, but the ones that get sold out the fastest was the dumb blind bags.
