Anyway, last time I made a CC Toa team, I gave Kapura a Ta-Koro guard pike/poker, Hafu a chisel spear, Taipu big fists, Kopeke a pair of ice carving knives/blades, Tamaru a boomerang, and Maku a Ga-Koro fishing staff.

No. Hordika faces have a 1W slot to connect the "brain stem", Piraka skulls are basically Metru heads with a longer neck and built-in mouth attachment, so the part of it where you can connect a pin is 2W.

What you could do is use two 1x2x0.5 liftarms (or really any similar connector of your choice) to connect between the inside "brain cavity" of the Piraka skull and the Hordika face. It'd be a bit fucky and you couldn't insert transparent eyes without some sort of horrible bar gore, but that way you could have one of the Hordika faces without a clearly defined mouth area (Matau, Nokama) on top of the Piraka mouth for a custom Skakdi.

Unless you have your own factory it's not even remotely possible to mass-produce them. One person might be able to afford and keep a single injection molding machine and produce different parts in batches, but certainly not enough for a full set considering the time and cost required just to make each mold.

A better method would probably be to design sets made mostly of Technic components and source those in bulk from a chink company (there are some pretty good quality ones out there), with the important stuff like masks being homemade. This is something I've considered doing myself someday but it's a huge undertaking that I'm not sure I have the ambition for.

A fair few odd pieces, for one completing this martian I have is a goal, making a space mining train and a weird centaur mech using that one Galidor wand as the spear of Longinus is another, getting a bit of 3d printing working, and having some interesting parts, usually am more active on the regular lego general but the eternal war is having me post here a bit more. For Bionicle mocs, I think Rahi and more weird vehicles compatible with sorts simple not super greebled out toa is a general idea I wanna play with, besides stuff like “What if Takua became a normal toa?”, also cleaning all the bricks I have and sorting out broken or bootlego stuff
