I'd like to know what kind of chemicals are used in Hasuki figures that make them smell so weird. With most domestics like Marvel Legends, GI Joe Classified or McFarlanes, and even normal imports like Mafex or SHFiguarts, when I open the box I smell nothing. With MOTU I tend to smell a vague smell of pencil shavings.

However when I opened my recent Hasuki figure a disgusting, strong odor emanated from it. Most collectors, including me, would definitely agree with that sentiment. However, even smaller brands still cannot help but notice trends, so it's not surprising seeing them try to have more than one niche to make profits. I can appreciate that and it's why I brought up four horsemen. to be fair, I don't actually collect mythic or cosmic legion but my understanding is they do genuinely come in waves and cycles so at any given point in the year you can be expecting a new mythic drop, or new cosmic drop, or figure obscura reveal, so that one leads into the other and while they're hitting different niches it doesn't seem like they build up one only to undercut it by shifting gears just because. Maybe I misunderstand their release habits but I feel like a lot of smaller eastern figure companies are just wait for news, preorder when available which usually happens suddenly, and wait for the next bit of info at the company's leisure and whim, without much cohesive direction behind what they're making at any given time.

Yes she does, the xesray figures are solid. Only complaint is that they paint the figures instead of using colored plastic and shading it. I'm really hoping that they don't do this for this next wave of female combatants.

She is here, and she is very close to being perfect in my eyes, but the gimmicky over complicated moving pieces on her torso kinda hurt her, specially they way they implemented her "butterfly joints" as small balljoints that are easier to move than her shoulders, so you are mostly moving her arms from the butterfly balljoint and not her shoulder.

ALL the transparent bits attached to her body (not arms or legs) are soft plastic, so the shoulders, neck and shoulder blades have this weird faux muscle simulation that kinda just limits how much you can move her neck. for example she has a plastic bit that attaches from the back of her neck down to her shoulder blades and goes around attaching to the arms

Tamiya Weathering Master is good stuff but for what it's worth, it's more economical to buy decent quality artist's chalk pastels and shave a little bit of powder off, as it's essentially the same stuff. I'm using a Mars 4 Max i got myself on prime day for a birthday present, i seriously recommend getting resin printers for stuff with a lot of tiny details like accesories for figures and other stuff like that, the one i got was about 200usd but it's great quality actually! really good investment, plastic is more for bigger pieces like cosplay and other things like that

the program Lychee is very user friendly, but if you're gonna get into it, i suggest investing in a curing and wash station, it's like a second part of the printer which cleans excess resin and makes cures it so it's no longer wobbly, however, make sure to have them in a well ventilated area or a garage if possible, resin has a particular smell and fumes, but the printer i got came with a filter that aids in that!

I should clarify, the station is not necessary but greatly recommended, you can cure your pieces with a uv lamp or placing them in water in the sun, and washing them with IPA with a brush by hand... but that's tedious, some people get hypersonic cleaners but honestly, at that point the station is a better investment

Can confirm, wash and cure station is a lifesaver. Especially the curing booth, honestly- having an all-around UV curing setup with a timer is so much better than the ghetto solution I had before.
Also I cannot stress this enough, do not cheap out on resin. You can get really good resin for not THAT much (£40 a bottle or so)- don't be tempted by cheap shit!

I've done a bit of digging for you, and I can't find anywhere that has it for preorder. I did find out that it is being manufactured by Executive Replicas, so maybe they will sell them on their site after backers get theirs shipped, which seems to be happening very soon since production is now complete.
Alternatively, you could try contacting Dan Mendoza via the email addy he included in his most recent Kickstarter update and ask really nicely. Maybe offer to give him pleasure for a night.

The outfit is split up into 4 sections.
The white lower half of the body which I could only add if I removed the top half of the figure.

Then you have the black robe outfit which has a velcro back to it but then stops at the waist. You need to push half the body up in the middle then put the missing top body half in at the top via the back.

Then push the arms through the sleeve and clip then back into place and put the velcro back.

The legs then need the stockings added. For me it was difficult because my legs peg in due to the figure.

The habit then doesn't look much like the advertising pictures and struggles to stay on.

She, Tonia, and Liya were all designed around the same time, given all of their silhouettes were visible on the website before being filled in (as opposed to the other two characters, who are still generic outlines rather than defined ones, as seen here >>11558968).
I suspect she was made specifically to be the 'safe' option in case Liya wasn't received well - but since people loved the fox, they went straight to the next furry girl instead. Daisy's just the last design they had left for this wave of characters, and now that they know furry will sell, I wouldn't be surprised if the two unknown characters who - as far as we know - don't have a finalized design yet end up being proper furries too. Or at least one of them will be; I'm fairly certain we're going to end up with a human male character at some point for all these females to play off of.

One, anything that's mostly a literal horse is going to require a lot of plastic to make and cost a lot of money to engineer, especially since these are actual figures and not mostly kits.
