Does anyone have any Extreme Sets stuff? I'm looking to get into action figure photograghy but I don't want to build a bunch of stuff.

These are CARDBOARD and they charge like $80
wtf??

Like I couldn't just print a design and do it myself. They should be $20 at most greedy bastards.

Yeh, but would you? Do you have a big ass printer and the proper paper?

I think the people who make cardboard sets make quality stuff and with the labor involved and higher costs from being a small business, I guess the prices do make sense. But still I can't bring myself to pay that much for cardboard. Whatever I make myself for free or a fraction of the cost might be inferior but would still be serviceable. Alternatively you can just use a digital background from your computer so long as you have a camera with depth of field though those "digiramas" aren't as impressive.

I bought one set and use it for sci fi interior architecture backgrounds all the time. For high quality prints of all the little wall details it looks good. Anything other than some high tech sci fi/cyberpunk facility you're better off making your own.

See that to me looks really detailed but that makes the flatness more apparent. It seems like something more animated would look best.

They are super detailed and great, but I agree they are overpriced.

If interested I got 3 or 4, 1 was opened and only displayed at a show. That I will let go at a deal.

Mine are the 1/18 scale version.
