Have they upped their QC at all? These guys look kinda nice (a little mushy/soft on sculpt, though...) but I bought some of the early TMNT stuff, and they had really warped weapons, kinda poor paint, and such floppy thigh articulation, that they couldn't even stand on their own. Really discouraged me from getting any of their other stuff, even at the consistent 50%-70% discount these figures usually sit at.

They didn't improve anything. And worst of all they used a rubber that tears and cracks easily. They also come with no accessories and the weapons are undersized. There's a reason nobody talks about them. They're way overpriced for what you get, too.

There was plenty of praise for the when they came out in the TMNT thread. But you have to sperg out and shit on any praise for them, that’s why people just gave up at a certain point. You tell people who clearly own them that they’re terrible figures, but have provided no proof that you own them. Do you see why people think you’re a troll?

Current favorites are the Sesame Street and Godzilla reaction lines. I do buy the o-ring joes, but they're kinda mid.

While I'm waiting for OP to provide a source (nothing on google), I did find this fun post from plebbit of all places on a Glassdoor review from an employee

Presented without greentext:

Super7 Glassdoor Post - Buyer Beware!

Recent post on Glassdoor about Super7. Beware of supporting this company. From connections internal it sounds like this is all true

Posted Dec 2nd, 2024

Title An utter Joke of a company. Don’t even think about it

Pros Discount on products for employees.

Cons Super7 is overseen by a married couple who come from privileged upbringings, and are incapable of running a business. They are entitled children who have no regard for the well being of their employees, and use people however may benefit them. Impulsive, petty, and inept, working for them is a nightmare of instability. A month of mass hires is followed quickly by a month of mass layoffs. Everyone who has worked here for some time has come to realize that “leadership” is clueless. No one should trust these two people.

Unlike a publicly owned company, Super7 has no such group like a board of shareholders that might collectively run the business with a consensus. Instead the pair that run Super7 rule absolute, their word is final, and the staff must act on their impulses with no one to keep them in check. From my time at Super7 I can legitimately say that it has become obvious that the only few employees who have been able to retain their jobs are those that will not voice their opinions but instead only echo and validate the opinions of management.

This reality of the owners only surrounding themselves with yes-men has, year after year, resulted in poor decisions, and a continued net loss. Super7 has never seen a profit in the time I have been with them. Projects that will knowingly lose money are greenlit, and when that inevitable outcome happens, the “solution” time after time is to layoff the lowest level employees. In early 2023 Super7 sought out an angel investor to save the company from bankruptcy. This investment firm installed several of their own high-paid executive positions. At the time, with this influx of funding, and an injection of “professionals”, the staff assumed Super7 had course-corrected and was on the path to profitability. Fast forward to late 2024, and more layoffs...

So what is it like working for Super7? You are expected to perform as if you personally have a stake in the company, and yet there are no discernible benefits to this. I have never received a raise, not even a cost of living increase after years of employment. There is no transparency regarding how the company is doing. On the contrary, the only communication from the owners is that everything is great… until it suddenly isn’t. There is no infrastructure. There is no HR. No IT support. No Management support, let alone a company culture. No training, no career path. A total dead end. After time, every day at Super7 feels like being used.

My advice to anyone who found their way to this statement who might be enticed by the “coolness” of the Super7 products that they see online is: keep looking. I have seen too many people in good faith put their trust in Super7, only to find themselves unheard and unemployed. Don’t do it. I am getting out as soon as I can. You don’t want to work for sociopaths. Don’t make the mistake I made. Super7 is a sinking ship that no one should join.

Advice to Management

Call it quits. You failed. Use your money some other way instead of willingly destroying people’s lives. Purchase real estate or something where your failures are not directly tied to derailing people’s careers.

The worst figures I've ever bought from Ninja Turtles. Poor articulation, the torso is made of very rigid plastic that causes the joints in the legs and arms to rub against each other. I feel like they're only good if you like the 2003 version.

I returned them because Leo and Donnie were breaking at the torso.
Thanks for using my shots, Anon. I didn't think many people would like them. KEK

I bought the three Iron Giant ones; I have no intention of keeping them in the package but haven't had a chance to open them up yet - I just got the third one about three weeks ago, I've been trying to get them for essentially retail and am annoyed to have heard that they were in Ross' on the east coast.

I have no interest in any of the other ReActions, personally, mostly because I limit what I collect - I do wish they were closer to $8-12 because $20 is too expensive.

If SpinMaster can do these Retro Superman Movie figures similar to ReActions, Super7 is never going to get too many people to buy theirs at almost twice or more as much.

I sometimes see ReActions on sale. I have seen them at Ross - but never a character or franchise I would EVEN CONSIDER to get as say a minion or background character for the toys I collect. But generally, at a Target or GameStop, they are $19.99 and probably higher with the idiot's tariffs for anything made that's come through port since probably April or May.
And don't try to get this shit online, now that Crapazom is allowing scalpers to even sell "used, good condition" toys and essentially decided to go and try to put eBay out of business as well. WalMart is no better since they've been doing that shit for at least two years if not longer.
Even toys which are new/recent releases, like tie-in to summer movies, and which are fucking WALMART exclusives, you can only find listed on their fucking website from scalpers charging 25-75% markups even the week they were supposed to officially be available to their own fucking customers.
