The problem with both my Swoop (Toy/G2) and other NA products is that even if you tighten the thigh swivel via the screw, rotating it makes the screw rotate along with it, unscrewing it and making it useless. Unlocking the thigh for dino mode also makes it worse. I don't want to have a screwdriver every time I mess with that figure, which is a shame because I love their G2 Swoop.

Recently got the FansHobby Armada collection, of Nemesis, Overload, and Spacewarp/Astrotrain, along with the Star Saber, Skyboom Shield, and Requiem Blaster. Optimus is overall great, aside from the sort of naff Mini-con. Overload is perfectly alright. My main issue is with Spacewarp/Astrotrain; Shuttle is good, leg mode is great, the individual robot mode is stumpy, difficult to keep together, and is missing some tabs that would keep some of the panels a bit tidier.

But, it's got a serial number on the waist panel, where Optimus would plug in. Mine says 1/600, which is kinda neat? If anyone else here was dumb enough to get this figure, could you check your serial number?

Not exactly 3rd party. But I have a soft spot for 90's bootleg transformers. You don't see as many these days. There used to be some really high quality knockoffs back in the day, but modern official hasbro transformers are now at the quality of those old bootlegs, sometimes even worse now, which I guess put the bootlegs out of business.

But there was a line of 90's transformers like toys that were all the same pull back pickup truck with chrome guns that peg all over it, just molded in different colors, red, blue, yellow, etc. Does anyone have any clue what I mean? Came on a blister card, was sold at the 99 cent store before dollar tree existed.

Gotta be honest anon, idk what it is with SD combiners specifically, but I really don't mind them having a frame like this. Maybe it's just being used to SD Gundams that are openly toys, I dunno, but that's a lot less egregious than most combiner frames these days. In fact, aside from the body section that's what older combiners used to be, add on head, hands, feet, and accessories (wings, in this case).

As for the faces, that's just the Chinese style really, love it or hate it.
