I still think Mao was the cutest design overall. The block 2 S bodies are pure loli goodness and I hope they'll make more appearances. I liked all the designs and I'm a bit sad that the line seems to be coming to an end. I really love the way Blade draws eyes and got the eye decal sets for each kit just to have lots of extras.

I still don't get who this line is for. Assembling a base body and a weapon isn't hard. With this you get the base body and sword for 13 kY, when the kit version was 9kY and gave you an almost silly amount of armour and a shield to boot. Granted that also made for more detail paint and quite a few decals, but it's not like you had to do all that. Why pay an extra 4 kY for half a kit and some Chinese labour?

So my Little Red broke not long ago. I tried repairing the joint with plastic cement and even epoxy putty, but the result is quite fragile and probably won't last.
Is there any place where I can purchase the runner/piece, a 3D printed replacement or something of the sort?
I do have three other models from the Chaos and Pretty line, two of them still unassembled. I checked the part list and they do have the runner, but only one. So at most I could use some blue stuff and UV resin to replicate the piece, but if I can buy a safer piece I'd much rather go with that.

I'm coming at this as a longtime Gunpla guy where new kits are usually pretty easy to get, with exceptions like the first couple kits for a hot new series.

So maybe the problem is that 30MS fans, on top of being a much smaller group, are more likely to order from an importer than Gunpla fans? As for markup, it really depends heavily on market and situation. I remember that when Gunpla first officially appeared in Poland, they would cost absurdly high, HG could cost equivalent of (then) 30-40$. When initial enthusiasm fades, they started to drop in price and now same kits can cost half that price and importing anything else than MG and Koto kits makes little sense. But Kotobukiya in European stores cost up to five(!) times they cost in Japan so Mandarake/HLJ/Suruga is a must.

So, apparently the clear plastic she uses is just as brittle as your normal clear plastics used in joints, wich means over time tension makes it start cracking. I recommend anyone that has her to shave her tail and wing joints down loose and apply some varnish to re tension them to avoid breakage.

it depends in what you want. Acerbys and spinatias give you good mecha limbs that look good with the girls since they are more human but those kits are light in accesories or armour parts. The Acerby kits were specifically made to be cross compatible with 30MS kits. Beyond that it gets dicey. I actually got a Spinatia with the goal of replacing the torso with a 30MS torso, but it didn't work. The neck was wrong, the thigh connections were different, the two kits didn't want to go together.

both 30MM and 30MS use the same size ports, so there will be a lot of cross compatibility with options kits. But remember that shoulder pads, chest plates, face armor, etc may be tricky because those pieces were designed specifically to go over other specific pieces. But things like wings, backpacks, weapons, those should be OK.

I'd say that if you want to make a Mecha Musume 30MS, step one is buy an Acerby. Parts will swap over as if it was another 30MS kit, and they will work basically as adapters for a lot of 30MM stuff that won't work well with a base 30MS kit

Most 30MS sisters legs, with the exception of the loli sisters (they fit, but they don't look very good) . Even the acerby legs will fit well.
You can use the short (not loli) sisters legs (Luluce, Siana-Amarcia) to make a shortstack. That's according to my experience. I have the nightmare costume and fits well with Luluce's body parts, but if you want to fully replace the legs with the thigs it will look a bit disproportionate (ass too fat, thigs a bit thin)

I usually seam weld the upper and lower thigh and lower leg separately and put things together and sand after the glue has dried. If, like this kit, the knee and lower leg are a subassembly, I find it helps to work the joint back and forth a couple minutes after applying the glue, that will bust any sticky spots loose before anything sets.

As long as it's not sis-t or sis-m you should be fine. The actual sis-a limbs seen with tiasha/falfarina might be a little odd too.
You can also use 30mf legs, but the thigh/shin balance is a little different, and since sis-h thighs (such as with aider) are thicker than average for 30ms you might need to tweak the uppermost part of the 30mf leg to reduce stresses.
