Tifa with a new hat edition!

My conspiracy theory is that someone from SE(or someone is reporting to them) is browsing /toy/ and always proves me wrong lol, really thought the line ends with Bring Arts Cloud Hardedge version but here we are, Tifa now gets the "new hat" treatment, would have been a no brainer preorder for me if it was the Premium Heart instead, now I will contemplate if I can fit it into budge just for the new face(they probs added it to hook in fans of hers as just a new weapons isn't going to cut it), I wonder if any other character with also get this "new hat" treatment, my guess is Aerith. Still incase she is the last, atleast the numbering will end with 20

That's a (you) problem. I get free delivery on top of it, but if it makes you feel better, I actually did pay full price before it dropped on AliExpress. That's what I'm doing with the Hard Edge Cloud right now. I'm waiting for AliExpress to offer him so I can dodge tax and shipping on it. It's dirt cheap that way, and you don't even have to fear bootlegs since there are none in the first place. AliExpress customer service will even replace or refund the figure if something is wrong with it, though sometimes you have to contact them directly if they keep refusing. But I've only seen it happen with tiny 1 dollar items.

I guess I am glad I skipped out on the first versions, since these second ones come with more alternate stuff. Its weird that Square is so stingy with extra parts, and the BAs almost never come with alternate heads/faces/expressions.

There will almost surely be an Ultima Weapon Cloud release. Unfortunately for them now that people know they're doing this, it will be harder to sell versions with lower tier weapons And characters without impressive high tier weapons won't really be affected.

Its not that surprising. Hardedge seems to be something of a "second default" sword for Cloud. Even the old Bandai figure came with the Buster sword and Hardedge. Nail bat is like the game's joke weapon. Not sure if anyone would seriously spend the kind of money they're asking for what is essentially a joke. Though, I could see them doing Ultima weapon.

But really, they should have just at least included 2-3 weapons from the get go. Or as others mentioned, a weapons pack. Its already bad enough to double dip on a figure just for a new weapon, but they will definitely get heavily diminished returns if they try to triple-dip and the only difference is a new weapon.

So this is my middle ground, I guess. I think they look fun as accessories. Would probably fit better with 1/6 figures? I dunno, I never owned a real funko pop.

And I assume that is if we are only counting the main party. So I can see Barret being a top 3 for some but I wouldn't say it's widespread.

Just got back from Japan and bought Zack there along with plushies

Bike which I got for cheap(around 9,855 jpy)

Zack I feel from all the playable characters I own is the best in terms of quality and build, he feels good to move and no looseness either, I kinda wish Cloud had Zack's quality and build.

If I will ranks all the Bring Arts FFVII playable characters I have he will be on top, 2nd tier will be Tifa and Barret

Only minor concern I have(thankfully my Zack's bangs is positioned right so no more need to adjust/fix it myself) is that his crotch piece(pic related) is very thin, similar to Bring Arts Elly from Xenogears and Bring Arts Aerith's panties which can tore if you aren't careful so just be mindful of it when posing him as Zack is definitely great to play/pose with

He is currently riding the Hardy Daytona taking care of it while Cloud is in storage, Idk if I can make Cloud sit on it though as I have the 1st release although my copy's legs hasn't popped out yet(knocks on wood)

Was afraid of using his crossed arm accessory as I have seen Bring Arts Bartholomew from Xenogears for arm pegs being succpible to broke off but thankfully, it was easy with Zack’s, just make you to spread his shoulder pauldrons so you have more room/leeway/access to his shoulder for easier pulling/inserting of the fore arms/cross arms accessory

I went through three of them. Two are broken, one was refunded, and one got replaced, which I could keep. I have not opened the new one and plan on fixing the broken one with the Linnaea guide you/OP posted once. It's just... soft? Like it twists right off. The second one I even knew would break, so I was careful and even lubed it bit by bit, but it still happened. It's not my first time doing figure maintenance or anything. It's just that shit and weird.

Personally, their scale is too big for my taste, I collect figmoes, SHF, Revos, etc so Bring Arts scales better than PA Kais/SHINs

Also collectors most probably already have a Vincent PAK and since SHINs is the same-ish scale just with added new things plus no more clicky joints, they are probably waiting to see on how it turns out first before double dipping

Tbh, I was so sure the line will end with Bring Arts Cloud Hardedge version but out of nowhere, SE put out Bring Arts Tifa Mythril Claws version for preorders so really, anything is possible and could happen, there is a black and white artwork made for a Shinra Guard from the OG game so if they want to, they can base it off from that art.

Personally, I'm baffled on why SE hasn't made a FFVII Chocobo with a Cloud smiling face similar to the OG artwork, thats also a good way to release an updated Cloud as seeing and playing with Zack, I kinda wished Cloud has what Zack has, better qc and build
