DESU, a lot of those reveal images were already posted plus almost all of them were figurines/statues or look like that, without any context or information without running translation software, which I'm not about to waste even more time doing.

There's nothing to mention other than to list: Batman, Batman, Batman, Catwoman, Hush Superman, etc. - again, it's all over the last thread, and there's absolutely nothing on InArt's site as far as pre-order information, not even a placeholder web page.

If you want to step up and make a future thread, be my guest pal, I only did it because I'm around and noticed the last thread was hitting the bump limit; plus no other recent OP had included ANY/most of this information for the past 3-4 threads. The attention whore certainly wouldn't.

I've severely cut down on McFarlanes once he raised the prices. Since the increases, I only got the WoT Supergirl for 28, Silver Age Supes for 28, Steph for 28, Swolecrow for 27 and Catwoman for 35 (not a good deal at all but it was the only flawless - for McFarlane - figure of that wave). Toy positioning is a combination of experience + having a good mental picture of what poses work and what don't. But you can generally manipulate the figures into a variety of looks and it's not hard to get them to stand even without a peg stand, with some trial & error.

If you mean the theatrical, your best bet is to use Todd's main page and try the various retailers on the regular: https://mcfarlane.com/toys/superman-krypto-superman-movie-7in-dte/ Best Buy had it available to buy on line as recently as a few days ago but tonight its showing sold out - some folks do update that. Someone like Entertainment Earth it's not worth re-checking since "sold out" for them usually means gone for good.

Frankly, at this point, I would either wait for one of the re-issues or try to grab the fond joy.

McFarts have been dropped to ridiculous prices and then go back up again. The Future State Superman couldn't be giving away when they were doing two for one sales. The Superman Prime the same thing. The Rebirth Bathman was never that cheap but also the same thing. There have always been figures that didn't sell, but they usually don't stay on a site like Amazon, they work their way through the system to be at Ollies and Ross until some idiots buy them and try to make money by posting them on WalMart or Amazon's marketplace (or even stupidly on eBay) and try to flip them for a measly $3-6-10 of profit.

The suit detailing like the webs and spider are molded in and therefore require at least retooling at the very least.

>where are the BTAS character series?
They literally made a Batman and Joker based on the New Adventures art style. Bruce Timm's art doesn't translate well to 3d so they weren't that highly desired, but they were leagues better than DCC's effort or Todd's reuse of that effort.

As a McFarlane collector,

1/10th i.e. 7in is the worst idea anyone ever came up with in scaling figures.

1/6th makes sense for rich people who want high detail art pieces that they carefully display, where each figure is important and key to their collection, but are weak for dynamic poses. It's for more like a museum display than an action figure display.

1/12th makes sense for people who want a good level of detail and posability.

1/18th makes sense for fun world building with each figure able to be easily supplemented with vehicles and playsets.

1/10th serves no one and just makes giant unstable monstrosities that can barely pose to 1/12th collectors or lower detail cheap-outs to 1/6th collectors who wouldn't even consider them.

Anonymous No.11585832

I'm not surprised he reused a mold, I'm surprised they chose a look that required a new mold instead of choosing one that didn't. They could've reissued the platinum with some slight changes (to get around McFarlane's ridiculous no reissues policy).

I wouldn't say C lister requires the general public to know about them. C sounds like a good place between obscure and only for heavy comic readers like D-E list and the A-B listers who appear in movies and such. But GotG and the like tend to blur those lines...

The amount of toy reviewers is way down compared to over 5 years ago. When I look up reviews for say a somewhat obscure 2016 or 2017 ML I see at least like 10+ videos. Not so with modern figures. And now it's mostly the usual suspects with big channels who probably get most of the figures for free. I think people who tried to review got out of it because they realized it wasn't going to get them big Youtube-bux, or they just dropped the hobby.

I'd like to see polling data since I think it would've been true awhile ago before generational shifts but it's been too long and Gal was in the role for quite awhile. Also there are many countries on this planet who did not get a chance to see the old Carter TV show but many more were able to see the Snyderverse WW movies due to globalization.
