Those were known for their large sizes, high quality plastics and numerous gimmicks, these do the same and are the exact opposite of modern Hasbro. There is absolutely a demographic of people that prefer oldschool Transformer/Sentai design philosophy, both for themselves and their children.

Even before the price hike these are an insane deal. Their deluxe equivalents are larger and heavier than Hasbro's voyagers. Their Leaders are bigger than Hasbro Commanders.

The show has a dub and its bad, the fight animation is good and was done by a TF fan animator so maybe with a good performance people will latch on. Its at least better than Earthspark and Cyberworld.
